Best wine, atmosphere and ambience!!I bring all my friends and visiting relatives here and they all are amazed by the quality of wine and view!

My best friend had her small intimate wedding here and it was absolutely beautiful! Staff was amazing and we were very well taken care of! Sami was a great contact for anything we needed while we were there. She was consistent with checking in on us to make sure we were well taken care of! The wine was absolutely amazing! Loma Prieta will always have a huge place in my heart! I had the honor of getting married here& I could not have asked for a better experience. From the staff, wine selection& INCREDIBLE views, I truly could not have asked for anything better. If you are a bride to be/ looking for a fun weekend activity or simple just want to sip wine then this is the place to be. Will come back often!

This is on top of the mountain with great views. A beautiful outdoor area to sit and look out the valley to the ocean. The road is windy to get up to this winery, but it is worth it. You can bring your own picnic and dogs and children are welcome. There is plenty of outdoor seating, and sometimes they have food available to buy-a pizza over was operating when we were there one time.

Checked this place out from a friend's recommendation and it didn't disappoint! We wine hopped with a group of us and fell in love with this place. While, it is far in the mountains and takes time to get to the top, the view was spectacular. We decided on the 4 wine flight for 15 each. The 2017 cab sav was th best out of the four and we got a bottle of it at the end. This place is great for getting together with friends and wine tasting. They have giant sized chess and other games and a beautiful view of santa cruz beaches. This place is very instagramable. You'll see when you come! The staff are so helpful here and give you knowledgeable on their wines. You can bring your own food here which I would recommend since there's no food at the winery or in the area.

I was really excited for this place because of the view and many positive reviews... but our experience was a bit jarring. We visited in August 2020... well into the swing of COVID madness. We had a reservation at a nearby winery, and when that finished, we decided to see if we could squeeze in another tasting. I called Loma Prieta and inquired if they had space for us to stop by. A women brusquely responded that they have no reservations and it was "first come first serve" before promptly hanging up the call. That should have been my warning sign to not go, but for some reason I was determined to visit. While ordering the wine, we are helped with the woman who I spoke with on the phone. She was friendlier in-person, but did take a moment while pouring our wine to complain about COVID procedures, and warn us to "never let anyone point a thermometer at your head. Next thing you know it.. they will point a gun at your head". Ok then.... Strange anecdotes aside.. the real trouble of the day comes when we go outside to enjoy our wine. THE PATIO IS PACKED!! It is chaotic. There is no way it is in compliance with CDC regulation. It was like a normal, packed, summer day there. No one from the Loma Prieta was monitoring the patio at all. Anyways, if you care about your safety (or the safety of your community), this winery is definitely one to skip.

A beautiful environment with exceptional wines! Pinotage is interesting and yummy! Bring your own food and enjoy the view! Very kid and dog friendly! Live music many Saturdays and oyster events! They do not take reservations, are only open weekends so if you have a big party arrive promptly at 12! They offer 4 tasting pours for $15 and will apply the fee to a bottle of wine as well!

Decided to do some wine tasting here on a Saturday around 1:30pm. It was busy so best to come early. Wine tasting was only outdoors. By the time we sat down, only 1 table left. No reservations available. It's first come first serve. The tasting is a flight of 4 wines for $15. You take the flights out to the outdoor tables to enjoy. The tasting portions are so tiny! One sip and the wine is gone. My 3rd time coming here. But my taste in wine has evolved since then. None of the wines stood out to us. Great place to picnic and nice views.

Beautiful views, scenic outdoor seating, and a gracious staff. There was live music on the quiet saturday we went. We however were not fans of the wine flight included in the tasting, it is a rotating menu so don't let this deter you.

Up at the tippy top of the Los Gatos mountains sits Loma Prieta Winery. The views are breathtakingly beautiful. On a clear day you can see all the way to SantaCruz Beach Boardwalk. The wine is great and the sparkling, which is my favorite, is awesome! The new owners are gracious hosts! It is definitely a destination for a special date or event. You will not be disappointed!
