I usually call in and pick up my order of food for me and my family and it's always as I expected it. It's fresh and delicious. The service is a little different than it used to be so I'm curious if they changed ownership. It seems something like that has gone on. But I definitely like the change. Friendly service!

Stumbled upon this location while hubby and I were in Redwood City Barnes and Noble. We were seated right away. Really good service here as we were always attended to. Lots of food. The lion king roll I ordered was really tasty! The hubby ordered a bento box and it was a lot of food. It's a small place but also comfortable enough for a bigger party. Worth a try!

After getting our nails done at the neighbouring Perfect 10 Nail Salon in the Sequoia Station (plenty of parking at this shopping center), walked over to Little MadFish for a quick dinner with Mom and Z on Saturday, December 16, 2023. Not sure if this was my first visit here. It's possible that I have eaten here before, but don't remember. We arrived shortly after 4:30 PM without reservations and were seated immediately. For the most part, the restaurant was clean, even the unisex bathroom was well-kept. Mom did have the staff wipe our table clean, though. The rear area, nearby the restroom, appeared to be used as a storage space for boxes of supplies which was a bit of an eye sore.I understand that there is a Little MadFish in Fremont as well. I believe that they are related. Chain restaurants aren't really my favourite eateries, but Little MadFish's food was decent and the prices were very reasonable.Below are the items that we ordered:CALAMARI TEMPURA - Ok. Z thought that it was good.Salmon Teriyaki Box ($25) - No complaints from Mom on her order.Beef Teriyaki Box ($25) - Gyoza sauce was not automatically given, I was told that we need to ask for it which is WEIRD. The teriyaki beef was drowning in the sauce and the meat wasn't the leanest. Crunch California Roll ($11) - Pieces were generous in size. Z enjoyed this.Spider Roll ($14) - A smaller serving than the Crunch California Roll, but still very filling. Z liked this roll as wellHot Green Tea was not free; they were $1 each, but with free refills. Small Hot Sake was only $4 per bottle, an awesome price, we ordered two....and some items to go for DJ & V; Avocado Cucumber Roll ($5.75), Asparagus Roll ($5.50), Shitake Mushroom Roll ($5), California Roll with no avocado ($8), and two orders of Gyoza (Pork, $8 each). The to-go gyoza sauce was a bit spicy, according to V. Altogether, the check total was $154.10 which I thought was not bad, especially considering that we had two bottles of sake.Service was friendly.Would I return? If already at the Sequoia Station and in need to grab a quick bite, sure. If not, I would choose to dine somewhere else.

There were too much rice on rolls, rice was little too wet, and the fish was not very fresh. Maybe today was not a good day.

Best Bento box in Bay Area. Great Sushi offerings. Get 49ers and Flaming Lion King. They closed the Fremont location so have to drive to this location.

Speechless . The sushi rolls are monsters. You will not believe your eyes. Sushi on steroids. Not really a Japanese zen sushi experience but if you want a huge monster sushi roll and are very hungry and like slightly sweet mayo sauces and heaping garnishes atop your sushi this is the place for you. And you won't go away hungry though may walk away slightly shocked . I could not even finish one sushi roll here. Though not a zen sushi experience , if you're looking for a Poki bowl / sushi roll / sushiritto experience all fused together the sushi here will hit the spot and in a very BIG WAY. To be honest we laughed through most of dinner ... at the sheer size of the rolls! Try it. You will know why the fish have gone mad!

Trying to pass poke as sashimi grade sushi is a cardinal sin. There's 15 other sushi places in a 1 mile radius that you should go instead.
