Came to Lequy after being piqued by the shabu style cook method for pho. I happened to come for a late lunch on a weekday so there was no wait and service was expeditious like at any other pho place. When everything arrived at the table I could already smell the richness of the broth. I took a quick sip and was also pleased that it wasn't too salty! Because the meat was raw though, I did take time to toss in all the noodles and then scoop out some broth into that bowl to preserve its clarity and flavor - I recommend this strategy btw!Overall, I loved that I could cook it exactly to my liking. Moreover, the portion size was generous and the wagyu was so buttery and tender. I would absolutely look to come again when I'm in the area!

My review is only for the caramelized Chilean sea bass claypot! I've been eyeing that dish for a while, I feel like it's not as easy to find except maybe if you're in Viet town. Usually whenever I get this dish it's made with catfish. I actually liked the change to Chilean sea bass because you don't have to work around as many bones, it's not as "muddy" tasting as catfish can be, and the texture of Chilean sea bass is also smooth/soft tho not as soft as catfish, but soft fish is overall what I prefer. I thought this dish was a tad salty but overall very delicious. It also comes with a side of salad and white rice. I was dipping the white rice into the sauce because its so good. However rather than salad I wish they added some bell peppers to this dish (like bu luo lac style). I think it would take this dish to the next level!I'll absolutely be back to eat it again!

This is a high-end Viet cuisine. My husband was pleasantly surprised with this place in the Bay. His OC-level expectations were beat when he tried the Banh Mi. It was on the expensive side and small side compared, but he said he'd try it again.I got the Wagyu Pho. Although I probably would come back to try other dishes, it was pretty melt-in-yo-mouth tasty. We've been going around to other restaurants in the area, but we'd be open to visiting this spot again. The restaurant was super accommodating and we came at a time when it wasn't too busy, so service was fairly attentive.Parking is relatively easy as well and it's nearby a boba spot - of course there are a ton in the area.

Came here for a later Sunday lunch and was surprised it was still pretty busy. We got the wagyu pho and one of the clay pots. Plus a viet coffee. The pho was good, nice flavor and hit the spot on a cold day. Meat came on the side and they gave you plenty. Noodles were ok. Broth was good. But I'd definitely go with a clay pot next time! A bit on the pricier side.

The place was packed on Saturday lunch time.We ordered;Grilled pork sandwich -- it was good and exactly how it should taste. Shrimp and crab egg roll -- it is more Chinese style rather than the thinner Vietnamese style egg rolls. I can't taste it see any shrimp or crab. I actually taste potatoes in the egg rolls. That was a miss. Carmelized sea bass clay pot-- the fish was not Carmelized but has a tasty sauce for the fish. Wait staff was friendly and fast. But the place is not very clean. The server gave us a dish that was very oily on the bottom. The booth chair has oil in the back. The reason it has 3 stars instead of 2 is because I came here before for the Waygu pho and that was delicious.

I came here with a co-worker after a long day and enjoyed a banh mi and wagyu pho. I have seen places offer filet mignon pho, but never wagyu. It was quite the mark up so I thought about it. But when the wagyu came out, I knew I had made the right decision as there was so much meat. It was brought out on it's own plate, before the pho.The pho came a few minutes later and we dunked a few pieces of meat at a time for a great meal. The beef was so soft and tender and the broth was so flavorful. My banh mi was decent sized, but was very veggie heavy, not enough meat. Oh well, the wagyu in the pho made up for it and I left this place a happy customer. They will bring you the check so no need to pay at the counter.

I went here on a Friday evening with a party of five. Two ordered the waguy pho, one banh mi, one spicy hot chicken soup,, and one vermecelli. The wagyu pho's bowl was smaller than expected but they gave us a good amount of meat on the side so that balances it out. According to my bf, the meat could be softer. My vermecelli was alright as well. As a person who grew up wih Vietnamese food, I wasn't blown away. As for the others, they didn't comment too much on their dishes but did seem to enjoy them. We also got spring rolls as appetizers and those were good! They were HUGE though and I love that they gave everybody their own individual peanut sauce dip. Some other things I liked about the restaurant is that they do have a fair amount of gluten free options and the inside decor was very nice. It was warm lighting and many plants, providing a warm ambiance. I also like the booth seating bc it felt like we had our own space. One sad thing was there was no soap in the restroom , but luckily, they had hand sanitizer near the door!
