Did a burrito challenge/taste test between this spot and Taqueria 2, on Park.... Las Cazuelas was the burrito winner.Pros- both super burritos were good, they actually had similar ingredients (steak, chicken, rice, sour cream, and avocado). Las Cazuelas' burrito had a little more flavor and was the family favorite. They give complimentary chips and salsa, even on to go orders. Taqueria 2 only gives you complimentary chips if you dine in. If you want chips at Taqueria 2, you'll have to pay for chips to go... Actually, Las Cazuelas gave us a basket while we waited for our order. I had to ask, but they still gave it to us, no problem! My son ordered their steak fajitas which he polished pretty quickly. And even though he said he wanted no part of my burrito taste test (he said I was nuts for going to two places), he also ate quite a bit of my burritos too! Teenagers!! Another pro, If you drive a Tesla - I think their parking lot is a speciality charging station-I saw a ton of Teslas there charging. Oh, yes, they have their own parking lot, a huge pro! Taqueria 2 does as well, but theirs has a funky layout.Cons- horchata was $6.00 without refills. Some Mexican spots (Taqueria El Abuelo for example in WG) give free refills, even on their "specialty juices/drinks", not the case here. I ordered their beef soup with vegetables in addition to the burrito and I've definitely had better. For their soup, they used corned beef. It was a little saltier than I'm used to because of that. Threw me off when I first opened the container since the meat was also on the super pink side (and quite fatty). There were only two pieces of meat (which equaled to very little meat once you cut the fat off too), 2 carrot slices, 3 zucchini slices, and 1 small corn on the cob slice. Felt skimpy. So rating of a 4, since for the burrito challenge, they came out on top. But overall, a few things that were disappointing, which is why I'm not able to give them a 5. I will come back though whenever we have a burrito craving as right now, they seem to have the best burritos in the local area.

It's been ages since I've been back to Las Cazuelas, and it's just as good as I remember! The food is hands down the best Mexican food I've had in the Bay Area. Coming from LA, it's hard to find Mexican food here that tastes as fresh as street food or taco truck food, where everything is made by hand in small batches--but Las Cazuelas does it perfectly.I always get the breakfast burrito, and it never disappoints. The salsas are the highlight, super tasty and full of flavor. They're the perfect addition to any dish. The homemade chips are also amazing, crispy, fresh, and served with every meal. The watermelon agua fresca is also a must-try, refreshing and just the right amount of sweetness. If you're looking for fresh, authentic Mexican food, this is the place to go!

Thank you for your local support of Hoover performing arts. My barbacoa super burrito was delicious but didn't include sour cream. My daughter crispy taco should have had cheese? But none. Love the patio. Maybe next time. Not sure my family would come but I liked my burrito.

My boyfriend and I came here for their buffet after seeing it on Instagram. It's about $32/person before tips. We wrote our name down on the notepad on the table and they called our name when a table was ready. They had a nice buffet spread with a lot of variety. They also had about 4 drink options: orange juice, apple juice, a yummy green fresca, and a purple one.The food was good but I got full really quickly. I didn't like the menudo. Definitely couldn't eat my money's worth. The churros were yummy and had filling. I had to make multiple trips to the buffet area since the flans kept running out

I am so glad I picked this place for a group dinner! The first thing that stands out is the huge, welcoming patio. Absolutely immaculate vibes, and perfect for when the weather is nice.Next, the service was fantastic. Grace and the chef Omar made our night super special by checking in on us, continuously refilling our chips and salsa, and preparing some amazing food! We ordered the chicken fajitas, the taco salad with chicken, and the shrimp super tacos. Everything was so good!Highly recommend. This would be a great place to have a big group of people / meet friends, date night, or enjoy a solo meal!

I passed by this place several times before deciding to give it a try today, and I don't regret it. The main attraction of this place is its patio and outdoor tables, while the inside is small and not very appealing. So, if you don't like to eat outside or it's a cold and windy day, it's better to avoid this place because it will ruin your experience. The staff, mostly female, is very attentive and friendly. They welcome you with a basket of tortilla chips and salsa, and you can enjoy their buffet on Sundays. Although I wasn't hungry enough to take advantage of the buffet, I saw it, and it looked and smelled delicious. I would come back to try it. Bonus point: they make the tortillas by hand right in front of you. They offer an extensive menu at very affordable prices. However, for some reason, I decided to try their breakfast burrito and was pleasantly surprised. It had a manageable size and was filling at the same time. Every bite was a delicious blend of all the ingredients. I asked for hot sauce, and they served me their delicious homemade sauces (green and red). I highly recommend the green sauce, made with raw tomatillo (common in Mexico). In summary, you should try it. It's a solid Mexican food place.

I think I'd give this place another try as my experience might have been due to my door dasher dropping off 2 other orders before mine. When I got my food it was really cold. The enchilada suizas I got were pretty good though after I heated them up. The rice and beans were tasty. I love that they also serve dishes you can't always find everywhere like posole and albondigas. I really liked the orange & green salsa that came with my food too.

Nice spot to get some fresh air and have some dinner. The food was good, nice size portions. The slasa was on pint. What makes this spot good is the staff. Gladys was profession and very nice. Even being short staffed they were quick and Friendly. Plenty of parking in the lot or street if you can find it.

Had Pozole with Pata on side delivered, this evening. Though, the delivery was longer than expected. The Pozole w/ Pata, was delicious. The soup was thick with spices, perfect basting; fresh, not sitting in pot, or no dregs, meat was tender perfectly proportioned with soup and hominy. Tasted as prepped fresh batch every meal. The "pata" was slow cooked to perfection. Added to my soup and flash heated before eating. Condiments were fresh, cilantro, chopped onion, shredded cabbage, and lime wedges. Your choice of tortilla. Added to the steaming hot pozole, while cold weather outside, right before I dug in. Recommend it to all.

Service was amazing we had Grace help us out and she was so sweet! On the other hand I went with my family to try their buffet breakfast and we did have to pay before going in so we weren't able to see the food they had out. The food was not good at all, if you're looking for authentic Mexican breakfast I would skip. We did try to ask for a refund because we didn't end up eating anything and they denied us a refund so we will not be back. Would recommend Pedro's in Santa Clara for a delicious Mexican style breakfast buffet!
