Lai Rai Restaurant

Food came out slow (came near closing hour tho?). - Prices are comparable to other Viet bars ( $5 for a beer, $5 for peanuts, everything else on menu was $25).- Place is a bit small but the lights and TV were cool.- Lot of karaoke! My table didn't get to sing though. - the waitress were on the older side.

Not exactly what I would expect from a restaurant. There's definitely something off about this place. I went on a Monday and it seemed like a pretty dead night cuz there was a man and 5 other ladies sitting at the round table. I believe the ladies were all waitresses in clubby outfits. It has divey sports bar vibe. Everything is blacked out from the outside. I came here mainly looking at the pictures of food, but wish I had seen pictures of their menu. Not quiet sure how any price is justified. Even the appetizers were $25. If I went to an actual upscale restaurant, it wouldn't cost me that much. I asked if they're new and I was told yes, yet when I came back to read the yelp reviews, the oldest was from 2018 so not sure if it's just a change in management. The service was prompt. We were asked what to drink (there was no drink menu). We got a coke and a Corona (with I think complimentary peanuts I believe). Somehow those two items came out to be $14!? It all felt off. So just ended up paying and left. And probably won't be coming back.

My wife and I was looking for a vietnamese restaurant to eat and end up going to this place. Not what I expected. The music was to loud and smoke everywere. The waitress that served us did not understand what we were asking. My wife asked for a coke instead they gave dr pepper and opened it as well as my water. The food was a rip off. Long story short we only payed for the water and dr pepper wich was $12 and left. I expected a restaurant but it felt like a strip joint. Would not recomend it.

This is the former QUEEN BEE. You will find one nestled indiscriminately in the corner of every well situated commercial complex around town. They will be here regardless if you never choose to patron one and they will be here to entertain the ones who come out more often than once. But there lies a small group of people who hardly ever go, but when they do go....they choose to come here - to Lai Rai! I can't speak for my friends, but what I know is that, we leave with the best memories of eachother and that the next meetups have already been chosen as to where. Thank you to the beautiful and brilliant owners who make it happen each night. *This one's for you Kalainy!

Love the atmosphere and trendy look. The food and service was good. Thanks for being in the community. Can't wait till we have indoor dining again!

Place is fine. Stayed for 2 1/2 hours waited for my song to be played but it never got played. Asked them about it like 3 times but still nothing lol
