I'm so confused ! This is the only place I order my tacos and they always come perfect . The first timeI go in person and I order my tacos ... why did they me my food swimming in sauce ? Ruined our whole dinner and we drove 30 mins to get here. I' And they still suck . Give people their fucking salsa, especially if they paid for it.

Taco tuesdays -I'm not sure if they offer the taco tuesday discount anymore but rather 40% off so it's no longer $1 Al Pastor tacos (slow cooking pork). Staff was friendly enough to give me some onions and pepper to pair with my order of 16 tacos. xDDespite that, staff are so friendly! Fast service. And great tacos!!

Got 12 tacos here--6 al pastor and 6 carnitas. Al pastor was definitely better by a long shot, but both were on the dry side. Tacos are on the average-to-large size. Each taco was $2.50, which isn't bad but they have a party tray for 12 tacos for $29.99 so we saved a whole penny! According to their website they offer 50% off al pastor tacos for Taco Tuesday. For $1.25 each, that is a damn steal and I will be sure to come back to take advantage. They also give love to other days of the week with $5 carnitas burrito on Wednesdays, $1.25 tamales on Thursdays, and 2 for $6 barbacoa tacos Friday to Sunday. Just another reason to hate Mondays I guess.

The service was kind of bad, the cashier was rude and kind of annoyed, we were next in line and she was looking at us angry. We didn't order something small, it was a lot and she messed up the order. We got 3 quesabirrias to try them and we made emphasis on NO ONION and she filled them with onion, at the moment of receiving the food I always make sure everything is correct and she said that they were not gonna be able to make more birrias cause they run out of it. (So I took the ones filled with Onion). All of our order was supposed to be onion free and everything had onion. They didn't give us a solution nor changed our food that they messed up.Also, the place was full of flies.

**La Plaza Market and Taqueria: A Taste of Mexico in East San Jose** As I stepped into La Plaza Market and Taqueria on McKee Road, I felt like I'd been transported straight to the bustling streets of Mexico. The vibrant colors, the aroma of sizzling meats, and the lively chatter of patrons--all of it whispered, "Bienvenidos." **Freshness Abounds:**The market section boasts a delightful array of fresh fruits, vegetables, and pantry staples. From plump avocados to juicy mangoes, it's a cornucopia of flavors waiting to be explored. I couldn't resist grabbing a bag of chiles de árbol--the kind that packs a fiery punch in every bite. **Taqueria Magic:**But let's talk about the heart and soul of La Plaza--the taqueria. Oh, amigos, prepare your taste buds! On Tuesdays, they roll out taco specials that dance with flavor. Picture tender carne asada, nestled in warm corn tortillas, topped with zesty salsa and a sprinkle of cilantro. ¡Delicioso! **Menudo Every Day:**Menudo lovers, rejoice! Here, you don't have to wait for weekends. Their menudo--a rich, soul-warming soup made with tripe--is available daily. Pair it with a squeeze of lime and a side of freshly made tortillas, and you're in for a treat. **Midweek Burrito Bliss:**Wednesdays are burrito days. The burritos--big as a luchador's biceps--are stuffed with your choice of fillings. Carnitas, al pastor, or grilled veggies--it's a flavor fiesta wrapped in a warm tortilla blanket. **Thursday Tamale Fiesta:**Thursdays? Tamales galore! These little bundles of joy come in various flavors: chicken, pork, or even sweet corn. Each one is like a hug from abuelita herself. **Fabulous Takeout:**And the pièce de résistance? The takeout game is strong. Whether you're craving a midnight snack or planning a picnic at Emma Prusch Farm Park, La Plaza's got you covered. Grab a bag of churros for dessert--they're crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and dusted with cinnamon and sugar. So, my fellow wanderers, if you're yearning for authentic Mexican flavors, head to La Plaza Market and Taqueria. It's not just a place to eat; it's a fiesta for your taste buds. ¡Buen provecho!
