Delicious food!!! I am very picky when it comes to eating Mexican food but this place gets it just right. Not only is their food delicious authentic and bomb but their location is cute and the service is great. The drinks are divine as well, i swear I feel like I escape whenever I go to this place and travel to Mexico. I love this place! Keep it up guys! PS They have bomb handmade chips with delicious green sauce. Just so good. Go. You won't regret it.

Small hole in the wall connected to a small Mexican grocery store. Food is so authentic and delicious. I had the michacanas enchiladas. It was my first time having it. Huge plate of food. 4 corn tortillas fried and dipped in red sauce. Cotija cheese inside. Lettuce tomato and more cheese on top. 2 pieces of chicken and delicious potatoes. My michilada was probably the best I've had. The ladies are super nice and gave us good service. You can also have fresh hand-made tortillas with your food or to purchase next door. Can't wait to go back and try more food and definitely a michilada.

The chile verde tacos will knock your socks off. The restaurant is clean and has a great traditional vibe. It also smelled really good in there and the service was top notch. I will definitely come back to try other items when I'm anywhere near Redwood City.

I ordered Machaca | $15.99Dried shredded beef scrambled with eggs in a tomato based sauce with rice & beans. What they served was VERY dry beef Jerky! It was very hard, inedible. This type of cutting cornersdoes not go over well. I've been all over Mexico and usually Machaca meatis moist tasty, shredded beef similar to brisket. When the lady asked me how I liked it I told her.And the attitude was "that's the way we make it"No consideration that my complaint might be valid. The tortillas were very heavy and thick. Not a plus.My grandmother would make tortillas thin so that you could see the shadow of her palm underneath. No fresh coffee for breakfast. The restaurant is very small, I was afraid I would notget a table. It took them a while to clear the dirty dishes. They had a T.V. but it was not on. The prices were as high as an upscale and better place. No chips and salsa while I was waiting.I like the attached market.Probably better to order food to go.I always try to support family run businesses. My favorite is Las Chiquitas on Broadway.they are not open on the weekend, or I would have been there.

The best fresh tortillas are made here! Three ingredients only: corn, lime, and water. If you arrive early, they are still warm. Tamales as well. Great Mexican spice wall and cuts of pork and beef that you just can't find at a traditional Norte American grocery or butcher shop. I haven't eaten yet at the taqueria portion of the store, but I will soon! If you are a home cook who plans on making your own carnitas, pescado, or asada tacos, definitely stop here first for your tortillas!!

I finally visited the restaurant after a year of being a fan of the packaged tortillas sold next door. (Since trying them, I refuse to go anywhere else. The corn flavor is incredibly rich, and the texture is perfectly chewy.) This is now my favorite spot for carnitas! Sopes and tortillas made to order.

Was craving chilaquiles and wanted to avoid generic breakfast burritos as a fill in. Thanks to yelp, I found this spot. Breakfast menu includes huevos rancheros and chilaquiles, menudo and birria on the weekends. As soon as I sat down I had chips and salsa, and a drink. The chilaquiles came with rice, beans and a green salsa with a perfect amount of kick. You're eating in the small, 7 table restaurant attached to the grocery store. Looking forward to coming back for dinner or lunch.

Would give the customer service a 0/5 if I could. Told cashier 3 times no cheese because I'm very allergic. Got my food went back because it had cheese. Told me she wasn't going to fix it nor give me my money back because she said I did not tell her anything. She refused to do anything, took about 10 minutes to finally give me my money back.
