delicious food HORRIBLE service . All the cashier did was nod when I had a question . Unhelpful

Things haven't changed. Still continuing to lean towards not as good. Couldn't find a corporate number, but would love to tell them what a horrible job three other franchises are doing.

A very outdated fast and casual restaurant. We came on a Wednesday evening, stood at the counter for a brief moment before staff noticed us. It appears that they do receive quite a bit of phone orders. While we were eating, a customer called to complain about receiving someone else's order. The young gal was on the phone for more than 5 minutes while a woman was at the counter waiting to place her order. Perhaps ask the customer on the phone to hold and take the complaint in a lower voice or go to the back because I could hear the rebuttal from the employee which I find very unprofessional. Gavin ordered the BBQ chicken plate and I ordered the katsu curry plate. We were not asked if we were going to dine there or take it to-go, but it didn't bother us to eat out of the container since we both knew we weren't going to finish the second we opened our order. The portion is generous. The curry was thick but mild, the katsu was fried perfectly... not oily, not overcooked, and had a crunch w/ each bite while tender on the inside. The mac salad was delicious. It was what inspired me to create my own version the week after for Gavin since he's been on the plate lunch kick lately. We asked for water but the beverage dispenser was not dispensing water. When we tried to push the lever down for the water, a bit of the punch or lemonade came down the spout. The machine needed maintenance!+ reasonable prices + generous portions + parking is plentiful but can be a pain + comforting, filling, and delicious food + speedy service from the BOH + gal at the front is nice, but needs extra training to deal w/ multiple customers and difficult customers I'm already hungry!

This used to be my go to place for Loco Moco. Not anymore. This last time my "over easy " egg was the texture of a piece of carpet and I got about one tablespoon of gravy on the usual pile of dry rice. Plus the prices are up 20% since last visit. Not sure I'll ever go here again

Get a more vibrant cashier... he lacks customer service skills and is awkward. This is probably the oddest L&L that I've been too and hopefully the food is like the others because so far no bueno.

I tried the healthy garlic talapia plate with brown rice and salad. The ingredients tasted fresh and flavorful with the right amount of salt. The dressing was sweet and tangy. The fish was cooked perfectly and I liked the salad dressing was packed on the side. The portion was generous.The water tasted and smelled unfiltered. The entire restaurant appeared outdated and dingy. The atmosphere reeked of Pine-Sol. Parking is shared with other businesses and can get busy on the weekends.My food came out quickly and I had to clarify that I wanted the healthy plate since there is a white rice and macaroni salad option that is made. I think the cashier should help clarify the difference as it was my first time ordering.

I love Hawaiian BBQ but the garlic shrimp I ordered today was a huge mistake! I should have stuck with my usual chicken katsu or bbq mixed plate but the picture on the menu had me fooled. I expected some buttery garlicky juicy shrimp (like the ones in Hawaii) but instead received some over cooked, deep fried, dry shrimp with a 'garlic mixture' tossed on top. I get it there are some cuts restaurants need to make for timely food service but if that's the case don't advertise something different.. So just a heads up if Hawaiian style garlic shrimp is what you're looking for don't come to this location, haven't tried other locations yet but now I know to ask before I order.

My first visit to L&L Hawaiian Barbecue - Call me unimpressed. For $19.30 I received rubbery beef that tasted like the oily grill it was cooked on and the chicken had the same yucky flavor notes. No sauce to spice-up the rice or Mac salad, unless you wanted to pony-up more $$. I've got fond memories of Hawaiian BBQ from when I was stationed in Hawaii with the Navy, but I won't be coming to L&L's to recreate that experience.

I appreciated the customer service my group received from the catering coordinator Winnie Li. She was absolutely amazing in making sure I had everything ordered properly. And the delivery person (I forgot his name) was AMAZING! He helped us set everything out and taught us how to use stereos! :) They made coordinating this event for hundreds of people way less stressful and I am so grateful for their excellent service.

came in the store, was not greeted or anything. waited 15 minutes no one came out to greet or anything not even a hello or acknowledgment that i was there. please do not give this place any business, obviously they don't appreciate us
