Kinja Sushi

As soon as I walked in, it struck me that all the servers and bussers were in very good moods, with strong positive energy, and all having a good time. This is a clear sign of a good work environment and culture, and the energy is infectious. So I was off to a good start. My server, Katie, took great care of me. She was friendly and attentive. Several other people checked on me, and they were all friendly as well. Great staff. I ordered the pork katsu don and loved it. I'll be back for sure. Next time, I'll bring friends for sushi.

Came here for dinner on a Saturday night and didn't have an issue getting a table for 2. It's a nice restaurant but has more of a family vibe rather than trendy or romantic. The service was friendly and attentive! As for the food, the sashimi was some of the best I've ever had! If I come here in the future, I'll stick mostly to sashimi and sushi because it really shined over the rolls. The rolls lacked a lot of flavor or desirable texture. Sadly one of the worst California rolls I've ever had. My true rating would be more of a 3.5 but overall it was a nice experience.

Kinja Sushi is located in the Crow Canyon Commons - a small, but busy plaza. Parking is hit or miss here, especially on weeknights and weekends. It looks more a sushi spot to come and socialize / hang out to drink, not for authentic sushi. Not much service either, I ordered ahead of time and still had to wait pretty long for my order. I tried their Sake Maki and Sake Nigiri. I came here decently hungry, so if I knew how tiny their rolls were, I would had either ordered more rolls, or went somewhere else instead. Sushi tasted decent though, just definitely not worth the price point.

Went to Kinja Sushi for the first time on Valentine's Day and luckily we went before there were so many people but service was quick and we were constantly getting checked up on which was appreciated! Their Chicken teriyaki plate was delicious, the chicken wasn't dry at all and the sauce was great. Lion king was better than most places, just needed a bit more sauce. As for the Kewpie Imano we loved it. Can't go wrong with it. The spicy mayo added a bit of a kick, shrimp and avocado in the middle, with salmon, tuna and hamachi sashimi on top. Would recommend and definitely would go again!!

What a pleasant find in San Ramon! A very nice sushi place with great seating, room for large parties, and great service.I highly recommend the karage, served with a side of sea salt to flavor to your taste, it was perfectly cooked and delicious. Definitely kid approved! The rolls were good but a standout for me was the rainbow roll. I also was able to order an uni hand roll that was really nice. The drink menu is not extensive, but it had some Sapporo I'd never tried before so that was fun. Can't wait to come again!

Visited recently for the first time and really enjoyed this place. Sat at the bar so we could watch some tv, and ordered a few rolls. I had read a review raving about how good the firefighter roll was so I decided to order it, and it was delicious! The presentation of everything, from their renovated interior, to the food, was so nice. This seems like a great place for large parties as there is plenty of seating. I'll definitely be back!

One of my favorite places. My first meal after giving birth was a Chirashi to go and the fish quality is so fresh! Had to come back again two months after! The dining experience made it even better. I'm definitely a hamachi girl and tried several of their hamachi sushi dishes. Loved it all. Great price and quality!

Don't order a glass of wine, they literally give you 2 sips full of wine for $9, it was ridiculous

Absolutely loved our dinner tonight. Service (Owen) and food were excellent. We started off with the grilled edamame appetizer and it was a keeper, absolutely delicious! The sesame chicken was really good and the portions were huge (definitely enough for 2 meals). My husband enjoyed his sushi and said we are coming back soon with the kids. The restaurant itself was very nice and clean. Definitely one of, if not the best Japanese restaurants around!! We had a wonderful evening with our cousins and are so glad they recommended it.
