I'm not sure how many reviews I have given King Wah's Chinese Restaurant but I'm realizing it's 2025 and it's still deserving of another of my 5 star reviews. This is the place if you want delicious and generous Cantonese style Chinese food!!!We recently compared their Woh Wonton Soup to a highly rated wonton restaurant in San Francisco Chinatown and let's just say there was NO comparison!!! Chinatown Woh Wonton Soup is far from "Woh"!!! Although, the wonton's were meaty enough, there was not much else to write about in comparison to King Wah's. You still cannot go wrong with King Wah's (to name a few): Dry Beef Chow Fun, Honey Walnut Prawns, Egg Tofu, Chinese Broccoli, Bok Choy & Mushrooms, Green Beans Chicken, Sweet & Sour Pork, Salt & Pepper Fish and Chrissy's Special Meatloaf which was named after me. There's still many more dishes I could name but then I would be naming most of the menu. Service is top rated with Jessie & Jason the Owners and on occasion you may have Christy their " Medical Doctor" daughter helping out. This family is so kind and welcoming, they really treat you like a part of their family!!! Thank you always Jessie, Jason & Christy for taking care of us for so many decades!!! We love you guys and your restaurant too!!!

Tonight is my parents' anniversary and they requested yummy Chinese food, but we only recently moved here and I didn't know where to go. So I looked on Yelp and found King Wah, and noticed some of our favorite dishes on the menu and decided to go for it. YUM! So good that I forgot to take photos until we were done eating. And you can see how much food is left so you can tell how generous the portions were for four people. Okay, I also might have over ordered, but totally worth it. We got the green beans with garlic, Mongolian beef, honey walnut prawns, mushroom chicken, beef chow fun with black bean sauce, and the hk style chicken chow mein. I could smell the delectable wok hei aroma as I was driving home. Everything was delicious - the prawns were fresh, the chicken tender, the beef succulent, and the veggies were all done well. Black bean beef chow fun is a childhood favorite of mine, and my tummy was very, very happy. 10/10 will absolutely be ordering from here again! Thank you!

I thought the food was very tasty hot and fresh Went for lunch today and had Mongolian beef lunch with fried rice. They are expensive and you don't get Hot and Sour soup or an Egg roll with it. I think for $18.95 for lunch, I think are much better values in town. Also, $2.95 for a single 12oz soda Probably double think another visit Even Tao Tao is a better option for value and taste for the same price

Surprisingly quiet on a Friday night. Upon entering was promptly greeted and went to the counter to order to go. It has been a while since we last ordered King Wah, mostly because it wasn't available through DoorDash, but we would always talk about needing to go back. Got our go to sesame chicken along with some chowfun and pot stickers. Was a little surprised at the $53 for the three things but rolled with it since it used to be a favorite before the pandemic. The chowfun was ounderwhelming in flavor and we ended up adding some black bean paste and chili oil to make it a little better. The sesame chicken pieces were smaller so a bit touch but the few bigger chunks were tender and tasty and the sauce was good. The potstickers were fine. We will probably go back once more in person before giving up on King Wah

We have been sick and gotten take out from this place twice in two days. I have been trying to find a good porridge place near us and I think I have found it! We got the minced beef porridge twice - flavorful, a lot of beef, and I love that they put slices of ginger. (We been to some other placed and the porridge has been bland) Singaporean noodles - I didn't have any since my throat hurt. My husband said this was done very well. Wet egg with beef over rice - A lot of toppings and also well flavored Love that it is close by and open all day long.

There was grizzle in my beef and chicken. There was something crunchy in my hot and sour soup that I spit out, and stringy vegetables. They try to cover up low-quality meat with lots of sauce. I feel sick!

I love this Chinese restaurant! I came here with my family for dinner last week and we had a great time. I loved each dish that we ordered from their tasty honey walnut shrimp, crisp beef and veggie dish, perfectly made fried rice and chow mein, and hot wonton soup. The food is served at a quick time but still cooked perfectly. Each dish was seasoned well and had no issues. The service here is quick and straight to the point. This is a family style restaurant where you sit in a round table with a lazy Susan on top. The price point is decent too and isn't too expensive. This place is so good, I'd even have food catered from here. I will definitely be back for more!

I've lived in Sunnyvale all my life and can't believe I've just eaten here. I I had Chinese food 3 days before in Vancouver and a friend visiting from the Philippines chose this restaurant to meet. It was clean, the staff were nice, and they had the perfect honey walnut shrimp the way I like it; light and crispy on the outside, tender shrimp, and lots of honey and condensed milk glaze. Everything to the tea was fresh and delicious . Ate it so fast we have no pictures

King Pao chicken and chicken wings were both very good and freshly made with fresh ingredients. Who would think a hole in the wall place in Old downtown Sunnyvale would be good! Right next to a good bar too!I will be back
