Kenji sushi has amazing food, and service! Charlotte was very nice and added to our great dinner.I'm looking forward to coming back soon.

This was my first time having sushi at a restaurant with my husband. The place is big with plenty of seating. We tried the spicy lion king roll and popcorn langoustine. I loved the lion king roll. It was hot, juicy and flavorful. The popcorn was okayish. I found the service to be too slow. It was almost 30 mins later that we got the popcorn langoustine. We had to remind them of our order again. Otherwise it was fine.

My partner and I have enjoyed our previous visits here. Since we hadn't dined here since mid-2024, we decided to grab lunch while running errands on a Sunday.SERVICEOur experience began positively, as we were seated quickly, which we appreciate. However, I've noticed a decline in the quality of customer service during our recent visit. After ordering two sushi rolls and drinks, the food was promptly served, but we didn't receive any follow-up to check if we needed anything else during our meal.Once we finished eating, a waitress came to clear our empty dishes, but then we waited for about eight minutes without anyone checking in on us. Despite three waitstaff nearby, it felt like they were unaware of our need for assistance. I eventually had to call a passing server to ask for our check. The restaurant was at about 55% capacity, so it wasn't too busy.SUSHI* Nana * Caterpillar Honestly, the quality of the sushi has declined as well. The fish is not as fresh, and the rolls are small for the price, around $18 to $20 each.Following this recent experience, I will be taking my business elsewhere. They must seriously consider the feedback provided on Yelp and other platforms, as there are evident issues that need addressing.

I tried the pork tonkatsu, and it was very good even when reheated in the airfryer. I wanted to try the bento box lunch special, which came with karaage and a few other things. It seems like a great deal but came in too late, so will definitely be back to try that. Even though I didn't try their sushi, a few people in my group ordered a few of their rolls and they looked good. Service was very quick even with are large group. It was pretty quite during our visit, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's busier on weekends.

Came to Kenji on a Wednesday night with a party of 7. They were able to seat us down right away. We ordered a variety of rolls along with sashimi platters. All the fish was super fresh along with fair portions. Apprecaite how the serves consistently checked in on our group to ensure we were doing well.

My friends and I came for lunch. We ordered 6 rolls and 1 appetizer and this was the perfect amount for 4 people. The rolls were on the smaller side but tasted fresh.

Not bad! My friends and I came here for lunch coming from Santana Row. I've never been here before. While the parking lot is on the smaller side, the inside of the restaurant is quite large. It was pretty empty for peak weekend lunch time.We only got a bunch of rolls, so I can't say too much on their fish quality, but I did enjoy the food. Service was good. Kind of expensive for what it is, but already it's relative to the area.

I love Kenji!!! This is my go to spot when Im in the area. Walking in, the place was spacious and there was an area where it was intimate which I thought was really nice. Got seated right away and the servers were very helpful, Alan was great!! Got the sashimi platter and everything was so good and fresh. There is no bento box dinner time but they do have entrees that serve soup and rice and salad. I Always have a great experience here, definitely recommend!

Went to Valentine's Day dinner with my girlfriend and had some of the best sushi, I have had in San Jose. Alan gave such amazing service that was not only quick but pleasant. The bussers removed plates as soon as they were finished and were kind. Most definitely recommend great for dates or family dinner.
