Karlitas Taco Place

I ordered one bean and cheese pupusa and I enjoyed it. It came with mild sauce and fermented cabbage slaw. The service was average. I had to wait 15 minutes for my pupusa dish.The ambience is acceptable.

512 Woodside Rd Redwood City, CA 94061(Woodside Manor Shopping Center)It's 4pm in Redwood City, and I'm cruising Woodside Rd looking for a place to take a break. I pull into the Petco parking lot, and happen to see "Karlita's Tacos- Mexican Fast Food." It's a small "hole-in-the-wall" place, that might be easy to miss. I go in to check out the menu, and there's 2-3 people waiting at the counter. I was told it's dinner time, and someone ordered a lot of pupusas. This is the type of restaurant where the counter, grill, and prep area are all in one place. There's indoor and outdoor dining, but most of the orders are takeout. Well, I like to eat pupusas, but not today. I wanted something quick and easy to eat. I ordered a Regular Burrito w/ Grilled Chicken, mild spicy ($12.00). Took about 5-mins to make, and it was good and yummy. Rice, beans, and chicken were in balanced portions. Important to me was it wasn't overly salty. You could taste the flavor of the ingredients. It wasn't a huge burrito, but it satisfied my appetite. If I'm in the area, I would come again. Friendly staff. Cash and electronic payments accepted. Free parking in shared lot.

Best pupusas I've ever had! Staff makes them fresh, so it does take about 15 - 20 minutes but well worth it. We also ordered super nachos to share and that was also a dish we will order again in the future. I thought there was only outdoor seating but if you walk further back, they have indoor seating and a bathroom. I normally don't care for music playing at restaurants but for some reason I was really tuned into their music selection and was vibing to it. Perfect hole in the wall for pupusas!

The worst place ever. The lady answering the phone is the most rude I have ever treated with. She claimed her name is Victoria "the owner" but I extremely doubt it. As a business owner, I would never speak to a customer is such manner. That food received was undercooked and some was burnt and missing all the ingredients. Do not order from this place or go there to eat. It's horrible!

We needed some Mexican food to comfort us and this place was excellent. Their pupusas are AMAZING and the rice and beans are so flavorful and delicious. I highly recommend it doe some authentic food.

I went for a quick stop at Petco and had the pleasure of trying Karlitas for the first time. Ended up coming here 3 times already since Yesterday the chicken quesadilla is amazing I even put my friends on this spot and they rated as "the best burrito they had in a while" (they don't wanna admit I put them on the best spot in Redwood City) . Bathrooms are clean and the servers are super nice! There are tables outside and also inside sitting if you rather enjoy your Mexican food with music & cool deco instead of watching cars drive by Woodside road! Def will come back every other day

Love this place! They make the be super burrito in Redwood City. Their loaded nachos are excellent too.
