The Best Mango Lassi EVER. Truly- sometimes I just go in and grab 3-4 cups of Mango Lassi and try not to finish an entire one before I get home. They have a good variety of spices and Indian groceries but... damn that house made MANGO LASSI

I love the fact that they carry all the hennas I need since many years. I mean, they have a strong selection of many varieties of hennas and herbal hair products, I don't like buying online, so I'm very happy every time I go there because they really have everything I need. The prices are really reasonable and they try to keep up with freshness and expiration dates (which isn't always easy with products like hennas) they also have a great selection of Ayurvedic products. I never bought food there so I can't say anything about the food but the store is clean and well kept. Thank you and keep up the good job!

STAY AWAY UNLESS YOU WANT EXPIRED FOOD. They have an entire aisle of expired snacks. I bought the snacks (shown in the photo) in June 2022 and I realized once I got home that it was expired in May 2022. Next time when I went to the store I showed the two ladies working register the aisle with expired snacks and asked for my refund, but they refused the refund. They said they will remove expired food from the store. Now it's been two weeks since then and they still have all the expired food there and they are selling it. I have already reported them to California Department of Public Health. So hopefully an official inspection will set them straight.

Stopped by during business in the area. Wanted to grab some Indian snacks. Decided to get a few samosas instead....good move. They were amazing. Shared them with some friends and they loved them. Be sure to stop by and try them sometime. You will not be disappointed.

Kamal Spice House has been my go-to Indian grocery store in San Jose for the past couple of years. It is in a large mall shared by many other businesses so even though there is a large parking lot finding a spot close to the shop is always a challenge but manageable as there are a couple of reserved spots in the front. This is your typical Indian grocery store that carries a lot of Indian spices and ready to eat packaged goods. It also has a decent amount of fresh produce and a hot food station with Indian snacks like samosas, pakoda, wada etc. On the weekends it has a chaat corner where you can get freshly prepared chaat's.Their Indian snacks and chaat are great, they are priced also very reasonably so absolutely no complaints (the samosas tend to become a bit stale late in the evening sitting under the lamp but that is understandable). The grocery section is not on the same level as the chaat section. Lately I've observed that they are not as well stocked as before and that their prices have inched up. Recently I found India Mart another Indian store closer to where I live which is much better stocked so I've started shopping there for my Indian groceries and limit my shopping at Kamal to the chaat section. The chaat section is good but when combined with the average grocery store you end up with an overall above average grade for this place.

I love going here for my samosa and mango lassi fix. I would never leave the store without a brown bag of their hot samosas and either a half liter of mango lassi from their freezer isle. The place is organized and majntained clean. They also got snacks that are spicy good and biscuits. Cadbury Chocolates from the UK. They also have fresh veggies sold in the side and of course multitudes of spices for your indian or curry cravings. So far I enjoy going here and be a familiar customer for this store.
