The service is kind and helpful! I love their frozen dim sum. Dim sum is so expensive these days and Joyful is a delicious and affordable option. The dim sum size is bigger than usual and quality is great! I'm attaching the menu so others can order. I like to call ahead so that they can pack the order ahead of time. My favorites are ha Gow, meatballs and the vegetarian dumpling. I also use a giant steamer and steam frozen dumplings for about 12-15 minutes.

Came here on a Monday around 1:30pm to order take out. There were 2 tables occupied.Got the shui mai, they were big and juicy. Lotus sticky rice, there were 2 of them . They were not bad.I wanted to get the pineapple bun with custard but they ran out so I got the piggy custard buns. The piggy buns were squished and they were also quite soggy! Would not get it again.

Located in Fremont, parking and availability are limited. There's only a few tables indoors and tables for 2 outside. Groups larger than 6 won't be able sit together. The noise level is average. The menu is small but has a good selection. The wait time for the food to be served was quite long (over 30 minutes after placing the order). Tap to pay is accepted. Overall, Joyfully Dimsum Bistro has some amazing food for a great price.

Last time I reviewed this place they had just opened. Now 2 years later, they are doing well, and have added many more items to their menu. They even added gai lan, which was something I suggested in my first review - thank you for listening to your customers. Their baked goods sell out, so I made sure to order in the morning this time. For a small little mom and pop business, they really put out very decent dim sum. There's a few tables inside and outside, but I usually order to-go. Few new items I tried..+ Bake BBQ pork buns - good bun, not a lot of filling, but overall tastes good.+ Sticky rice in lotus leaf - good, sticky, moist texture and good flavor+ Fried chicken wings - surprisingly goodIf you order more than $30 online, you need to show your ID. Had some technical issues, so I just ordered in store. Not a big deal. This is a great option if you crave dim sum but don't want to bother with the crowded large dim sum houses.

This is the spot for some quick & delicious dimsum in the Tri-City area! Great friendly service and the place offers limited indoor & outdoor seating. I usually order to go and enjoy at home! You honestly can't go wrong with anything on the menu - my usual's include har cow, siumai, crispy glutinous puff, baked pork bun, chicken feet, taro puff, and chili oil wontons! Chicken wings are also great and packing flavor, but the portion size is very small! Check this place out if you're looking for some dim sum! You won't regret it!

Just wow. Honestly, we had come to the area to try out the new Japanese place around the corner, but it was closed. So we walked around the corner and found this place. We were happily surprised. It's a small place, but clean and welcoming. The prices are very reasonable. For a group of 3 people, we ended up spending only $40! In terms of food, it has all the typical go-to dim sum options. Everything is cooked fresh which I love. Quality of dim sum was outstanding. Definitely a great find. We will happily be coming back :)

Small restaurant in a corner strip mall I found by searching Yelp. About 8 tables inside and 4-5 out front. Ordering is at counter, call-in or online. It seemed many were picking up call-in or online orders.I opted to order at counter to go. They were super busy and it took about 20 mins. But what came out was pretty delicious and a good value. Dumplings were huge and juicy, cooked well, and piping hot.I would be back if I was heading through that part of town. Their menu includes many other dishes I wasn't able to try but looked amazing, and I would highly recommend for a quick snack or family dinner.

Excellent food, some of the best dim sum I've ever had. The selection is small, but the quality is so good, I'd be happy to eat the same thing again and again. Ordering was a bit odd, but the staff were really good at making it clear. They also were understanding when there was a bit of a spilled drink issue, cleaning it up quickly.

Just had dim sum today at Joyful Dimsum Bistro! We enjoyed char siu sou or BBQ pork baked rolls, shiu mai, steamed pork in black bean sauce, lo pat cuo or pan fried turnip cake, Don tats or custard tarts, glutinous black sesame filled dessert with coconut and peanuts on the outside, lo mai chi, I think? Their light, flakey pastry is something we dream about used in the don tat and BBQ pork rolls. Those are our favs! JDB is a small mom and pop place with big flavors! Free tea as well! Try it, you'll like it! Very few tables, though so come early! Liz & Loren in Fremont, Ca.
