JJ's Burgers

Enjoyed the diner decor and we sat on the stools and ate at the bar. Staff was very friendly and always filled our coffee and water while we waited for our order. We had the Bautista with the omelette chorizo; flavorful and savory and potato hash was nice and crispy.

This place is great, and we found it totally by accident on our way back up to the Bay Area from Pismo. There was a lot of traffic, so we decided to take a lunch/rest break in the area, and this spot was one of the few places nearby that looked good! It's a cute, retro style diner, with good breakfast and burgers. We ordered breakfast and it was a solid, classic meal. I got The OG, which was just eggs, hashbrowns, toast and linguica. But the linguica was amazing, and cooked perfectly. I also really liked whatever seasoning was used on the hashbrowns. No frills, but if you're looking for a solid, hearty meal then this is the place for you! The prices are a little on the higher end, but there isn't much else better around so it makes sense.Service was quick and friendly, couldn't have asked for anything else.

Good burger, decent fries, friendly service but pricey. Stopped for lunch on a weekday and most of the inside tables were full. Had the jalapeño cheeseburger which was ok size and juicy, grilled onions were still pretty raw. The garlic fries were good but could have been crisper. It was $21 for the burger with fries without tax and tip, so not a very reasonably priced lunch for one at all.

It's alright. I order fish and chips. Fries were right on crispy with soft inside . Fish was a little disappointed. Came with 3 pieces. Two were over fried hard as rocks. But the third one was correct. Bulgogi was good but o n the sweet side. Will come back if I craving some bugogi. Not for fish

JJ's burgers has good burgers for a burger joint. Employees are pleasant and helpful. No theming to be found. Plain as they come. Although I liked the food I don't like the astronomical prices. Total $54.37 for two burgers, fries and coke for my wife and I.I understand everything has gone up but this is crazy. I used to go there somewhat regularly when the burgers were $12-13. Unfortunately I believe this was the last time I can frequent this establishment. JJ please reevaluate your pricing. I would love to come back.

Food gets soggy quickly, so eating in the restaurant is preferred. Delicious milkshakes. Diner style atmosphere. No table service; order at the counter.

Note: We did NOT eat here, so this review isn't about the food. We came, we saw, we left. We were seated, given menus, and we asked for water. We were promptly given two bottles of Kirkland purified water. No drinking glasses. Then our server went off to take care of a larger party that arrived the same time we arrived, giving us more than ample time to peruse the menu. The first thing we noticed was the astronomical prices for ALL their hamburgers. All but one or two were over $20. The second thing we noticed was a tiny disclaimer saying that menu prices included a 4% discount for paying in cash. (So that translates to a 4% markup if you came prepared to use a credit card.)We hadn't touched our bottles of water, so we just got up and walked out. Fortunately, other great eateries in town were more reasonable.

22$ for a burger. 7$ for a half order of fries, 10$ for onion rings. These prices were so discouraging we won't be eating here.

In the words of Samuel L Jackson "That is a tasty burger".Indoor + outdoor seating!I have been there twice and the burgers were pretty darn good.

I ordered takeout. My order was ready in about 10 minutes. Very fun and polite service. Great Bacon Cheeseburger with Fries. Very tasty and cooked just right. A little pricey, but worth it!
