walked in on a saturday around 7 pm with 2 friends - we waited ~30 minutes for a table and were able to sit at the bar and look at the menu while waiting, so we were ready to order as soon as we got a table. the ambiance was more casual; i think it was great for just enjoying some good food. we ordered the sizzling bibimbap with spicy pork, chicken jjim (soy garlic), bulgogi quesadilla, boneless fried chicken (soy garlic). we got a little tripped up by all the flavor options, but i think we ended up with a good mix of flavors. the bulgogi quesadilla was unexpectedly good albeit a little sweet, so i wouldn't have too much of it. we were thinking that more kimchi would've made it better. i liked the bibimbap as well, it had good spiciness & flavor, and i liked that the rice was crispy. the chicken was a bit dry/salty, though.overall pretty solid, i don't think i'd go out of my way to come here again but would be down to stop by if i was in the area and wanted good korean food!

Honestly this place probably deserves a 3 star for quality of food but the service was good and the bibimbap was delicious. Thought we might need reservations here but came on a rainy night and it was very quiet. We ordered the Korean fried chicken soy garlic and the bulgogli quesadilla to start and my hubby got the ramen and i got the pork belly bibimbap. The fried chicken was pretty good, nothing amazing but def good. The bulgogli was delicious! Great flavor. My hubby didn't love his ramen (go figure it's mainly a Korean place) but my bibimbap was solid. The meat in particular was rly rly good. I wish they had indicated how big it was and suggested the smaller size but that's ok! I ate most of it.

Was a bit let down by this place.. swung by here on a Saturday around 3 pm and was able to get a table for 6 without wait. We decided to get appetizers to share family style and individual entrees. For the appetizers, we tried:- Okonomiyaki Fries (5/5): Probably my favorite thing out of everything we tried. I liked the bonito flakes and mayo. Fries were similar texture to In-N-Out fries. - Tofu Nugget (1/5): Disappointing. The veggies and tofu didn't really pair well together. They gave a sauce that tasted like worcestershire sauce, which is not really an ideal pairing. - Chicken Karaage (4/5): Decent chicken karaage. Sauce provided pairs well. - Popcorn Salmon (3/5): Comes with a spicy mayo, which I think was the same sauce that the chicken karaage came with. Didn't really feel like the sauce paired as well with the salmon compared to the chicken. For my entree, I got the sizzling bibimbap with bulgolgi. It sure does come sizzling! The rice was nice and crispy... but that was the best part. They really overbuttered the dish to the point where the butter was the dominant flavor. The vegetables chosen were also a bit odd and not traditional bibimbap veggies. I just didn't really feel blown away eating this dish. Service was decent. When they brought out utensils, there was a pair of chopsticks that were dirty.. but they were quick to help us replace it.

SERVICE- located in the Richmond district near Golden Gate Park- street parking only which was not too difficult to find on a Friday evening- ambiance good for a semi casual meal with friends- good service with food that was brought out fast- restroom available insideMENU- Korean Japanese fusion food- vegetarian and vegan options available- average price ($18 per entree)FOOD- veggie spicy tofu stew (8/10): soft tofu simmering a chili broth with veggies and green onions served with a side of rice. This was the better of the two dishes we ordered. It is a comfortingly warming meal perfect for a chilly day. The portion size is a quite generous and can be shared between 1-2 people. - sizzling fried tofu bibimbap (6/10): crispy rice, sautéed veggies, and fried tofu cubes served on a hot plate with a side of spicy pepper sauce. The tofu is so crispy it almost felt like eating croutons. It is a good sized portion to feed 1-2 people. I liked the flavor of the sauce but would have wanted it to be mixed into the dish because the drizzle on top did not fully coat all of the rice and tofu. WOULD I GO BACK?Yes! The flavors were good and the ambiance was casual yet inviting.

Loved this place! Had a lot of the Korean classics but more modern and elevated take on them. If you're looking for like homemade feel, then maybe not. But we overall enjoyed our meal and our fav was the beef short rib and bibimbap

Great service; comforting food on a cold day!The popcorn salmon was unique and a real hit! The chashu in the tonkotsu ramen was slightly tough. Would give this place a 3.75/5.

This was a good spot coming back from north of San Francisco. It wasn't too crowded so we got seated immediately. They had very good hot tea which was great after a cold day. We got the soft tofu stew which was very different than any of the stews I've tried at other places. It had a lot of veggies which was good and the broth tasted different. The portion size was also good. We also tried the tofu nuggets which tasted like a very Japanese influenced dish, it was tasty. Overall a good experience, with many options.

As an asian fusion spot, I'm never really expecting anything spectacular or anything authentic. I came with a friend and we just got a quick bite of food here and I've been meaning to try this place. We started off with the soy garlic KFC and they were good. I liked the crispiness of the chicken and the flavors were good. And thankfully the chicken meat was tender. For my dish I ordered the black garlic ramen. It was okay. The broth was pretty good but you can of course tell the noodles are store-bought so it ain't fresh. The pork belly was a little bit dry so I wasn't too impressed by it. But as long as the soups and egg is good I don't mind it. My friend ordered this sizzling bibimbap and it came out in a stone skillet! Pretty cool to see actually. A very hearty dish and it felt like your normal bibimbap but on a skillet. This is a pretty cool place overall to come try out. Don't come here with high expectations if you're ordering ramen at least. This place gets the job done if you just want something easy and simple.

A very solid and homey Korean restaurant in the Richmond, one of the better Korean restaurants in SF since I think good Korean food is fairly hard to come by here.Grilled Pork Belly - Nothing crazy, but pretty tasty and tender. Overall solid choice for an entree, and the portions were pretty generous. The BBQ sauce they put over was pretty unique, definitely not traditionally Korean in my opinion but pretty cool to try.BBQ Short Ribs - Pretty standard Kalbi dish. Same as above - nothing super crazy or anything but still overall very solid, probably won't get disappointed by this.Overall, it's solid and somewhere that I'd go back to, but didn't blow my mind or anything. If you're craving some Korean / Japanese fusion style dishes, definitely check this spot out!
