In October 2023 I purchased 10 meal vouchers from Jia Jia Kitchen for $130.00. On the back of the vouchers it indicated clearly they will be valid for two years. However, without letting us know, Jia Jia Kitchen changed owners in January 2024 and the new owner only allowed customers to redeem vouchers by 2/29/2024. I still have five unused vouchers that cannot be redeemed. Have you had similar issues?

I've come here twice now to get some bentos to go. I think the service is hit-or-miss: the first time I came here, the server was very nice and explained how it all worked. Last time, the server was a little snarky since there wasn't anyone else to help me and I interrupted her break. The food is decent, though I'd advise you to come earlier since they stop cooking around 5:30 or 6. I've used their meal certificates, and it can be used for the 3 item combo, i.e. rice and 3 dishes with a small side of soup. I think any dish you get here will be decent, like the Chinese food courts at Ranch 99 or Marina Foods. The portions are pretty good, I usually can eat it for two meals. I think this is a decent place if you want to a quick Chinese meal to go.

I stopped by to get some dinner togo or the family after the vegetarian place next door. The guy recommended the spare ribs and it did look good. As we are having the meal, the spare rib smells not fresh. Two of us had terrible diarrhea later that night. The only common food we had was the spare rib. The place is not fresh.

I don't understand all the negative reviews. This is a TAKEOUT Chinese place-- what service are you expecting from them? The place is located inside a small strip mall. It's literally the main building and there's a sign above the entrance that says "jia jia" and only one Chinese restaurant inside so I don't understand how people on here are complaining they can't find it.I always go for their bentos. For about $11 you can get an entree and your choice of two sides. Or if you add another two dollars you can get 3 sides instead. They really stack up the food. They even give you complimentary soup. There's a wide variety to choose from and the food is authentic. Some dishes can be a bit salty and greasy but that's Chinese cuisine for you. I would not hesitate to strongly recommend this place, as I've been coming for years.

The owner lady was very rude. She should understand her costumers are not her children to be taught to, and she just said things very inappropriately. I will not be returning.

This is a little hidden gem. Between an obscure location and changing owners/names, It is a bit hard to find them.Older customers know this plan as Wàn Wàn but now it's called Jia Jia Kitchen/Wonderful Chinese Gourmet. The owner is so friendly and sweet! Food is solid and authentic. You can get a huge 3-entree combo for $29, their Taiwanese beef noodle soup is legit, and there's a large selection of food: hot entrees, veggies, spicy dishes, ready-to-go deli foods and yummy desserts. They take credit card. Free delivery if you spend over $30 too!

1. Came to get to-go bentos for 3 times the past 2-3 years. Gave them chances but still bad service with no improvement. I was ignored and needed to wait for them preparing and packing food for phone orders in order to get a simple greeting. 2. Food was oily and salty. When ordering food, the lady was murmuring something I couldn't understand. Not sure if complaining I took "few seconds" to see what to get. Kinda mean. I paid for food but deserve the attitude? 3. Saw the chef's mask wasn't wore properly during pandemic. Won't come back again. Period.

Interestingly I have lived here for so many years yet this is first time we step foot here. The outside and inside look a little run down but I think the cafeteria style food here is decent. The taste isn't great but I can tell the ingredients is fresher than marina food or 99 ranch. Now that all the Chinese food around area is either such a long wait during weekend, this might be a good choice if you just want a quick bite
