We ordered from grubhub, and the funny thing is they delivered to our neighbor instead of our house. The food was ok, but comparing to other Mexican restaurants was pretty disappointing in my opinion. The shrimp super nachos was exceptionally delicious, with very generous portion of shrimps. The Mole plate was spicy and chicken pieces were very small. The steak fajitas was so tough and not bitable.Overall, not good experience and we probably not order again, or may be just nachos.

Food: sub-par. Refried beans have the same consistency and flavor as canned (they are canned beans)I like onions but wow - they put a lot of onions in the burritos, bring some mouthwash for your breathCarne asada taco for 3.50 is not that good (could be marinated better, check out Al Vapor for better carne asada) Breakfast burritos are all rice (barely any chorizo could be tasted) - also no potatoes for breakfast burritosService: unbelievably slow when it was empty. Took 25 mins for a to go order.All in all - plenty of mexican joints within 10 minutes of here you should probably check out first.

Jayli's is our goto for picking up Mexican food. I am so happy at their kids options. My son loves their taco , rice and beans. We also really like the super tacos. One taco is pretty filling ! They have plenty of seating, though i think most people take the food to go.Give it a try and you will not be disappointed.

This review is strictly for their drinks. My friends and I were looking at agua frecas because we were thirsty and the agua frescas here are homemade and taste really good. We got the mango and horchata and it was so good we came back for their pineapple and their strawberry. We'll be back for their food soon, so I'll let you know!

I got to try Jayli's Cocina and has been on my bookmarks ever since it first opened a few months ago. I absolutely loved my first visit here and this is a great addition to Broadway, Burlingame. This area is one of the top areas to go for lunch during work days and Jayli's Cocina satisfied my Mexican food cravings in a big way. The store is super clean while also being really well furnished and decorated. Definitely enough seating inside. You order at the cashier and the customer service is overall very friendly and helpful.What my table ordered:- Quesadilla with Lengua ($16.50)- Taco Plate with Asada ($12)I got to try the Quesadilla with Lengua and who doesn't love some beef tongue? I hear crickets...but I promise it's really good. They honestly do a great job preparing and cooking their beef tongue. It really gave the Quesadilla a really soft texture while not beng overwhelming in flavor. They give you a really generous amount of food too. The Quesadillas also cost $13.50 if you order other meats that are lets say less exotic like the Asada, Al Pastor, Carnitas, etc. Can't go wrong with any of their options. Quesadillas were also very cheesy and you get a nice cheese pull with each bite.I personally got the Taco Plate with two tacos which I opted for Asada. The cashier will also ask if you want spicy or mild for the sauces for the taco or quesadilla. You can ask for no spicy too. The taco plate is honestly pretty good value for the price with it being $12 for two tacos, Mexican rice, beans, and a small salad. The tortillas for the tacos were amazing. The Asada wasn't overly salty and had a good amount of moisture.It's still early and I haven't gone to Jayli's Cocina multiple times yet, but I have to say this is a great start and I would absolutely return for some authentic Mexican food and street tacos. 10/10 experience overall.

Good fresh Mexican food. This place started as a food truck that was very popular and now they have a very nice restaurant. The fish and shrimp tacos were excellent. The Tlayuda was also very good with three different kinds of beef and pork along with Oaxaca cheese. The green sauce was very good but be warned the red sauce is incredibly hot (and I like spicy!). My only complaint is no complementary chips and salsa with the meal. Next time I want to try to Quesabirrias and the Sopes. Overall very good. Burlingame can sure use more restaurants with good food like this.

I miss Mexican restaurant that was in this space close to a decade ago and served amazing fresh items like squash blossom quesadillas. with intricate handmade sauces, but Jayil's is pretty decent. I would choose to order something different next time as I understand that this restaurant specializes in specialties from Oaxaca. I ordered the Jayil's Burrito, which features shrimp steak and chicken in a super burrito. , I was expecting a ton of protein and a lot of flavor. i remember ordering the " triple threat" from Papalote and sharing the monster stuffed burrito with friends. Surprisingly this burrito was quite rice and bean forward. This was not necessarily bad, as Jayil's rice and black beans are delicious and not overly salty as I find most Mexican restaurant's rice in particular. The shrimp was smaller, bay shrimp and was another prominent ingredient. Cheese was definitely plentiful as well. The burrito was a decent size and filling, but I detected almost no salsa, nor a trace of guacamole. The chicken and beef were very finely diced to the extent that I could not really judge the flavor or either because they were masked by all the other ingredients. A delicious early dinner,and good value for the money at $19 compared to the gargantuan and exorbitant Triple Threat burrito at well over $30. However, even though I loved Jayil's beans and rice, they were too prominently featured. Service was good and the restaurant was spotless. Definitely worth another try.

When I tell you that you need to try this place immediately... do not wait .... Try it right now!! O.M.G. The quesabirria tacos are the BEST that I have ever had. I got a churro as well and you can tell that it was made fresh! I live about 20 mins away and everything was soooo hot when I ate it at home. 10/10. The flavor, the freshness, the price. Yes,yes,yes.

This is our go to spot for a quick meal to go when we are craving tacos! We haven't ever eaten inside but our order is always ready really fast when we order to go and tastes great! I've really liked all the tacos I've gotten and the amount of food you get for the money is a great deal.
