Hole in the wall serving some pretty damn good Korean food! Friend took us here after we landed at SJC and we sorta went crazy ordering for 4, but everything we got was really really good. After much deliberation, we went with Gamjatang, Jokbal, Kimchi Pancake, and Kimchi Fried Rice. The gamjatang was my favorite. The flavors were on point and it's better than many LA spots. The kimchi here is really good and it's nice how they definitely used the aged kimchi for the fried rice and the pancake.A lot of folks here were just hanging out and drinking as well!

We ordered food to go on a Wednesday night at 6 pm. Food would be ready in 25 minutes. It was a small parking lot and a small restaurant with not much ambiance but it was filled with young adult diners. We had the seafood pancake, big, salty, chewy and okay. We also had Goon-Mandu - fried dumplings, not too exciting but crisp, a side of rice which was normal, bulgogi- marinated slices of beef, tasted okay, some fatty parts. Of course, we ordered Yangnyeon tondak- traditional Korean fried chicken with sweet & spicy sauce, half and half. The non sauce chicken pieces was perfectly crisp, cooked thru, and still juicy. The sauced was a bit mushy and good flavor. The pork tofu soup was my favorite. It was spiced just right. It came with a small container of daikon and a small divided container with fresh banchan which were delicious. Overall, good. I think I've had better bulgogi. I would order non sauced kfc. I really liked the tofu soup. I would consider doing take out again.

This is our favorite Korean spot. We're here at least once a month, sometimes once a week. The food is high quality and consistent. Their banchan is always fresh and amaaazing (my favorite banchan out of any other place). Their kimchi is bomb. Service is great and we always look forward to seeing the owners. You can't go wrong here!!

One of my favorite mom n pop shops here in ktown! When you walk in you're immediately hit with a korean pub vibe and it feels homey. I usually come in earlier for dinner as it's not as crowded when you come in later. We always order their kimchi spam fried rice and it's the BEST I've ever had. It's spicy, salty, and delicious, especially when paired with their homemade banchan! I also really like their bbq combos because it's so filling and it's so yummy! We've also tried their army stew and the portion was huge enough to feed 3-4 people. We've had their spicy pork and although the portion is on the smaller side, it's packed with flavor. Everything's great 10/10 would recommend.

I was excited to try out this recommended Korean spot from one of my Korean friends but I'd say I wasn't crazy impressed with it. We got three dishes: the ddeokbokki, the half half fried chicken, and the kalbi short ribs. I did like how they made the sauce for the ddeokbokki for sure, a nice sweet and slightly syrupy gochujang sauce. The only downside there was the rice cakes were slightly on the overcooked side so I wish they had more of a bounce to each bite. For the fried chicken, I'm a big Korean fried chicken fan, but I'd say their fried chicken wasn't anything special. If you want good Korean fried chicken id rather go to BBQ Chicken down the street. Lastly for their kalbi short ribs, it was pretty on par with all the other Korean restaurants that serve it. Nothing spectacular. Definitely worth a try but I probably won't go back often.

A new korean spot that I just discovered! I've gone here twice already and got seated right away. I enjoyed the ambiance at this restaurant (felt authentic and that I transported to Korea). Their banchan is sooo good -- I love the different spice levels / sweetness that was used in them especially the fish cake. The first time I came I had their lemon soju since I've never had that before and it came in a cute little pitcher. You have to like tart to enjoy this! It was refreshing but definitely sour because fresh lemon was used. I've had their tteokbokki with ramen and also with cheese, spicy marinated pork, LA galbi, korean fried chicken, and the dolsot bibimbap. The tteokbokki is so good that I've had it both times. The korean fried chicken was also good (I liked the batter on the chicken). I highly recommend this place for korean food!

I just realized I never wrote a review for this place and I lowkey didn't want to because I wanted to gatekeep because the food is so damn amazing. Their banchan-AMAZING. I have gotten everyone I've taken there has fallen in love with the food. Their spicy stir-fried octopus is the best in the Bay Area to the point where I take the sauce home and use it the next day.

Hole in the wall Korean restaurant with some hearty seafood pancake! I enjoyed the bibimbap as well with perfectly crispy rice. The only letdown was the Korean Fried Chicken's marinade was a little clumpy. Definitely recommend for the BBQ and seafood pancake!

This is honestly one of my favorite Korean places in the South Bay to eat Korean food and grab a drink. In fact, I like to come here for the Korean BBQ-- especially the pork belly. I love thinly sliced pork belly, and they are cut perfectly and I love the texture of the meat. I also like that you can personally grill and eat at your own pace. However, the drawback is that their other dishes are mediocre or sometimes a disappointment. Their soups taste bad (like gamjatang) and I would not recommend. They also don't have a lot of various side dishes. However, I will definitely be coming here whenever I am craving pork belly.
