Can't believe I haven't reviewed Indian Tadka yet! My husband, a true biryani addict, has been searching for "the one" ever since COVID shut down his go-to spot at the Belmont Sports Complex. After countless biryani disappointments, he's finally found his match here--and it's conveniently right next to his favorite market, Hankook. Here's our routine: we drive 30 minutes (yes, just for Hankook), he orders the biryani, we shop for 30-45 minutes, and pick up our food as we're leaving. Timing perfection!Quick tip: they don't open for dinner until 5:30 p.m. Today, we arrived at 4:30 p.m., finished shopping by 5:15 p.m., and ended up waiting in the car until they opened. Totally worth it, though--the biryani was demolished as soon as we got home. No pics this time, but I'm sure we'll be back for more soon!

Good Indian food for a quick dinner stop. Have tried them multiple times. Quality has been consistent with fresh ingredients. Kids like the Manchurian and chowmein. You need to let them know if you want mild food else the spice level is high. They were running some offers earlier on DoorDash which were good and quality was maintained.

We ordered samosas, butter chicken, rice and one piece of garlic naan which came out to be about $30. Pricey, especially since rice does not come with the entrees. Samosas were standard and tasted like how you expect them to, good! We asked for the butter chicken to be made medium spicy but there was no spice at all. It didn't have a pronounced flavor, the flavor was there but very light. I also wasn't a big fan of the chicken pieces, it was tender but I felt like it was sitting in the curry for too long that it almost got the way chicken gets when it's almost overcooked, however it wasn't dry because I think they use chicken thighs in this. I just wasn't a fan but my friend didn't have an issue with it. The rice was standard, as expected. The garlic naan is flaky, had fresh garlic pieces on top and was hot out the oven, we enjoyed this. Service was great, it does get crowded later in the evening but when it's empty it's really quiet and everyone can hear your conversations. I'd give it a 2/5 because of the high prices but the food was edible so I'll give it a 3. Unfortunately will not be coming back since I've had better and for less $$.

This was an amazing meal! Came in around noon on a Friday and was seated right away. Spacious restaurant with many tables available. We ordered the chicken 65, butter chicken, rice, garlic naan, mango lassi and one other chicken dish the waiter recommended but I forgot the name. The food was delicious! Butter chicken was creamy. The chicken 65 was flavorful. Garlic naan was great as well. The mango lassi was very good not too sweet and it paired well with the food. If I am back in the area, I would definitely come revisit this restaurant.

The food was very good , Vijayawada biryani is definitely recommended . Excellent customer service. They honored the BOGO biryani even after grub accidentally took my order after the offer was expired and served me a refreshing drink while I waited for my order . Parking is ample and ambience inside is good .

I am not sure if management or chef changed but quality of the food is now subpar. We got chicken noodles which in addition to being extremely oily, were also flavorless and had a weird aftertaste. The palak paneer was flavorless as well. I am disappointed by the constant changes and lack of quality control.

Came here with a large group of friends on a weekday night. We were able to be seated right away. The parking is ample, but most of the stores next door were closed by the time we arrived (around 7:30/8).We noticed there were other large parties in the restaurant, even one celebrating a birthday with their own cake! The service was quick. There's water already set out on the table for you, although it tasted a bit off. We got mango lassis and our own dishes. I got the spicy dosa. It's huge! I'm a fan of crepes, and eating this was so fun. The spice built up; I could still taste the flavors on my tongue and smell it on my fingers for a while after the meal. The mango lassi was sour, slightly sweet, creamy and mellowed the spice out. My friends got the chicken and lamb on sizzling plates and they smelled heavenly. They had great flavor as well, and came with onions and tomatoes. One of my friends got the chicken biryani and the portion felt like it could be 3 meals, or 2 at least. It was served TOWERING in a bowl so he wasn't sure how to approach it. I'd ask for a separate bowl on the side. The menu is extensive and has great prices. I'd definitely come back!

We got rice, garlic naan, butter chicken, chicken tikka masala and mango lassi. I was wanting some Indian food and it satisfied my craving! The naan was pretty great and butter chicken plus chicken tikka were super yummy. It was perfect with the rice. Really homey vibe kind of place. It was half full and more people were coming in. Very casual, fast dinner with a friend. Mild was spot on for newbies like us. We randomly found this place while looking. Service was nice but we did have to ask for things multiple times. Private lot in front

Fish 65: very flavorful and the fish had the right consistency as in not too dry. Sauce had the right amount of heat for me, but would be good with rice and a yogurt sauce to balance.Chicken Biryani: delicious. Rice was perfectly cooked and chicken was juicy. Definitely their star dish. Garlic Naan: just ok. Not as fluffy as I would like. Butter chicken: disappointing. Spicy and rich without much balanced flavors. Felt heavy but not tasty. Service: the food came out fast. It took awhile to get our order taken and to get the check. Ambiance: very casual and lots of people coming in for takeout orders.

The masala dosa is perfect - I thought it wouldn't be big enough for a whole meal because it's only $9, but it was huge and crispy and came with plenty of potato masala and chutney. The Vijayawada goat biryani and Andhra mutton curry were delicious as well. As other reviews have said, the curries don't come with rice on the side, so keep that in mind! The ambience is a little weird, since they don't seem to heat the place and it doesn't get busy until later in the evening, so it was weirdly cold and empty at 7pm. That being said, the mediocre vibes were not enough to dissuade me from enjoying my delicious dosa.
