Very mediocre. Most of these ratings are from college students. Kinda overpriced and mostly frozen food

Hot Date cheesesteak.$15Hard to screw-up shaved rib-eye, and they didn't. Easy to chew, but not much in terms of serving; and about 1/2 of the 7.4 oz weight was cheese/onions/peppers. Pretty standard flavor/taste.Nacho cheese is sparingly applied directly to the bun. (and nacho cheese, really???)Lots of cherry peppers - yummy. Not many caramelized onions.Bread: JUNK!, zero love here. It was like a stale hot dog bun/roll. For this part of the world and at this price, unacceptable.Service - quick turn around. They were making them and putting them in a warmer. But I got there early enough to were it didn't seem to effect the sandwich.I didn't eat the bread (see note above) and because of a small portion, I was left hungry.Value is not justified.

I've mentioned this tidbit in other reviews and I will say it again: if you are going to be a food truck that specializes in an American classic, whether it's burgers, hot dogs, fries, or in this case, cheesesteaks, you really need to blow me away with your menu if you want to impress me. I sometimes stop by Coterie Winery for their "food truck Friday's" where this truck is present almost once every month. However, I've always managed to miss the Friday when they are there. Because I've been really happy with with all of the other food trucks that go to Coterie Winery, I really wanted to give this place a shot. I saw that they were at the Taylor Street Market at Gordon Biersch and so I went there and tried them out.I got the hot date along with fries. Let me say that they beef was thinly shredded and cooked well so I will definitely give them credit on that detail but beyond that aspect, I really wasn't that impressed. The cheese was like a cheese béchamel sauce, which wasn't that impressive nor the amount that you would expect on a cheesesteak. The only other additions on the sandwich were some caramelized onions and hot peppers. Additionally the only other items on the menu was a cheesesteak with bell peppers and onions and then a cheesesteak with bacon and bell peppers and onions. As someone who has had some decent cheesesteaks (here in the Bay Area mind you, not even in Philly), I really expected much better. I will say that their Korean BBQ Bulgogi cheesesteak, which seems to be their specialty, was sold out. Maybe this item gets them their better reviews.Again, if you are going to be a truck that specializes in one menu item, particularly an American specialty, you need to have some variety with the components of said item or at the very least, you need to blow it out of the park with your item if you are going to keep it simple with components. Unfortunately, this truck did neither.

I have been working at Pacific Shores in Redwood City for almost two years now. Each Tuesdays and Thursdays they have different food trucks. I have tried a handful of them and I Love Cheesesteak is by far my favorite food truck that stops by. To be honest it is the only food truck I actually liked and is the only one I visit when they come around. The cheesesteaks are on the smaller size but the meat is cooked nicely with great flavor and the cheese melts to where it looks picture perfect. They have a couple of different styles of cheesesteaks which is nice if you want to try something a little different. The fries are really good too and make a good pair to the cheesesteaks. This is the real deal but the food itself isn't the only factor in what makes this place great. The customer service is amazing and you can tell that the staff cares about the community everywhere they take the food truck to. I am always greeted with friendly staff and I will continue to be a happy customer as long as the this place keeps blessing the community.

Tried this food truck @Off the grid @sfo. My work colleagues and I decided to try their delicious looking cheese steak sandwiches And the fish&chips from their menu. They allLooks so mouth watering. We opt in ordering from OTG app since there's always a %25 off promotion so that was a plus. When we picked up our orders it was absolutely freshly done and made to your liking. The staff are super friendly and accommodating to our needs. When we sat down to have our meals, we absolutely love it. It was super good! Can't wait to have them again when they return to Off the grid @sfo.

As if the smell alone wasn't enticing enough... I have to tell you that this place is the bees knees. Hands down! Can't imagine my love of cheesesteaks before this place! The food truck stopped by my work location recently and I treated myself to some savory steak fries. A generous helping of crispy, lightly salted, french fries covered in a blanket of marinated and cooked to perfection rib eye, perfectly partnered with grilled onions and just graciously topped with gooey cheese sauce. *drools* If your a fan of carne asada fries, this dish will thoroughly satisfy your taste buds! Sooo much flavor and fresh deliciousness.... The line to order was extremely long.... but I'll tell you what... definitely worth the wait. My coworkers had the hot date and original cheesesteaks... no complaints. No anything, in fact... them eating today, was the quietest they've ever been while in the break-room!! Great service, excellent food, generous portions. You honestly can't go wrong with "I love Cheesesteaks!"

the "I Love Cheesesteak" food turck was at Off the Grid@Alameda, 10/16/21,offerings: "cheesesteak" sandwiches, fries, fish & steak.eats: Phily Cheez (12) came in a hot dog bun, not toasted french roll.-slight taste of cheese whiz, nada onions, 3 jalepeno slices, and a glob of "marinated" ribeye steak. -gone in just a few bites, food ready in minutes.-not a good value, -just a few tables available for dining.

They are delicious!!! Definitely recommend the "hot date" if you like a little spiciness! My hubby likes the "bacon love" (probably because he doesn't have to share with me since I don't eat pork). The fries are also very good too! I saw their menu again and didn't realize they have a steak fries option which I will have to try next time I see them! We've also tried the chicken strips and the battered fish, which the kids love! Something for everyone! And if they have it available, make sure you order the guava lemonade, it was refreshing! Service was quick and the husband-wife duo are awesome! If you see them at an event, don't hesitate to give them a try as you won't be disappointed!

Food was ok . But 16 bucks for a cheesesteak on a small hotdog bun is nuts . When u think cheesesteak u would think good bread to hold the meat lol. This one they use hotdog buns.
