Food was surprisingly good for a place that's hidden in plain sight. I never really paid attention to their parking lot, but it was full and there was a small wait on Saturday afternoon. We really didn't expect much, but were pleasantly surprised. The one thing you should note: THIS PLACE DOESN'T HAVE AIR CONDITIONING or it's minimal. We were sweating and had to leave earlier than we wanted.F O O D- Fried Taro - Tasty, we'd get this again. Perfectly crispy and flaky, with a good amount of taro.- Fried mochi ball with meat (sorry, idk what it's called in English or Canto) - tasty and crispy- Har Gao - not memorable- Food jook roll x2 (idk what this is called either) - my hubby liked it, I didn't have time to try it.- Pan fried chow mein - I didn't think the sauce on this was as tasty as it should've been.- Egg Yolk Bun is more like a custard than lava. There's only a Lava Sesame Seed Bun.- Black Bean Spare Ribs - the one I ate had a large bone on it. I'd give this another chance, but can't comment on the taste much. - Chicken feet x2 - not as black bean-y as I usually like, but had an interesting kick to it. I took it home and finished the sauce with rice. Bill for four people came out to $85 + tip

Hung To Seafood Restaurant is an authentic gem in South San Francisco, serving delicious Cantonese dishes. It's located in a spot with its own private parking lot, so finding a space is hassle-free. While the exterior shows some age, it adds to the charm--letting you know you're about to enjoy some truly amazing food. Inside, it's clean and spacious with plenty of tables and seating, and you can even get a view of the live seafood tanks, which adds to the authenticity.I visited for dinner, where they serve large dishes, though it seems they also offer dim sum during the day. The food was not only delicious but also affordable and came in generous portions. Here are some standouts:Duck and pigeon: These were the best I've ever had--tender, not too fatty, and with perfectly crispy skin. These are absolute must-haves.Winter melon soup: Hearty and flavorful, with enough for multiple servings.Beef with mushroom stir fry, pea sprouts, and cauliflower with squid: All cooked to perfection, packed with flavor.Desserts: The guifa gao and lai wong bao were incredible, especially the soft and flavorful bao buns. The service was also impressive, especially for a Chinese restaurant. Our server was attentive, even changing our plates mid-meal. The chef made frequent appearances in the dining area to greet guests, despite being busy in the kitchen. This is a fantastic spot for gatherings, as I noticed several large groups dining, even later in the evening. I went on a Sunday night and was surprised it wasn't more crowded, given the quality of the food. Highly recommend this place--hope more people discover it!

I would give 5 stars for the food. We've been eating here for more than 20 yrs. My only complaint is the staffs...then don't check on you after they get your orders, the next time you'll see them is when they give you the bill. Would be nice if they get back to you at least once to see if you need anything else. It's always hard to call on someone. They tend to ignore you.

Why automatically include tip for 3 people!? Let us decide! Otherwise food was ok and service slow; constantly had to flag them down for attention to re-fill our water glass.

The restaurant gets busy and fast when the doors open at 11 a.m. You can tell the staff waits around until 11:05 to open the doors. It feels like a typical Chinese restaurant. The one thing that I think I am more bothered by is that its doors to the bathroom are not for seniors with disabilities. The dim sum comes out pretty quickly, and the prices are okay. The taste of the food was comparable to some of the more expensive dim sum places. One of the employees looked a bit annoyed when I asked for extra chopsticks when I asked for them. All in all, it was a pretty average experience.

Lots of Free Parking. Nothing fancy but good food. Service is decent. We've been here several times for dinner. This time we came for Dim Sum lunch with our family during Christmas 2025. My favorite this time were the Egg Tarts. We will be back soon!

Private room with sliding doors is a plus for large party celebrations. My family and I went here for CNY dragon year dinner. They are efficient and all the entrees were great.Westlake beef soup was spot on, cold appetizer combo platter was yum and my favorite was their steamed fish! I also like their fried softtofu with beef They have pork knuckle, which was something different. They serve dim sum here too. Quick and wonderful service.

I enjoyed some of their dim sums while not so much on the others. First, their congee was too thick to my liking and had too much MSG. The fish balls were soggy/mushy and tasted like flour dough. What I enjoyed was their stemmed "cake" and sesame rolls. The rolls truly had hints of black sesame vs. artificial coloring in most restaurants.
