Huckleberry's is that nice cozy place where you can grab breakfast or lunch with friends and chat up a storm. We had a custom omelet, spicy bayou chicken sandwich and monte cristo sandwich. Everything was good. Nothing was tbe best I've had in town but it was decent. However, the place is cute, the service is very friendly and it's one of those places you feel comfortable going back to again and again. Remember, it's only open for breakfast and lunch. It's very family-friendly and they have free facepainting for the kids on the weekends.

As someone who's spent some time in the south and in Louisiana where southern Cajun cooking reigns supreme, this joint does a pretty good job bringing a taste of the bayou to California. Inside they also had decor that was inspired by southern hobbies and culture. Their large menu has someone to fancy everyone's taste and each dish has its southern flair. I'm a sucker for bananas foster so you know I went with their bananas foster platter. I was hesitant about the fried green tomatoes because no one does them better than the South but I must say, despite their small size, they packed a punch. The breading was crunch and light, the sauce for dipping? The perfect compliment. The eggs were perfectly cooked over medium per request. The downfall of the dish? I do wish there were a bit more bananas and pecans and I wanted a bit more of the sweetness and flavors you get from the rum sauce. Also, I asked for sausage instead of bacon, but one strip was a bit chewy and the other was nice and crispy. Aside from that, Hucks lemonade was very delightful and I would return to try some of their other good looking dishes!

A busy breakfast spot in the Camden Area! I've heard of Huckleberry's but didn't know they had one in San Jose. I'm assuming it's a newer spot here. We came in on a busy morning on the weekend. Regardless of how busy it was, the service here was amazing. They sat us down quicker than expected and our waitress was very attentive. The food here was so good! My chicken and waffle sandwich was sweet and savory! The chicken was crispy and the waffles held together and didn't get soggy. The amount of food we got for the price point was worth it! Great experience :)

Service was fantastic and attentive. Only giving it 3 stars just because I'm comparing their brunch items to other similar brunch in the South Bay. We got fried okra and fried green tomatoes. The tomatoes were amazing (as someone who doesn't usually like tomatoes). The okra was good but they give you a large volume so just be prepared for that. The chicken fried steak was okay not bad but not the best I've had. My mom really liked her crab cake Benedict and the pumpkin pancakes were good. Their potatoes tasted bland to me but hashbrowns were good. Eggs overall could have been seasoned more. The ambience was really fun with their decor and booths.

Finally stopped in at Huckleberry's for lunch. When we arrived, the restaurant was almost full. It was mostly large groups of older folks and families. In my mind, that usually signals a place that is budget friendly and serves decent food. The place is cute! It is a converted Armadillo Willy's and they used some of the old decor, but added enough new to make it look fresh. It's very bayou themed and features items that are Cajun or Creole focused. I ordered the chicken tenders, which came with sweet potato fries. The chicken tenders were hand battered and served piping hot. The fries were also hot, though not as crispy as they might have been. My dining partner ordered the California chicken sandwich and sweet potato fries. He said his sandwich was very good and ate all of his fries. We had a slow start to service, but once it started, our order arrived on promptly and our server refilled drinks and came to check on us after our meals were delivered. This was an overall positive dining experience and I would definitely return!

Huckleberry is a new chain restaurant that opened in San Jose serving Cajun inspired Breakfast and Lunch. I loved the ambiance here and at my next visit, I am sure my kids are going to love all the Cajun decor here. I ordered the Cajun Benedict. The hot link has the perfect amount of heat that wasn't overpowering. Instead of English muffin, it was served on a sourdough bread. I wished the county potatoes were crispier on the edges, but that wasn't a big deal. The coffee here tasted great. The service was good, though when we arrived there was nobody to seat us good awhile. It wasn't that busy, but we finally got seated and our server was so nice and sweet.

Came here with my sister and her family for brunch and had a great time! We discovered they opened only 5 months ago but they didn't seem new in the sense that the service flowed well and everything went smooth! The serving sizes are huge so be ready to take food home. Their coffee drinks are also delicious and fancy! Will come back to this location again!

We catered a breakfast buffet through huckleberry's. Working with.Raj was great. We came up with a menu and arranged for delivery to a nearby venue. The food arrived on time and was piping hot. I would've taken pictures, but people dove in immediately. We ordered a tray of vegetarian scramble and meat scramble. Each had eggs, potatoes, and the appropriate add ins. Our order came with biscuits and gravy and muffins. We added on a tray of French toast, which came with butter and syrup. If you request, plates and utensils they can be provided. The price point was good. We have catered at other places for significantly more money. The buffet option is so much nicer than trying to order 20 individual breakfasts.I would highly recommend considering Huckleberry's for a group breakfast or catered event. We ordered for 20 people and there was food left over so the portions are generous.
