Everything was AMAZING! From the food, drinks, service, & ambiance, I'm impressed. It's a cute lil spot to just hangout and eat/work, and the vibes were great. The Gochujang chicken was actually really good. Love a good saucy chicken. It's prob one of my fav dishes followed by the cheeseburger & fries. The burger was so juicy and the fries had a curry? taste to it. Delicious!

Took a friend here for my second visit, and I absolutely love this place. They had a lunar new year special menu, so of course we had to come give it a try. Just like last time, the cocktails were amazing and so unique. The food was so shareable and flavorful:Gochujang Crispy Wings: Veryyyy juicy, but we did wish the flavor had more depth. The ranch was an interesting choice as the sauce but it helped to cut the heaviness of the wings.Duck Fat Fries: My friend absolutely loved these, and I also thought they were delicious. Fried to perfection!Short Rib: not our favorite- just very plain, although the meat was very tender.Prawn Tacos: Add avocado if you get this!! This would be next level if they added a cole slaw but still a solid option to share. The service is always so friendly and quick. It is quite loud inside and the tables are very close, so keep that in mind. Otherwise, one of my favorite bars I've been to in SF :)

Grabbed a drink here with a friend - very cozy intimate atmosphere.I had the low rider which I highly recommend if you like mezcal! There was a bit of a wait when we showed up at 7:30pm on a Saturday but it was totally worth it

Came here with a friend for brunch in late December and really enjoyed dining at Horsefeather during this very quiet time in San Francisco. The atrium was light-filled though it was a rainy day and service was attentive. The food was very good--the double cheeseburger hit the spot and my friend helped me eat my pile of fries. Would love to return for dinner and drinks!

This has got to be one of my favorite places in the city. The cocktails are always so good/creative. And the food is also as amazing! Although I never prefer to sit down towards the back of the restaurant because it can get quite cramped and too loud there, there is never an issue since the staff is very accommodating so it's usually just a few more minutes of wait time for the front patio. Can't wait to come back and try the Gojuchang wings!

Unique craft cocktails and a chill vibe! Took our work team here for drinks prior to our holiday dinner. We arrived on the early side and didn't have an issue getting a spot for our large group. One thing to note they charge 20% gratuity for large groups. Not an issue for us as the service was quick. The parklet was and the heater worked perfectly. When the busses came bye you 100% did feel close to them, maybe some sf ambiance? All who ordered craft cocktails were 100% impressed and the beer/whisky/wine drinkers found a good drink as well. There is a large selection of nice tequila which I will remember for the future.

Everything pictured below is from the happy hour menu except for the gochujang crispy wings ($17). The jalapeño poppers were tasty, but the grilled cheese and the sliders were a bit bland. We got the green goddess drinks which were pretty good too! I would say that the food was quite pricey considering the quality, but the service from the wait staff and the bartenders were good! This place is a great after-work spot to frequent and wind down. Very chill and cozy atmosphere!

Came here after a run for a hearty post run brunch but was disappointed at the experience. We waited a while to have a hostess come to the podium to seat us, though they did seem understaffed. It was extremely dim inside that it was almost hard to see the menus at the back, and a lot of tables were waiting to be cleaned up as we seated. We got the katsu sando and the chicken and waffles, they were both ok, the chicken in the katsu was very over fried and the waffles seemed a bit underdone and nothing special.Overall, it was ok but definitely not someplace I would seek out again.

The drinks here really pack a punch! Compared to other places, the cocktails on the menu are good for people who like strong drinks, which unfortunately are not up my alley. The bartender was very friendly and made us feel right at home. We also tried their addictive duck fat fries that come with a delicious curried ketchup. Perfectly hot, crispy, and just the right amount of salty. Ambience is great for small groups. I would definitely come back to try more of their food items next time.

This might be an unpopular opinion for those who love their SF staples ... I think horsefeather is a level up from beretta, starbelly, Delfina, NOPA, etc. They're all basically the same type of cuisine but where I find the others have dishes that sometimes lack flavor, Horsefeather maintains distinct flavors in every dish. It's always super lively and there's plenty of seating and a full bar. Plenty of options on the menu too. Get the duck fat fries! The roasted cauliflower was another of my favorites. You can skip the pork tacos. The wings were really good (they're saucy, not dry). The smoked tuna tataki had some good complements but the actual tuna tasted chewy - we actually thought it was fake "tuna" at first.
