We hosted our wedding reception at this Chinese restaurant, and it was absolutely wonderful! From start to finish, the staff went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. They were attentive, accommodating, and incredibly professional, which made the day stress-free and enjoyable for everyone. The food was delicious and a highlight of the event. Each dish was flavorful, fresh, and beautifully presented. Our guests couldn't stop raving about the variety and quality of the dishes, from the appetizers to the main courses. The restaurant was also flexible in tailoring the menu to fit our preferences, which was a huge plus. The ambiance was warm and inviting, creating the perfect setting for our celebration. The staff's impeccable service and attention to detail truly elevated the experience, making our special day even more memorable. If you're looking for a venue with amazing food and outstanding service, I highly recommend this restaurant. They helped make our wedding reception everything we dreamed it would be!

Came here with my parents who let me in on a great tip: go early for the discounted menu! They have some interesting dishes that you don't commonly see (e.g., soy sauce duck feet, sticky rice made with three kinds of grains). I wouldn't say it's a top dim sum spot for this area, but if you get the discounted menu it's a pretty good deal! Also of note, there is a super tiny parking lot right next door that is nearly impossible to get into, but there's also a bigger lot half a block away. Even so, parking in the area can be tough!

It was quite busy on a weekday during the lunch hour. Came here primarily for the dim sum and ordered a variety of dishes:- Garlic scallop with vermicelli- Beef stewed noodle- Pan fried turnip cake with XO sauce- Salt & pepper prawns- Mixed mushroom noodle roll- Steamed chive and shrimp dumplings- Sticky rice shrimp dumpling- Pan-fried savory taro bun- Chiu zhou dumplings- Dried Scallop with taro dumplings- Pea shoots dumplingsThe service was very slow. We had to flag someone down to place our order, request a refill on tea, and ask for extra settings and napkins. Our dishes came out one at a time, so we spent a lot of time waiting for our food. Food is average, but I did enjoy the pan fried turnip cake with XO sauce, salt & pepper prawns, dried scallop with taro dumplings, and pea shoots dumplings.

It is a nicely decorated restaurant with a small private parking lot . On weekdays if you dine in before 12 noon , you can order from the special price menu . Good customer service when they give you tea and bring you to a nice table . We arrived at 12:30 pm and it took them a whole 10 minutes before anyone came to take our order . That was odd because we were the only table of new customers. May be they were afraid that we argued with them about the cheaper dim sum price on the lunch menu . There are a lot of Items to choose from . Food temperature is very hot , which is essential to Cantonese cuisine. I have been eating dim sum all over the Bay Area and from many different cities . The taste of the dim sum here is average and not excellent. They look better than how they taste . In Milbrae and South SF there are many choices . This will not be one of my top choices .

Is it Tai Wu? Or Hong Kong Palace? I came here shortly before the Tai Wu name was replaced with the more generic name Hong Kong Palace. No matter the name, this is a solid dim sum spot! Came here for a date for two shortly before the Lunar New Year mad rush, and all the dim sum was delicious. We came in with no reservation, and got seated very quickly. Standard dim sum fare, which you can't go wrong with! Always happy to know where all the good dim sum spots are!

under new management, much improved!I got there a half hour early, they accommodated me immediately with tea, now that's a nig plus!I ordered a bunch of dim sum dishes from the early bird menu as well as the regular menu. The orders came out with surprisingly fast speed. The duck feet in soy was my favorite, I also a bunch of dim sum items like chickie feet, siu mai, tofu wrapped veggies, wood ear dumpling's, the roast duckie is certainly a must, had I known it was that good I would have ordered the whole duckie. One thing that turns me off is when they try to change up traditional recipes like the lotus wrapped sticky rice with "healthier grains", yuck and double yuck, if I wanted healthy, I would simply go to the nearest park and eat grass. This is certainly worth putting in my list of go to for dim sum.

Came here with some friends to have dimsum after attending a meeting. We ordered dimsum, of course, and had other items from the menu. The food was delicious and the service was good. When I saw the pictures from other people's post I thought the place was big, but it turns out it is quite small and a bit tight.Only giving 4 stars because it didn't give me that WOW factor. But I would still recommend this place if you're looking for dimsum in the area.

Be cautious when ordering, as dishes may not be served as described.I've noticed a decline in the food quality since the restaurant opened. The carrots in the turnip cake were old and tough.During my recent visit, I ordered the sautéed taro root cake, but they served us cubed taro cake instead, yet still charged us for the sautéed version. The dish looked different (darker), and I realized they had swapped it out without informing us. We aren't able to eat some ingredients in the taro cake and one of us who ate what you served was having stomach problems afterwards. If you're willing to deceive your customers, be prepared for complaints and potential claims. This kind of behavior is unacceptable, and unfortunately, it's a recurring issue I've seen in Chinese stores.
