Very solid food here. Saturday night, only two other parties were in this pretty large restaurant, so we were seated right away. Not at all unfriendly service, but pretty transactional. The waitresses only came by to bring food and clear plates, never to check in throughout the meal.I was also mildly annoyed when they seated a family right next to us, despite the wide open space, who had a poorly-mannered kid who the parents allowed to roam around the restaurant, yell, and treat multiple pairs of plastic chopsticks like drumsticks on the tabletop. It seemed like at one point, after he dropped chopsticks on the floor, that a waitress finally came over and said something to them under her breath, but I don't know for sure that she told them anything about his behavior. He did seem to instantly calm down and stop the chopstick slamming, so I suspect she may have intervened, but the behavior picked up again after he ate a minimal amount of food. It negatively impacted the experience of eating here. The menu is very extensive. We went with the potstickers (6), half a Peking duck, string beans with chicken, and the beef chow fun. The Peking duck was served with 6 steamed buns, sliced cucumber, and hoisin sauce. Admittedly, I've never been a big fan of duck so this wasn't a dish for me anyway (my husband really wanted to try it), but I didn't care for how hard the skin was. One of the allures of Peking duck is supposed to be the crispy skin, but I felt like this was just hard and difficult to cut with my teeth. I had one bun and let my husband (happily) eat the rest himself.I focused on the rest of the food and was very happy with the meal. The potstickers were stuffed with juicy meat and served with a genuinely spicy chili oil with a great kick. The string beans were still crispy, not mushy, and the chow fun had a generous amount of beef and the noodles weren't overly greasy. Portions are generous here, so we went home with leftovers. With the tip, our total came out to $98. That's a bit pricey, but if we'd stuck with the other dishes and didn't get the Peking duck, it would've been about $25 less. Still a little on the expensive side for two people, but a lot of good food for the price. With so much on the menu still left to try, we'll likely come back.

This was a call-in orderFirst, let me apologize I did not get any photos of the food we ordered. But I will say this I appreciate the way they package the food for a to-go order. We ordered a type of crispy fish. The fish was packaged to keep the fish crispy. The sauce was put on the side.I must admit, I was surprised upon entry, Very bright, and very clean, and Irene was very friendly. Here's what we ordered to go. Rock cod fillet with cream, corn sauce, and a side of steamed rice. To my surprise, Irene provided the steamed rice complementary and offered tea while we waited. PS If you do decide to die in here, keep in mind there is a special offer within Yelp for a complimentary appetizer if you check-in. In short, our order was prepared as expected. It was so good we went back the next day and chose the same dish, the rock cod fish the only difference was we chose the sweet-and-sour sauce with the garlic string beans, yummy with a side of steamed rice.

I frequent this plaza a lot but I did not know there is a Cantonese restaurant. The restaurant is quite spacious and can definitely accommodate big party. It is clean and modern looking, and the manager was also very nice! They have an extensive menu so there is definitely something for everyone. And the cooks are older aunties and uncles, so the food tasted very homey. Diced chicken w/ salty fish tofu clay pot ($18.95) - this was very comforting, however, felt the ginger pieces are too big and thick, so it was heavy on the ginger taste BBQ pork fried rice ($16.95) - a good portion to share. I was expecting bigger BBQ pork pieces but turned out its a smaller cubed pieces of meat, with eggs and green onion Crispy pork knuckle ($19.95) - the skin was very crispy, but the pork meat could have been more tender Deep fried pumpkin with salty egg yolk ($16.95) - this was my first time having this dish! Unfortunately it was overly salty :'( I think the egg yolk is salty already and they might have added more salt to the dish Steamed fish - we got a 2+ lbs fish and it was cooked nicely, delicate fish meat and nice ginger soy sauce. However I felt a little scammed as the server did not tell us the price per pound and it turned out to be $70+Overall, it was not a bad dinner, and most of the dishes are quite affordable. The restaurant is also located in a plaza with shared parking spaces.

I stopped into this restaurant because I saw two ladies hand folding dumplings. That is how you know the place is legit! I had crab Xiao long baos that were affordable and delicious. Each dish from soup to noodles to xlbs were exactly how it should taste. Definitely will come again when I need a place to hit the spot. Portions were all family style.

Authentic Cantonese cuisine with reasonable portion sizes, variety of dishes and affordable prices in the heart of San Leandro. My husband and I had dinner here on a Sunday evening and the place was half empty when we got there but an hour later when we finished, it was fully packed. Parking: huge parking lot shared among multiple businesses. There are plenty of spots so you shouldn't have to worry about parking.Ambiance: modern and clean. It's a medium size restaurant with a good amount of large tables and medium size tables. The space is open and tables were spread apart. It's a prime spot for family dinners and celebrations.Service: excellent for a cantonese restaurant. Ordering to food arrival time was quick and the wait staff was very attentive despite a full house and only 2 wait staff working. I'm impressed. Both waitresses were very friendly and kept a smile on their face at all times. Food: 4/5 overall. We ordered the salt &pepper soft shelled crab, beef cubes & scallops with teriyaki sauce, fish cake with yam leaves in broth, dried scallops mushroom E-fu noodle, and house special clay pot. Our favorite was the beef cubes dish, the sauce was perfect and each beef cube was perfectly cooked, medium rare with a crust on the outside. The yam leaves were fresh and portion size was good. We checked in on Yelp, so our appetizer (soft shelled crab) was $10 off its original price which we agreed was an amazing deal. The only disappointment was the mushroom E-fu noodle, it was a bit saucy and I couldn't find any dried scallops. We will likely not order that again. I think we found another go-to spot to satisfy our Cantonese food cravings. We will be back soon to try other stuff on their menu.

Unfortunately, dining in was a different experience. Service was not great. We (party of 4 walked in and the person we talked to just wave at a generic area gesturing for us to go. We went and sat down on one of the table for 4 with cushioned chairs. Then someone else came and told us not to sit there. She then changed us to a table with plastic chairs. Like, it's fine but if you wanted people to sit at a specific spot, maybe tell them. Ordering was fine, but after 3 dishes were brought out, we waited a long time for the last dish. I'm talking about a 20-30 minute wait after the first 3 dishes came out. When we asked our waiter about it, he just responded with "I know". Food was fine. It's better to just order take out though.

Enjoyed their middle priced set Lunar New Year meal there. Every dish was plentiful and tasty. Service was excellent, water glasses refilled and clean plates replaced as needed. Ruby was very friendly, efficient and flexible to allow 2 slight modifications to the menu and also took our group picture. We'll definitely return her for our next family get together.
