**Note: This is not actually a Homeroom restaurant. This is a ghost kitchen called Local Food Hall that serves some Homeroom entrees that can be ordered through the Local Food Hall website or through DoorDash, GrubHub, etc. It is located at Suite 109 and there is no obvious signage out front.**We ordered three Garlicky Bacon Macs ($15.99) through the Local Food Hall website for pickup. We arrived at the pickup time (noon) but our order had not been started yet. Once the kitchen worker started on our order, he told us that there was only one Garlicky Bacon Mac available. He gave us a few options to either get a replacement or refund, and we ended up choosing to replace two of the orders with the Gilroy Garlic Mac (which is the same thing but without bacon, $13.50). I received a call from the manager who said I would receive a reimbursement since the replacement items cost less than our original order. However, after four days I still have not received the reimbursement and the original payment has gone through. I think their ordering and notification system should be updated to account for these types of situations, as we ordered close to the opening time (11am) and there was no indication that part of our order would be unavailable.For the food itself, the taste of the dishes matches that of the original Homeroom location - the macs were creamy, rich, and perfectly garlicky! However, the texture of the pasta was not as tender in the bacon mac since there was less sauce. I believe this difference in texture to the original location may also be because this location does not cook the food from scratch. We could see the employee pulling out ingredients from the fridge and simply assembling and heating them.Overall, I was not super impressed with the Local Food Hall system and how they handled my order. If they are able to improve on that though, I would definitely come back for a mac and cheese craving due to the location's proximity and convenience.(if you read through this entire thing you deserve a bowl of bacon mac!)

I've been wanting to visit this place for awhile now & it definitely didn't disappoint! I wanted to try some of everything on the menu. I def recommend The Mexican Chorizo Mac but honestly everything I ordered was very good.

So glad there's a location to get Homeroom mac and cheese in the south bay! I missed getting it in Oakland, but couldn't go as often as I would like, since it's far from me. The menu at this location is limited though, and it's kind of hard to find, as there is no sign in front (yet)
