Himalayan Chef Kitchen

Walked in following the scent of tikka masala, which I ordered to go, also chicken biryani was lovely, The chef showed me around the restaurant and kitchen where they prepare catered lunches. Completed for the day. The aroma was wonderful. Then offered me chai and a seat while order was prepared. Young couple own and operate this restaurant in Newark Place shopping center. Will return as the flavors were wonderful.Can order ahead.

I always get food to go here so review is solely on that experience. Every single time the people here are extremely nice and polite. Food is always ready and I usually order their chicken momo. They are super tasty and their achar (chutney) is very flavorful and spice to my liking. Place looks clean and nice to pick up food from.

Based on all the reviews, I had higher expectations. At first glance, I wasn't even sure this place was open when I walked in because everything looked empty. In addition, we tried to come here before during their normal business hours and they were closed. Even though this place was empty, we decided to still give it a try.We ordered crispy potatoes, shrimp noodles, a tofu curry dish, and garlic naan. The crispy potatoes looked nothing like the picture I had seen on Yelp and they were not crispy. They were soft and heavily sauced. The shrimp noodles were okay, a bit overcooked and slightly on the bland side. I actually liked the dish my husband ordered, the tofu curry. It had good flavoring. Everything was serviced on to-go plates, so if you don't finish, they just give you lids and you take them with you.The waitstaff/cashier was very friendly. She repeatedly asked us if we needed anything. The chef even came out to see how we liked the food. Customer service was good!Parking was easy, prices were a bit pricey for the lack of atmosphere and food quality.

I discovered this restaurant through yelp. It is a tiny hole-in-the-wall place with less than 10 tables. They are used to catering to offices and a to-go place.Incredible Food - the flavors of are unique and delicious. Food is medium spicy.Service is fantastic - I got good recommendations - Salmon Curry, Chicken Momo, Veg Fried Rice, Paneer Masala Curry and Garlic Naan.After the meal, even the chef came out to meet us. It is awesome to meet a friendly Fremont family owned establishment. I would strongly recommend trying this out.

That lunchtime conundrum: where to buy lunch that we haven't already eaten SO many times...? Checked what's local on Yelp & Momo's caught my eye.Easy to order online, easy to find parking, service was super duper friendly & of course most importantly, food was delicious. We also had enough leftover to enjoy dinner as well. Both veggie & chicken Momo's were delicious, nicely seasoned- 2 ample containers of sauce included. Quinoa and tofu salad was something I ordered purely tryna be healthy- but it was fresh & tasty we definitely will order again.Also got chicken noodle dish- mild box we're wimpy- great seasonings & chunks of chicken & veg. Didn't get pics of everything coz we were scarfing it down & also doesn't look so pretty in take out containers. Satisfied! We'll b back.

Its hard for me to find a good South Asian spot. We tried this place based off yelp reviews. We walked in and no one was there we werent sure if they allowed people to dine it. Anyways this place is family owned and they were very nice and attentive. Everything came out hot and fresh. We tried the...the chicken momo 3/5Chicken tikka masala 4.5/5Garlic naan 5/5Chicken choila 3/5Thupka 4/5Roti 3.5/5Every-time I try new things on a menu the chicken tikka and garlic naan have always been my favorites. Therefore these ratings dont mean the food was bad just my preferences.

Note: This restaurant is primarily set up for take out and delivery We wandered into an empty restaurant but that was because they do mostly take out. Don't be fooled, this place is AMAZING!We ordered vegan momo, vegan tofu thupka, and healthy salad quinoa bowl. Everything was delicious! I think the most outstanding dish would be the vegan tofu thupka. This was a comforting noodle soup with spicy, savory broth. Not only was this a total flavor bomb, it soup itself was loaded with colorful veggies. The veggie to tofu to noodle ratio was really even. So good!I'm definitely coming back for the thupka again!

Vegan Mushroom and Cauliflower Peas Curry & Vegan Momo Super flavorful!The warmth from the spices is what gets you full without being over-the-top full!

The place is small but clean and the customer service is FANTASTIC! We had our piping hot order in just minutes after ordering. The chef himself came out to ask how the food was. We ordered the chicken tikka masala, shrimp fried rice, chicken chilli momos and the regular chicken momos. All great! I'd come back again! And I definitely recommend the chicken tikka masala, the flavors were on point!!!

It was our first time going there and everything was delicious! We tried out the chicken and vegetarian momo. The staff was so friendly and welcome.Planning to come back :)
