High Tide Restaurant Cafe and Creperie

Great service, great food, great people. A great alternative when roasters has a line. Better yet... a great choice before you go to roasters. Ya feel me?

Quality is not the same now as my review from 2011. I hear they changed owners since we moved from Pacifica. Certainly not worth the price--portions were half what they used to be and the crepe had a strange sauce (tomato-garlicky) that I didn't care for. That being said, I hope they do well; the restaurant business is tough but to be fair the food here is not what it used to be. Side note: Last fall, I was in London for a quick trip; on every block there was a Turkish breakfast place!--the food was cheap(er) AND plentiful, healthy and delicious. I am dreaming aloud now--what if this would become a trend in the Bay Area. Not every place needs to be a creperie.

High Tide definitely feels like a place that either only locals go to or if you are already here in Pacifica visiting the beach. My fiancée and I went on a Saturday afternoon looking forward to find a brunch spot since we are never really in the area.Order at the front and you can walk towards the back to a nice outdoor seating area with heaters. We got the breakfast burrito and chef's crepe. Waited probably 10-15 minutes and the food was already on our table, so not bad for the wait time. Food wise, everything tasted just average. The breakfast burrito seemed a bit wet and had a sweet taste probably from the sliced ham. I couldn't figure out what it exactly was, but it tasted like an "at-home" burrito, something you could make yourself. The chef's crepe looked unique as I have never seen a corned beef hash crepe combo. My favorite type of corned beef is actually the one from the can, so that is my baseline. Theirs's was mashed/ground up similar, but I could taste some dried rosemary or thyme which threw me off. Pricing for both after tax and tip was almost $45.00. A bit pricey compared to other places.

We came here today and ordered the pesto sandwhich w/fries. They were kind enough to ask if we wanted seperate plates. This spot is cute, and i like their outdoor seating area with heat lamps. HOWEVER - towards the end of the meal we just noticed that one of our plates had a curly hair on the fries. See attached. We told the employee and he asked if we wanted anything. I didn't want to be a karen, but just wanted to mention. Too bad we wanted to come back here and try other things. But they just lost our business

The food here was served quick and delicious. The staff is friendly and helps you if you don't know what to order. The ambiance is casual and modern. Would recommend

We stopped at High Tide Restaurant Cafe this past weekend during our drive back to SF. The restaurant is average and the customer service was decent, although a little cold. The menu has a bunch of different options. They have seating inside and outdoor tables in the back. We ordered a strawberry banana crepe to share and the order was pretty good, but not much to rave about. Possibly worth visiting if you're in the area & in the mood for a crepe.

My husband and I popped in here before our drive home and it was great! Service was friendly & quick + food really hit the spot. We both got strawberry banana Nutella crepes. He got the breakfast sandwich and I just had a scrambled egg + bacon on the side. We would definitely come back when in town :)

It's aight I'd give it 3.5 stars. The place itself isn't the fanciest of places, decor isn't crazy over the top it's definitely a little older. The do have a really big TV inside though. Foodwise the food was just ok, I got a crepe that wasn't bad but if you're expecting food portions like the Crepevine in Burlingame this isn't what you're getting. Not bad portion wise for the Pacifica/HMB area though, don't get me wrong. Service was decent, you order at the counter and they bring your food to your table but that's about it you don't have a designated server or anything.

Excellent food, many choices of eggs, crepes, sandwiches and more. I had a wonderful chicken pesto cheese sandwich w salad. I also love the egg dishes.The have good coffee, espresso and fast service. The back patio is lovely and covered so foggy days or misty rain is no big deal. The murals make all the walls lively and interesting- very inviting. Fun place for groups.

This cafe is a great choice for me simply because of all of the options. If you feel like breakfast, lunch, or dinner, they got it covered. The breakfast options are great, comes in large portions, and is cooked well. There is a back patio to sit in, an inside area, and a few tables outside in front, so there is almost always a place to sit. It gets a little spotty when it comes to service. You take a number to your table and then they bring the food and drinks to you. With this style of service you can easily get forgotten. They may never come refill your water, and used tables can get left unwiped or uncleaned. There are bussing tubs out back, so sometimes customers will put their own dishes in those tubs. So essentially we bus our own tables, and have to ask for refills, or more napkins, or anything like that. They're not really smiley welcoming staff, which is kind of a bummer since it's essentially a brunch place (yes they service champagne). The prices are also high, so I would like to get more table service since we're paying high prices like a place that has waiters. They're dependable and the food is good. I even ordered a cappuccino and it was excellent. It does is purpose, but still has room for improvement.
