High & Mighty Pizza Joint

I was in town for work and wanted to have a yummy solo meal. I landed on this spot through yelp. The ambiance was nice! It was casual, very open. You go to the front to order, grab a number then have a seat. They bring you the pizza to your table or you're dining in. I opted for a half and half pizza. I believe it was the 3 Cheese with Mushroom and Pepperoni with Pineapple. Got a bottle of root beer to wash it all down.I was sitting down at a table waiting for my food. Felt like forever.. then the sever brought the pizza to my table. He first apologized for the wait, let me know it was a little burnt and since that's not the standard they were already making me a new pizza but that I could have this one any way. What service!? Honestly best customer service I've had in forever. The initiative they took was greatly appreciated and I'll be back!Not to mention, when I finally got my pizza!? It was so goood that I demolished the whole thing. LOL. I boxed up the "burnt" one and took it home with me. While that was definitely up more burnt on the crust, the pizza was still good the next day!I highly recommend this spot the next time you're in Gilroy! :)

I'm a pizza snob, probably my favorite food. I know style is subjective. this is my "when I am at home" go-to pizza now and I live in Morgan Hill. I find it worth the drive.Their dough is solid, their pizzas come out tasty with a good chew--my style. My only complaints: 1. need to figure out the cook, it seems to get too hot on top (slightly burnt crust on top and slightly overcooked toppings) and not hot enough for the bottom of the dough (3 of my 5 pizzas so far were undercooked on the bottom, at least for me). I am not sure if it's an oven thing (portable trailer rather than permanent stone oven) or a chef thing. 2. awkward walk-up and order then find seat process due to the bar up front...just made things a little chaotic. May want to try full service or find a different layout for the order taking.Those aren't as major as they might seem from my post...the pizza is overall very good and the place has a good vibe going on inside as well.Each of these are half-star and quarter-star issues for me, easily could improve to a 4.5 star/5 star review and if not, I am still very happy with the pizza!

Cute pizza joint for friends and family with a variety of beer and wine available to order. Staff are warm and welcoming and have fast service! The pizzas are so good! But their bbq is amazing as well, I wish we could've ordered that separately as a plate! Prices are a little bit more high, but you definitely get what you pay for in quality. I would visit again to try other things :)

Ordered a pizza to go this evening. Pepperoni, mushrooms, fresh tomatoes. It was pretty good. Probably would have been better in restaurant. But I will give it another try. Love the crust. Light and airy.

Pizza was very good. Service was friendly and quick. The beers on tap were solid. It was not too busy. If you have not been here give it a try.

We had an amazing time going to this place! Hubby and I were just randomly looking on Yelp and came across this place that we thought looked really cute! The parking was pretty good and spacious as there wasn't too many cars on a Sunday night. We walked in and was greeted with such vibrancy and life. The staff was so sweet and really did make us feel at home (as they said "mi casa is su casa"). We sat down and we didn't wait long at all. The food was also really good, we got the BBQ Chicken with a root beer and it really hit the spot! Kind of reminds me of base camp pizza from Lake Tahoe (if that place is still around). Anyways, we would definitely come back and bring some friends. The atmosphere and location is amazing, and the decor was super cute! Definitely feel like a comedy show can happen there sometime soon (hubby and I love comedy shows so it would definitely be a bonus!).

Friendly staff, great selection on beers and local wines. Pizza was delicious! The ambiance was a 10. Highly recommend.

Pizza came out fast. Very good! Feel this place will be famous soon enough! I do like the set up. Seems like there is a little stage there.

The place has a very nice vibe and the people who work there are friendly however the pizza was sorely lacking. The crust was paper thin, and I like a thin crust but this was see-through thin. The sauce, which there wasn't much of, lacked seasoning and the cheese was nonexistent on a couple slices. All in all not great.
