My bf and I came by for brunch on Sunday and there was no wait. The restaurant itself is very spacious inside, offers outdoor seating, and gives off diner vibes.Service: 5/5Our waitress was friendly, efficient, and attentive. She was also very polite-- I think we exchanged "Thank you" like 20x lol.Ambiance: 5/5This is a very casual and family friendly restaurant yet still respectful of noises inside.Food: 4/5Good portions here! One item can definitely be shared between 2 people.Oreo pancake - This was a cheat dish lol. Loved the Oreo crumbles but the pancakes were a bit dry inside.Chicken apple sausage omelette - I forgot to tell them to omit cheese inside T_T a bit too oily for my liking and there were more mushrooms and tomatoes than actual chicken apple sausages. Western hash - Bf liked this. He said there was a generous amount of meat (ground beef) and a lot of flavor.Overall, would recommend and come back to try their different items on the menu.

Tried Hashes & Brews for a weekday lunch. It was decently busy when we went in, but our party of 5 was seated without any wait. I got the chicken fried steak with hash browns and eggs over medium and a chavela to wash everything down. The chicken fried steak was solid, crispy batter on the outside and seasoned beef patty on the inside. The gravy was okay, a little rosemary heavy for my liking but pretty bland otherwise. The biscuits were soft, but I think they would have been better if they were a little drier so it could hold up to the gravy. The food quality was about what I expect at a diner, with large portions and reasonable prices. Service was good, our waitress was friendly and attentive. Nothing extraordinary, but will get the job done if you need a quick spot for brunch.

I've been going here for years. Especially during covid, it was usually takeout. This time around, I brought my parents who had never eaten here before. They liked the ambiance of the place and the service. My dad loved how fast the servers kept coming back to refill their coffees. They really liked the coffee as well. It wasn't too busy when we arrived but you can see people slowly coming in. I thought it was pretty busy for a Friday morning. I know on the weekends they are usually packed and people areevem eating outside. We ordered:1. Crab cake eggs benedict with county potatoes - My mom enjoyed this. She said the crab cake benedict was delicious and that the country potatoes were perfectly cooked and seasoned.2. Cornbeef hash and eggs - This is exactly what I was looking for. No frills, cornbeef hash. I used to order the Irish hash because I thought that was the only option as far as cornbeef. Everything was perfectly cooked.3. Sausage and eggs - my dad said sausage was delicious, but to him, it was a little under cooked. He wanted it browned all around, not just the 2 sides.4. Fresh squeezed orange juice - Sweet and satisfying. Not overly pulpy.

This place is great! I've been here many time and each time seems better than the last. This time I went a little out my comfort zone and got the chorizo scramble. No regrets! It was delicious and definitely can be shared, the portions are huge. My favorite part was definitely the h&b potatoes! Delicious and full of flavor. It was my brother's birthday and staff was nice enough to sing happy birthday to him (the whole restaurant chimed in lol) and they gave him a free scoop of vanilla bean ice with a lit candle. It was such an enjoyable breakfast with the family. Thank you H&B staff! Will definitely be back for more delicious food.

First time. Located at the corner of the shopping Center, easy to find. First time here- beautiful place inside, nice colors, welcoming, modern. Has an outdoor pretty patio area too. Friendly fast service, but not rushed. Loved the food, many breakfast choices. Bread Pudding French toast may make you cry with tears of joy! Sweet, hot, tasty- yum! Many other breakfast- 4 egg omelets, variety of hash brown combos - I loved the Western. Hash, comes with fruit and a biscuit. Happy Hour in the afternoon, Dinner menu after that. Several large TVs in the bar area, that seems a world away during breakfast. Really nice experience, our waitress checked on us, delicious coffee always full.

I come here, because my friends enjoy this place. Me myself, I believe it is an average breakfast eatery, so far. I haven't been here for lunch. I've come here three times so far and I haven't been completely happy with the food. I'm not saying the food is bad, but maybe they should concentrate more on the food, than the hash and brews. This last time I enjoyed my breakfast more, because I had a Mexican coffee, which had Kahlúa, tequila and coffee. It's a happy maker, prior to breakfast. I am only judging them right now on the breakfast and do plan to come in for lunch. The establishment is nice and well decorated. Also, the service is friendly and attentive, though it's been empty in the mornings, when we've come. If you're close in the area and want to grab some thing to eat, hit the spot up. Is it a go to, for me, It's a no.

Casual breakfast spot with Some of their standout dishes including the corned beef hash, Nutella waffles, and chicken & waffles. The atmosphere is welcoming, and it's a great place for breakfast or brunch. Popular menu items like their Irish hash and fried chicken sandwiches are consistently flavorful. Though the food quality is generally good, some customers feel a few dishes could use more seasoning. Overall, it's a solid option for comfort food and friendly service .

It's kind of sad to see Hashes & Brews basically be a shell of its former self. Pros are that the food is good, but the cons were the service in my most recent visit which was surprising with how sad the whole environment was. My party wasn't greeted and everyone seemed like they didn't want to be there and were not attentive. Not one person said thank you or was welcoming. Overall disappointing service and there was no energy from the staff whatsoever.Food wise its decent. I ordered the Mexican Hash ($16.95). The portion is huge and the over easy egg was cooked perfectly and runny without a single yolk being solid. It was loaded with jalapeños, chorizo, and potatoes. It's a very filling meal and the biscuit was also pretty moist and tasty until I bit an end piece that was rock hard. Parking is easy and the restaurant was mostly empty. I probably wouldn't be back because the service was very unfriendly which is disappointing because I think their food quality is good enough to come back for.

This used to be a good Pasta Pomodoro location. I miss Pasta Pomodoro. Hashes & Brews was empty at 11am on a Tuesday morning with one other table occupied. We had the chicken fried steak $20, Irish hash $18 with a Stella $8 and Shock Top beer $7. The food tasted OK. The chicken fried steak needed more flavor. The gravy was close to tasteless. The gravy recipe needs improvement. The eggs and hash browns were cooked correctly. As for the Irish hash, there are better places for this on El Camino Real. I would say, the chef made a good attempt here. Service was excellent.

There was a wait on a busy Sunday late morning, but it wasn't long. He ordered the Maserati omelet, & a short stack, I had the chicken & waffles. I think when I go back, I'll have an omelet, that was much tastier than my chicken & waffle dish which was just ok. Generous portions for everything & service from Miguel was very pleasant. Prices run about $18/entree.
