I wanted to get some breakfast and my bf found this spot that was known as a good local brunch in the area. We came in on a Saturday afternoon, got onto the waitlist and it was about a 25 minute wait, which wasn't too bad. There's outdoor and indoor seating, but we chose to do the one that opened up first. I got a veggie scramble and he got the frittata supreme? He also got the coffee that had alcohol in it and he thought it was pretty good. Both our dishes were really yummy; the biscuit was soft and the hash browns crispy. The only issue I had was that it was difficult to find parking. I think it was just street parking and we ended up parking in a small residential area by the restaurant.

Harbor Cafe is a solid spot for a quick and affordable breakfast, but with a little twist of the usual "be prepared to wait" reality that comes with popular places. I popped in for a breakfast burrito and a coffee, and overall, I was pretty impressed with the experience!First off, the **breakfast burrito** was a great deal at $13--big portion, lots of fillings, and packed with flavor. It had everything you'd want in a solid breakfast burrito: scrambled eggs, bacon, cheese, and a perfectly seasoned mix of veggies. While not the most innovative burrito I've ever had, it was definitely satisfying and hit the spot. They don't skimp on ingredients, which is always a plus! The **coffee** was solid too--nothing fancy, but it had a nice, smooth taste that helped wake me up and paired perfectly with the burrito. They offer refills, so it's a good place to hang out if you're a coffee enthusiast. While the food came out *super fast* (love that), be aware that the **wait time** to get a table can be quite long--like, we're talking 45 minutes. The cafe was packed, and it's a pretty small space, so it's a bit of a squeeze. Definitely plan accordingly and maybe come a little early to beat the rush or expect to wait if it's a busy weekend. That said, the price is right, the food is tasty, and the vibe is relaxed and welcoming. Harbor Cafe is a great go-to for a satisfying breakfast or brunch when you're in the mood for something quick and affordable, but just be prepared to wait a bit! Still, it's worth it for the food and the chill atmosphere. I'll definitely be back!

I love this place. Expect a wait but it's definitely worth it! You can order drinks while you wait.I have been a few times and the food is consistently good. I recommend the Cali Benedict, fresh fruit, chicken and waffles, kitchen coffee, pomegranate mimosa. The bacon bomb is dangerous -- in the best way. I'm pretty sure anything you order will not disappoint. Servers are attentive and friendly. If seated outside, they do have heaters and umbrellas for the tables. Also dog friendly.

Had a chance to try Harbor Cafe and this was truly a nice experience. We came here for brunch on a Saturday morning and this place was packed with people. Thankfully I was able to quickly put my name down on the table and was seated within 20 minutes outside. The ambiance was cute and there was an outside heater and some trees around which made it cuteThe service here was awesome and I felt the person helping really paid attention to make sure we had our best time here! For food we got:* Breakfast burrito with carnitas - this was delicious and absolutely loved every bite. I love how the meat was seasoned and that all the ingredients were mixed up together so every bite was an amazing explosion of flavor. The salsa was also top notch*Nutella French toast with strawberries - this is a yummy delicious dish packed with a chocolatey gooey flavor. Every bite was awesome and we were able to take some home to eat the next day!Overall, great experience at Harbor!

Great service during a holiday weekend. The operations were quick and efficient in getting a table, our meal, and check-ins. Our waitress was great. The food is well proportioned and tasty. We ordered the Cali Benedict, which was a Benedict on top of avocados, bacon, and croissant. We also got a Carnitas Omelet and an order of pancakes. The hashborn is a must have if you are a fan, one of the best i have ever tried. Everything was excellent, flavorful, and filling. Highly recommend for a brunch spot.

We didn't think a brunch place could stand out for us, but this place did. First they have a dog friendly patio with heaters, it started to naturally warm up as the sun moved over our table. I ordered the cali Benedict and never thought I would enjoy a croissant in my Benedict so much! My boyfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed this item. My boyfriend ordered a half order of biscuits and gravy with a side of hash browns and he was overly filled with this amount of food! There was a line when we arrived at 9 am (opening) but it moved fairly quickly, and our server was very kind!

We waited for around 20 minutes when we got there at around 1pm on a Saturday, this place is really popular so expect a line if you go earlier during breakfast hours. We got to seat outside at the corner, I really like how they decorated the restaurant, cute and classic. We ordered three dishes for two people - Frittata supreme, pancake with berries, and meaty omelette. The pancake was fluffy as expected, I personally prefer the meat omelette the most, the flavor was just about right, and the potato hash brown was nicely grilled. All the staff and servers we encountered were very nice, many people brought their dogs and overall it's a very nice brunch place that we would visit again and again whenever we drive down to the Santa Cruz area!

Hands down one of the best breakfast places I have ever visited. It's very casual, beach aesthetic, and just plain fun. The place has an energetic vibe. There's both an indoor seating area and a large outdoor one as well. Both have bars. No reservations, so first come, first serve. I came on two busy weekend mornings and didn't wait long at all (at the most 5-10 minutes). They turn tables quickly. The menu has plentiful choices for both breakfast or lunch. For my first breakfast, I had the frittata. At first, it looked a little burned on top, but it was actually nicely charred a bit and ever so good. There are slices of avacado on top. It was chocked full of cheese. It came with some salsa and sour cream. Oh my goodness, I was in breakfast heaven and was so stuffed I couldn't finish the enormous portion. That's unheard of for me as I always clean the plate. It came with a scrumptious biscuit, flakey and perfectly made. On the other morning, I got the Nutella French Toast with strawberries on top. Do not miss this wonderful breakfast treat! It is exceptional. With maple syrup... YUM! I got a side order of Chicken Apple Sausage with it.Both mornings, I had orange juice, which was fresh and a great compliment to the meal.Prices might seem a bit high, but the quality and portions add to the value to justify it.What was amazing was the level of service. These folks truly have their act together, and although they scurry about they always are pleasant, smile, and professional. Kudos. If you're ever in the area, be sure to stop here. You'll be glad you did.

We had to wait 45 minutes... but it was worth the wait! We had a couple of drinks, mimosas and a vodka drink to help soften the blow of waiting. We ordered the chicken fried steak and a side of pancake. So amazing!! We did not leave disappointed! Thank you so much!

I was very impressed by the overall dining experience in this restaurant. Yelp reviews never disappoint. SERVICE: This is my first time dining in and the staff were very friendly wearing their beautiful smiles. My server Christy was very accommodating and helpful. She was always checking on me if I needed anything. FOOD: they have big servings and definitely can be shared except if you are coming in with a hungry tummy. They serve the best pancakes! It's very rare that you can find a restaurant that serves the very good pancakes. It was made fresh and I would describe the texture to be chewy and soft. The Carnitas omelette and hash brown were also a hit! Highly recommended for anyone who is looking for best breakfast place in Capitola.
