I had an amazing experience at H & K Peninsula! The dim sum was absolutely delicious, fresh, and full of authentic flavors. The variety of dishes was impressive, and everything I tried--from the shrimp dumplings to the crab shrimp congee--was perfect. The service was top-notch; Alex was attentive and made sure everything was brought out promptly. I ordered everything for myself, and the portions were so generous that I was completely full--I even had to skip dinner! And the best part? The price was surprisingly cheap for the quality and amount of food I got.If you're looking for a fantastic dim sum spot in San Francisco that won't break the bank, this is the place to go. I'll definitely be coming back for more! Highly recommended!

The food we ordered for dinner was very good, with attentive service. The music playing in the restaurant could have been turned down, as the music became annoying after awhile. I recommended this place to friends, so they came for the dim sum. They were very disappointed with the food and service. It took 3 requests before they finally brought them a drink. They could not say that any of their dim sum orders were good, which surprised me, as my dinner was very good. We plan to go back sometime. The place was pretty empty for dinner, probably because they are newly opened and their prices are higher than comparable restaurants. Their paper dinner menu that you use to check off your choices is confusing because the boxes that you're supposed to check off are not aligned properly, and you could easily order the wrong food. I verified my orders with the waitress and circled what we wanted to eat to ensure that everything was accurate. They need to redo their paper menu so mistakes won't happen and upset customers. I hope they read this and make changes.

Went for the AYCE dim sum on a Sunday afternoon with a party of 3. For the price you pay isn't bad, which the quality surprisingly wasn't that bad either. The dimsum option was limited but you get your basics of hargow, rice noodle roll, xlb and etc.. You can do add ons for a few more dollars. I would pass on the rice noodle rolls as it just came out clumpy and cold. Chicken feet were pretty solid as it was my favorite amongst all the choices. A bit of soup inside of the xiao long bao as well. The service was fairly fast as well.

Great dim sum for the area, although the selection is lacking. The dim sum are very large and the outer skin is very glutinous and moist. It might be too moist for some people as it's poofy.I recommend ordering the siu mai and the taro dumpling. The XLB are the typical sized ones you find at dim sum restaurants in the foil. The filling was seasoned very well and had a light amount of soup within it. The ha gow could use more seasoning in the filling. The rice rolls were pretty good as well.If you're sensitive to flashing lights I recommend sitting on the opposite of the room with the Long portrait of ancient China.

Food tasted great, on par with most dim sum places in the area but service was a bit slow. Wait staff was very attentive and bilingual, English and Cantonese. They have many large tables that are great for big families.

The restaurant is new to the inner Richmond and is open for dim sum during the day and full dinner menu in the evenings. We had dinner there and received great service and very tasty food. We ordered a chicken and corn soup - was much larger than we expected. The chicken is diced - much better than some places that have ground chicken. We also ordered the sizzling short rib plate - meat is tender with a very nice peppery sauce. My favorite was the Egg Tofu over Pea Sprouts - the egg tofu was delicious while the pea sprouts were tender. And to top things off - we got a bowl of mango pudding that was also very good. You should check it out and support our local Richmond restaurant!!

The place has a weird vibe like a karaoke bar and Chinese restaurant made a child. The plates and bowls were dirty. Service was not good, hard to flag down someone even tho they only had 4 other tables. The bathroom had hair all over the sink and floors were wet. Slipping accident waiting to happen. Food was below average. The price was the only ok thing. Will not be back.

Had dinner here with the family and had a karaoke room! Kids loved singing at the top of their lungs to Kpop songs, while I was enjoying the delicious food! Service was great. 5/5 would recommend and definitely coming back for more dinners!

Back for the second round now that they have been opened for a while. Came here with with a total of 8 people so that we could try a few other things. Service was good, but the room continued to be cold. On of our guest ask the staff to turn down the air conditioning as it was blowing directly at her. I don't think anyone took off their jackets during the lunch. It was on a Wednesday, so maybe they get more people on the weekends? I'm not sure, but there were only a total of 4 parties during the lunch hour, although the parties were between 4 and 8 people. Until they get more customers, they really do need to turn off the air conditioning as it doesn't make for a pleasant experience.FoodHom Sui gok 5/5 Of course I ordered this again. These are best thing on the menu in my opinionHar Gow 4.5/5 I still think the skins needs some salt. However they brought soy sauce and chili to the table because one of the guest asked specifically for this.Pork rice rolls 4/5 Again, the rice wrappers were not a smooth as other places. The pork was seasoned very well. Also, I want to mention that there are options to add to the rice rolls, but on the menu, those options are only written in Chinese. We did not order any of the options, but one of the guest can read Chinese and asked everyone if they wanted any of the options. This needs to be corrected in the menu if they want to cater to non Chinese reading customersPork Spare Ribs 4/5 This was pretty standard. No complaints but I wouldn't say outstanding either.Sui Mai - 4.5/5 This batch did not have an orange peel taste which lead me to believe that the last batch was cross contaminated with the orange peel taste from another dish. char Sui Bao 3.5/5. I guess this wasn't anyone's favorite. Sesame Balls 3/5 I thought that since the Hom Sui Gok was so good, that these would also be outstanding, but nope. The balls were miniature sized, but it threw the filling and dough ratio off. I ordered 2 plates thinking there were 3 to a plate, but we left with a full plate uneatenBeef Chow Fun 4/5 Again, same rating as it was good and I would order it again, but wasn't outstanding.Sticky Rice 5/5 I would definitely order this again. Everyone only took 1/2 a sticky rice and I ate one by myself. I really wish that they would turn down the air conditioner. Food is actually good here, but I really don't like to eat in the cold. My son prefers to eat dim sum elsewhere because his two favorite things, the rice rolls and Char Sui bao are not up to his standards. So, this wont' be destination for our family lunches, but we may continue to come here with my husbands colleagues as it' pretty close to the one of the work sites.
