A true gem -- amazing flavors, good hospitality/service, and great prices. We got the aloo gobi, fried eggplant, chapli kebab, and chicken samosa. Aloo gobi: 8.5/10 delicious, flavorful, loved the chunks of cauliflower. Fried Eggplant: 10/10 super "meaty", unique, easily my new favorite dish. Chapli kebab: 8.25/10 I don't usually like meat dishes but this one tasted great. Would get again. Chicken samosa: 9/10 different from the samosas that I'm used to, but in a good way. Filled with super crumbly, flavorful chicken. Accompanied by a sweet, tart sauce.The staff was also super friendly, made us feel very welcome and checked in regularly to see how we were enjoying the food. Would 1000% come back to try the other dishes.

This place is awesome! It's delicious comfort food in a simple setting. I've been going to this place for over 7 years now and it's amazing how consistently good the food always is. I specifically love their chicken biryani (see photo), chicken tikka masala (yum!) and their hearty lentil curry. The place is nice and clean. The owner is a sweet person who welcomes you with a smile. I hope to continue going here for years to come.

First and foremost, the food is delicious and Halal!!! Second of all, the service is outstanding!!!The place is literally a hole-in-the-wall, super clean, the owner super attentive and kind. We enjoyed the plate that comes with chapli kebab, rice and salad. Even the salad was very delicious because it was very fresh-- the sweetness from the fresh-shredded carrots. We also got hummus which is made there, bread, and biryani rice with chicken and beef kabob. Everything very flavorful, tender, juicy, right amount of everything!!And last but not least. Rice pudding is also very yummy-- my boyfriend who was with me and is afghan, told me that is Kulfi. Not too sweet, with a delicious taste of rose water, pistachio, little explosions of little pieces of ice in your mouth they also have kanafeh, which I didn't try-- I was way too full by then, maybe next time. The place is very informal but indeed very clean. Is that's what you're looking for! Definitely recommended!!

Came here to try out a new place after a very long time. The place is very simple and small but efficient. I ordered a kids meal, samosa, friend eggplant (another yelper recommended it) and the chicken biriyani. The person who took our order was so kind and so welcoming with a nice smile. The food came in very promptly and the chicken and rice for my child was non spicy so it worked great for my child. They told me it won't be spicy and it was true. Then the spice level on the biryani was great. This is probably afghani biriyani because it's quite different from indian biryani. Nonetheless it tasted good and the chicken skewer esp was great. I also enjoyed the fried eggplant and the samosa.

We just visited the place after a while to dine in. The flavors in the food are still so consistent from a decade ago when we started visiting the place.The chicken in the biryani this time was more succulent, melted in the mouth and perfectly spiced. We got the Chicken Tikka Masala to go as our usual order.The owner is always friendly with a smile on his face.

Ordered chicken and biryani rice plate. Food was fresh and flavorful. Quick service on weekdays and you will not be disappointed. Ambiance is decent.

100% halal menu for those with dietary restrictions. First things first, the service was 5/5. My review of the food is specific to the food and not anything else. The folks were very accommodating, had a prayer space, the restaurant was neat and clean, food was served hot and fresh etc. With that said, I was really disappointed with the food. I saw they advertised Afghan, Indo-Pak, and Middle Eastern. That typically is a sign that most of their items are decent but nothing is really that great. My table ordered Chapli, Chicken, and Beef and it was nothing remotely close to anything Afghan I've ever eaten. It also wasn't really that close to traditional desi food either. I think they really need to hone in on the items they have that cover the ethnicities of food they offer on the menu. The chapli was just nowhere near how chapli usually is at an Afghan place. I felt let down when seeing my plate and was able to finish it because I was starving but it didn't hit the spot like I was hoping for. I don't think I would go out of my way to eat here again. Nothing against the service and ambiance as I mentioned, it just wasn't what I was looking for. Feel free to give it a try for yourself.

Packed with flavor.Flavor: 5/5. The sauces and the meats are all made very well and has the perfect amount of spice and sauce.Portion: 4/5. I believe for lunch there could have been more vegetables, or a tad bit more meat, however it is not bad.Service: 5/5. Very nice staff that is super helpful. Ask them for recommendations and explanations! Location: 4/5. Not the best location and seating, but I believe that the rest of the restaurant makes up for it.I recommend the mix plate platter and the beef platter.

Found this place on Yelp and decided to give it a try since we were nearby and hungry for something different. The space itself looks unassuming, but don't let that fool you- the food was wonderfully flavorful. We had the fried eggplant, chicken tikka masala, and chicken samosas. None of it disappointed. From the moment we walked in, we were treated to some of the friendliest service I've had in a while. Perhaps it was the owner ? He seated us, answered our questions, wiped our menus clean before handing them to us, and let us know at the end how much he appreciated us for eating there.And for dessert, they have the baklava that dreams are made of.

Fantastic food! I love the chicken tikka bityani!!!! I had it first at a catered party, now i come here whenever I can. The staff ate super friendly and the seasoning and portions are so good.
