It's been years since I've dined here. This particular location is not a favorite but with all of the other Great Khans Mongolian BBQ locations being closed, I was inclined to give Eastridge's version another go. The ingredients bar was tidy and the veggies seemed quite fresh. My main complaint lays with the noodles that were in need of being replenished and the noodles sitting in the tub being broken up. The process was straightforward and extremely easy. The cooks work hard to provide you with a hot plate of food but the grill should be cleaned a lot more frequently- my box was left with waaay too many charred burnt black bits. Definitely not appetizing nor is it healthy to be ingesting that!! 3 stars overall but one added star because GK still offers lamb- they have not strayed from the typical offerings or cut corners to save a buck! Oh how I've missed that!!

Really shocked. We came yesterday towards the end of the night. I filled my bowl with toppings, as it stated to do in their instructions, not realizing noodles was supposed to be a part of it. So, the cook said its ok and let me add in noodles additionally. When I sat down to eat, all my chicken and some other toppings were not in my bowl. He had taken them out when I wasn't looking. I should have asked for a refund. I certainly still wanted my chicken and would have scooped out things if needed. $18 for really poor service. Will not be back.

Great Khans isn't so great as it used to be. Prices have gone up, and/or the bowl has gotten smaller, it seems. It is impossible to stack an adequate amount of food unless you come with a strategy (like compressing your meats, letting your veggies fall onto a napkin, see tips). The noodles are heavily coated with seasame oil of sorts, causing it to continuously slip off my small mound of veggies. The sauce labels were so worn out that you couldn't really read or tell what similar colored sauces were. Usually, the cooks also have a soy sauce concoction they use when stir frying your food, but I found it rather bland than what I remembered it used to be. Overall, my plate tasted lackluster. The noodles are short cuts.I miss what it used to be... like 15 years ago.

The food was alright here. Not great, but not terrible either. It was expensive though at $18/plate.You pay at the front and they will give you a bowl to choose your noodle ingredients. There were beef, pork, chicken, lamb, maybe seafood? (wasn't labeled), tofu, vegetables, sauces, and noodles at the end.You can only fit so much in a bowl so choose your meat, press them down if you can. I listened to another review and picked leafy greens/flat vegetables like spinach to maximize space. You can stack the noodles high if you'd like. For sauce, I did 2 ladles of teriyaki sauce and it was just right. Not too bland or salty. After that, give your bowl to the chef and he'll cook it for you on a large cook area. You can ask for a bag at the end if you plan to take your food to go.

I have mixed emotions about Great Khans in Eastridge Mall. The meal was reasonably good. But the quality of the meats was poor. The vegetables were fine. The seasonings were fine. The price was high especially considering that they allow customers to have only one bowl of food, which is not enough quantity for a full meal. There is a much better equivalent place in Cupertino at Homestead and Hollenbeck. They allow two bowls and the price is less.

Eek.First, I love the idea. I love noodles and meat and their assortment of different oils and sauces. The food itself is edible and good for quick mall food or take out. I'm giving 2 stars for a nice hangover meal.My last visit, there was no line and the mall was quite bare, but the service was..well, unpleasant. As I placed my tray on the counter with my hands still on it, the man yanked it away and almost flung the noodles out of the bowl. I looked at him puzzled, and moved over to where the tray was, but moved it slightly back because the angle was a little weird for me. He did it again, and rolled his eyes. What? When he was done cooking, he slammed the food onto my tray.Thanks.It's the mall- I don't expect fabulous service but even in the dingiest of places, that kind of behavior just isn't acceptable.

Ever since I was young, this mall joint had the best Mongolian BBQ I could get within Milpitas at a low cost of $8. Of course, they jacked it up thanks to economy though the system of how they operate never changes as well as their mall quality flavored noodles. You want to get your $17 dollar's worth of food, hear me out. You only get to add your food once and it can be as many as 4 servings if you pull it off ($4 per serving). When you're at the frozen meat section (chicken/beef/pork/lamb), squish them down flat so you can add more along the way. As for the vegetable section, consider prioritizing leafy vegetables (Spinach/Green Onion/Cilantro) since the volume is less condense compared to carrots and broccoli which will take up too much space. Once you're at the noodle section, sack them up as high as you can (Recommend 1 part meat/vegetables to 3 part noodles). The chefs at the grill will make it happen no matter how big it is so you best tip them well.Follow these instructions and you'll get your money's worth as well as days worth of food. The only complaint I have is how dirty the grill is but it can't be helped since it get's busy by evening. Be smart and enjoy the food yelpers.

Great Khan's has been consistent, good Mongolian BBQ ever since it first opened in Eastridge, and quality has never gone down, in the sense that you're not getting anything gourmet, but it's a Mongolian BBQ joint at a mall food court, what do you expect? You basically stuff everything in your bowl and take it to the guy at the grill and he cooks it for you. It used to be a bit more strict when it was more crowded, or maybe I'm just older and a bit more bold, but you can pretty much pile the bowl as high as you want and stuff it as much as you can.I mean, you ought to since the prices are so high these days, with a meal costing about $12+. If I am going to put cheap Asian stir fry in my body, at least let me get my money's worth.Always a great deal for a food court mall outlet and you can pretty much get enough to fill you for 1.5-2 meals.TIP: Feel free to pile it as high as you want.

I had a bad experience at the Great Mall location a few weeks ago. And here I am at the Eastridge location. We started off rocky but thank you to the owner Jason for making it right. Today's food was legit on point. I miss this place so much.

Great Khan's Mongolian BBQ isn't the best here and the price you pay depends on how much you are able to stuff your tiny bowl. There are now labels for the sauces and the difference type of frozen meat they have out. Thankfully, I haven't encountered any bad attitude or disrespect from the cashiers or the cooks for that matter here. -Seating are at the food court with lots of tables and chairs- even benches and cute looking little chairs and tables for little ones. -Tables and chairs can be dirty and you either find yourself a new seating place or clean it up yourself. It's the mall food court, whatcha expect? -Inside the food court there's a bathroom to the side. X- The pork and beef are frozen.X- The sauces looks diluted with water.
