Little hidden gem that tastes good and is inexpensive, all you can eat and drink for like $30 a person if you go during the lunch happy hour is an AMAZING deal. They have really yummy canned Asian drinks (my favorite is the lychee) that are so good and UNLIMITED. I usually have 2 so that's like $6 on its own. You get to choose two different soup flavors (even if you're eating by yourself or a buddy). The meats are pretty decent quality. The food they have on their menu is really good as well.Obviously this isn't the healthiest food, but if you're trying to fill your stomach on a budget, this place is perfect for that!!! Service is quick, you usually get your soup / food within 15 minutes, and the place usually has a lot of people so you know it's pretty good. It's really fun to cook yourself too. The sauce bar and dessert is great too.I recommend: house spicy soup, the non fatty steak, the orange glazed chicken, sesame balls, honestly just get anything that looks good it's UNLIMITED and they don't really care about leftovers.

A great spot that showed up when I was looking for hot pot around San Francisco. A bit of a drive from where we were staying but wanted to check it out due to the price, variety, and the fact that drinks were included with the meal!We arrived around 5 pm on a weekday. It wasn't too busy and there were plenty of tables available. Parking is also available outside the plaza. The meat was good and there was plenty of vegetables. We got beer and sake included with the meal and also got to try other canned drinks from the fridge.I think the only thing that could be improved on is if they let you order individual portions instead of portions based on the amount of people at the table. Not everyone wanted the same thing and they give a lot. Next time we'll try their karaoke rooms with hot pot, haha.

I just don't think I'm a fan of hot pot. I'd much rather go to Ramen or Udon. And the whole concept of sharing the pot with your table mates gives me the icks. Sure they're your friends or family for that matter but still the chopsticks are going in and out of their mouth and back in the broth. Here's hoping the broth is so hot that it burns off whatever icks they're sharing with you.The ordering process is easy. They give you a check list that you hand off to your server. We ordered baby boo choy, which was waaaaaaay too much. It came in a ginormous bowl and I was afraid we were going to get charged for wasting food b/c it was way more than 4 people can eat. The mushrooms were good, I only wish they were enoki. The tofu was a little funky for my liking, so we kind of hid it in the broth in the hopes they would g go unseen. We also ordered the brisket and the pork belly. The usual fair. They did have a few cooked food options. And what we thought would be kicked. The uncooked dumplings weren't very good. AS everyone has said the honey walnut prawns are worth it. The crab rangoon not so much.Drinks are all you can drink, and they've got some pretty good options for that. The ice cream is self serve but the quality of ice cream is very poor. The space itself is very big and there's plenty of parking in the lot out front.

Parking is plentiful. This place was okay. The ice cream was probably the best thing they had. I had the lunch special and after taxes it came out to 35 USD. The meat is stale, it didn't absorb the soup that well, and the soup was not too flavorful. Service is also average. They will come by if you raise your hand but not proactively. The place is big and the pot the soup comes in looks nice so at least it's good for pictures. Plus you get to be near the beach.

Great spot in a sleepy plaza in Pacifica, right off Highway 1. Amazing AYCE deal, especially for lunch at $25.99 per person, and $22.99 for 65+; dinner is $10 more at $35.99 w/additional choices to order from. Same price for weekdays and weekends. Minimum 2 persons, 90-minute limit. There's an abundance of choices - both your typical hotpot items such as beef / lamb / chicken / pork, different types of fishballs, fish/shrimp paste, tofu, mushroom, and vegetable choices. What's unusual is they also have a fair # of cooked food items that you can order that's included with the AYCE meal; the walnut prawns (sans walnut) is always popular. Canned drinks and ice cream are also included, and self-serve. In the evening, there're additional vegetables meat, and drink choices. Service here is casual and warm. I especially appreciated that the staff seems to help with balancing out the volume of what's ordered against the # of different items you order, so that you don't end up with way too much food. It's so easy to over-order and over-eat at AYCE places! And you're always welcome to order more anyways if you wish. I love where Grand Hotpot is located, just minutes from the Pacifia pier and walkway along the ocean, so we always go for a walk along the ocean after the meal to enjoy the beautiful scenary, while we walk off part of the meal!

Yummy and reasonably priced all you can eat and drink! (They have a fridge in the back with all sorts of drinks: grass jelly, soda, Hawaiian sun, coconut water, etc.) plenty of options of meat, fish balls, tofu, veggies and even made to order foods. We ordered the walnut shrimp and green onion pancakes and the servers brought it out very quickly. They have a sauce bar in the back with porridge and rice as well. Along the front is an ice cream chest with red bean, black sesame, matcha and mango flavors! There's also quite a bit of seating with large round tables that can accommodate at least 6 as well as smaller ones for 4. In the back they also have karaoke rooms you can reserve! You can sing while having AYCE hot pot.

Grand HotPot is a great spot for big groups or parties. I came here for a friend's birthday and we had a private room with karaoke. I've been here before, but didn't realize they had karaoke. I'm not usually a huge hotpot fan, but it was the perfect comfort food for a cold day. They have a lot of meat options. I especially liked the fatty beef and prime rib slices. I'm not the biggest fan of the house spicy broth (it has that tingly, Sichuan kick), but if you're into that, you'll probably love it. I personally liked the tonkotsu broth, which was flavorful. I even mixed in a little of the house spicy to add a little heat. The appetizers were great too! The honey glazed prawns is definitely a must order. The cucumber salad and crab meat rangoons were just okay, though I think they use imitation crab in the rangoons.Overall, I think Grand HotPot is a great spot for hanging out with friends especially if you're into karaoke and hotpot!

My mom and I stopped by for lunch and were pleasantly surprised! As with most AYCE meals its more reasonably priced for their lunch. They weren't too busy during lunch so we received all our items quickly and didn't have to wait for the sauce bar. They had a good variety of meat and veggies as well as a nice selection of dishes you can order on the side. We stuck with the hot pot and didn't order any additional dishes however we'll definitely try them next time! I have to say, the meat was top notch! It was sliced so thin that each piece was so tender and honestly didn't need much in terms of sauce! The highlight of the meal for sure! The soup base may have lent a hand to how tasty the meat was. We got their house soup base and their bone broth. They were both great and I felt like somehow seasoned the meat well even with how fast the meat. The veggies were fresh and they had a great variety but I mean who focuses on the veggies at an AYCE hotpot place haha!Okay so my asian genes tell me anything outside of the hotpot is tummy filler but we tried their ice cream and really loved them. They kept the temp of the ice cream so we could easily scoop the ice cream. The flavors we tried were mango sorbet, green tea, and sesame. All in all, highly recommend Grand HotPot (especially for their lunch pricing)! Meat quality and thinness was incredible and their soup bases were rich and flavorful. Three chef kisses from me!

My gf and I went to this place spontaneously and it was a 10/10. We loved the variety in protein, vegetables, and noodles! It's all you can eat, including the appetizers and side dishes. They also have yummy red bean, green tea, black sesame (mid), and mango sorbet. I HIGHLY recommend you go here. Staff was very nice and attentive. The door was kept open so you don't go home smelling like hot pot. Bathrooms needed a cleaning. But overall still a 10/10

I've been here a couple times now, but our second time was the BEST. We decided to throw a birthday party for my nephew, who was home from college. We reserved a private Karaoke room for AYCE hot pot and it was FUN. We ordered a ton of appetizers, meats, veggies, sashimi, rice, noodles, fruit and drinks. We had three different hot pots that were split, so six different broths. It was $44 for each adult for the private room (All you can eat and drink), Like $19 for kids and my 3 year old was free. I was worried that the kids would not like to do the hot pot, but they loved getting served. When we weren't sharing plates, we were passing that mic. Even people who didn't want to sing, had a blast and were picking songs. It was so fun, we all had a blast and left so full.
