I feel like not many people know about this spot. At least I didn't, it's kind of tucked away in the corner of the food mart plaza below Eastridge Mall, but I felt like I had a great authentic experience here.I dined in, and the store seems to be run by two aunties. Menu prices are very competitive compared to other places, and they also have lunch specials at an even better price point. I really like how this place offers a lot more variety in Thai cuisine than other spots. Since it was my first time, I just went with the Pad Thai, level spicy. I love how every dish is made to order, and it really felt like I was getting a home-cooked meal. The food was delicious and piping hot since it had just come straight from the wok. I got beef as my protein, and it was super tender. I also love how spicy they can make it here because I'm a big fan of the Thai chili spice. You can squeeze in as much lime as you want, and I love how the citrus cuts through the dish.Seating was plentiful at this location. While I was eating, the chef walked over to check in on my meal. It was cool learning she immigrated here from Thailand and has been cooking ever since. She was super sweet and told me how she picked up English, Vietnamese, and even a little bit of Spanish while working which is really impressive and inspirational. This place also seems really popular for delivery because a lot of people came in to pick up orders while I was dining in. I overheard the chef explaining to someone getting takeout that she only cooks the noodles lightly so that by the time they get home, the dish is perfectly cooked and not too soggy. From the interaction, it feels like the store owner really knows her craft. I'm usually not a big fan of DoorDash because of delivery delays, but I'd feel really comfortable ordering from here knowing that the owner keeps things like that in mind. I'm excited to come back and try other menu items because they have dishes I wouldn't expect to see outside of Thailand, or at least not at restaurants in the area. Overall, just really solid Thai food made super authentically.

We were greeted by a friendly cashier upon entering this eatery. We ordered the Pad Thai with Pork, Chicken Satay, Green Curry With Pork, jasmine rice, and two Thai Iced Tea. Our food came out in a timely manner. The sauce for the Pad Thai had a sweet, salty , and sour taste to it, which I really liked. I can really taste the tamarind in it. The Green Curry with Pork had eggplants and bamboo shoots in there. The chicken satays were moist in the inside and the cucumber salad went well with them. The Thai Iced Teas had the right amount of sweetness to it. The prices are fairly reasonable and they were generous with the portions. We will be back to try their salmon curry, seafood mango and the larb salad.

This is one of the best spots for thai food in SJ. Not many people no about it. I love their drunken noodle. The tẽcute has a great char to it and its packed with flavor. There's a good amount of seating and the workers are also super friendly. Highly recommend if you're in the area.

Passed by the spot often and I think their hours are on and off sometimes, so I didn't get the chance to try it until recently. Ordered off of DoorDash while in the mood for Thai food. I chose the spiciest level the foods because I'm not sure what to expect when ordering from a new Thai place. The food came piping hot and on time.Wow, the heat was real! My mouth was blown away lol. The papaya salad felt spicer than the pad thai, so I ate more pad thai to balance out the salad. The pad thai was less spicy the next day.Pad thai: Not the best in terms of flavor; I think it could use more seasoning. The noodles were all stuck together. I think the heat made it pretty tasty though.Papaya salad: I wish the papaya was more crunchy and cut more thin like most places. However it was saucy and the spice was good too.Tom yum soup: Spicy! People said leaned more on the sweet side but it was good to me. Lots of onions. I wish there was more cabbage and mushrooms. All in all, a standard place for Thai food in the area.

This is my go-to restaurant for thai in san jose Evergreen. The food is simply awesome here. I love the quantity they provide for the prices. My favorites are thai basil fried rice, drunken noodles, and the wok dishes like crisp cat fish and garlic chicken. I highly recommend this thai restaurant for take out as well as dine in.

I've been to Grab Thai a couple of times when I just want to quickly to-go Thai food. I really enjoy how fast they are and how their dishes are of quality! Sometimes their spice levels are not consistent, so I recommend ordering medium spice if you can't handle it. I'd also recommend their curries.

My husband and I have seen this place open for a while, and it looks like a fast food/to go place, though it's more like a dine-in. We came here with my 2 boys last Friday arpund 6 pm and there were 2 other parties there. It looks like a fast food to go, but there are about 6 tables for you to sit and dine. There are only 2 staff working. You order at the counter and sit at any available tables. The food made to order on a first come, first serve customer basis. We ordered the following to share for our family:1. Chicken Satay: Very flavorful with a curry flavor, and chicken is moist. However, sauce on the chicken is a little runny. I'm not sure if it was marintated with the sauce or if sauce was brushed on, or both. 2. Grab Wings, medium spice: Not spicy and has just a slight hint of spice. Comes with a salad with a light spicy vinegarette dressing. Good, but the chicken wings were dried and not crunchy with dressing over. It tasted like the chicken was pre-fried, then microwave for hotness.3. Pad Thai, shrimp: This dish came out first, which was not an appetizer. By the time we were done with this plate, the rest of the food was still not out. Very flavorful. We asked for red chili flakes and added it to be spicier. Came with 5 shrimp and some tofu, which was a little hard and stale. But overall, it's very tasty.4. Yellow curry, chicken medium: Good spices but not spicy for it being medium level. Not sweet nor too savory. My 10 & 8yo boys really enjoyed it. 5. Tom Yum: Not spicy and on the sweeter side. It's slightly tangy but could be more tangy but still alright enough to enjoy. We also ordered 2 side orders of white rice, thai ice tea, and a coke. I feel that they need to manage the orders better by bringing out appetizers first before entrees, but then this is not a full-on restaurant. Also, it was hard to get their attention at the counter when you need water, napkins, condiments, etc. to access it easier as they're busy cooking, so you can stand there waiting until they see you. They got busy quick while we were there and alot of pick ups/door dash. I have mixed feelings about returning here, but if you need to meet your Thai cravings w/o driving far, then this may be the place as there is more options then the other Thai place at Paloma Plaza.

Located in Tully Corners, same plaza as Party City and Food Maxx off Tully Road. I came there around 12:45pm for lunch on a Thursday and there was only 1 other table eating in. I went straight to the cashier to place my order but there was only 1 lady working at the time, so it took her a second to take my order. She was a bit preoccupied with the other table and their food.I got..PAD THAI $13 -rice noodles, egg, tofu, bean sprouts, tamarind and crushed peanuts. I got it with chicken, no bean sprouts, requested it to be spicy. Very saucy but too sweet for my taste. It wasn't spicy either. Kinda bland tbh. Barely any fried tofu..just itty bitty cubes. It was mostly noodles but at least they were chewy..since I ate it fresh. 2/5* The lady who took my order was super nice though. She brought out my togo order to my table and started speaking vietnamese to me. Lol I asked her for chili and she gave me two types. She even asked me if I wanted water and she brought it to me too. Food wise, I'm not a fan but service is warm and friendly.
