I was pleasantly surprised with the delicious breakfast I had here today. I was expecting mid level diner food but it was slightly above! Glen Park Cafe is your basic, but reliably good neighborhood diner. It's small and can seem cramped but, later in the day, it slows down. Options are simple burgers, sandwiches and brunch comfort foods. I had hopped off Bart to head over to Glen Canyon Park and made a pit stop here for lunch. The impossible burger was a filling choice. Fries are extra and soda comes in cans.Service was friendly and quick. Nothing overly extraordinary but a cute little neighborhood spot.

Glen park cafe is one of those few places in the city that is approachable, old fashioned cafe where you'll get decent food and decent prices. It isn't like mind blowing food, which isn't a bad thing, it's just very good. Some better than others.The Machaca scramble is good. Kind of light actually. 7.0/10Breakfast burrito is a fantastic size. If you're not too hungry I'd for sure split it with someone. 7.3/10The super omelette sounded great it has everything you'd want, but the chorizo is just way too greasy. It kind of ruined it for me. Otherwise it was solid. I'd prob order an omelette again but just skip the chorizo. 6.8/10Overall this place is solid really it's great for the neighborhood and it's a really great place for anyone looking for a solid breakfast with the family. This is a wonderful brunch spot! The exterior is absolutely adorable, and it's super cozy inside without feeling cramped. My partner and I had gone for breakfast before meeting up with some of his family, and it was so delicious we literally brought them back here the same day for lunch. They all seemed to enjoy their food and the service was phenomenal! I got the chicken fried steak and it was SO GOOD. And the breakfast potatoes were so simple yet very delicious! I highly recommend!!

Ordered take out. Got the chicken fried steak. Being from Oklahoma it wasn't the best chicken fried steak I've ever had but the chorizo gravy was delicious and the steak and breading were of the right proportions. The potatoes were cooked fine but a touch under seasoned. I'd come back to sit inside because it seemed cozy and everyone appeared to be enjoying themselves.

We were in SF over Christmas visiting a friend and stopped in for breakfast. We're not local so we were expecting some crazy bustling San Francisco wait but we actually got in and were seated immediately. This is a part of SF that feels like a small town. Over the time we were there it went from basically empty to bustling and seemed like a very well liked place. Service was fast and it was a pleasant place to eat. I got the benedict and my husband got a breakfast sandwich. Everything was good the only thing was that the portion sizes were small and if a side wasn't explicitly mentioned it didn't come with anything extra, which is fine, but had we known that we would've ordered more as he came away still pretty hungry.

Food was hit or miss, service was okay, prices were crazy. Sides for burger and sandwiches are "not included but recommended". $6 for a side of French fries to go with your burger is expensive, even for San Fran standards. The service was not great, but no fault to the waiter, he had all 10 tables to himself poor guy! The blueberry pancakes were very good! The chocolate chip pancakes didn't have any chocolate chips on the bottom pancake. Soda can was warm and tasted flat.
