The cheese pizza is better than some that we had in New York and my kids love the calzones which are huge and come with tasty marinara sauce. There is plenty of seating, service is friendly and the food comes fast. My favorite place for New York Style pizza. Check out Giovanni's next time you're in North Sunnyvale!

We left the football game and looked for pizza. We found this amazing spot and the food was absolutely deeeeeliscious! We tried the lasagna, pizza, and chicken Alfredo. Nothing disappointing about this spot. I'm just sad I don't live closer to enjoy it more often.The staff was so welcoming and very helpful

Always nice NYC style thin crust pizza. Crunchy extra thin crust tastes soooo good. However, can't go over 2 toppings or the middle of the pie is a bit soggy. No nonsense decor & typical Italian service. Friendly ... Spaghetti with clam is ok. Always one of my favorite pizza in the SF South Bay

Very disappointed with the way the employees treated us last night went there 35 minutes before closing they literally kicked us out. They said that they don't take any dining orders and they had some lousy slices of pizza left over dried out. They offered us those and weren't helpful at all. Very disappointing.

Refreshing to see a serious pizza restaurant. Just walking in, I knew this was going to be good. I sat in ear-shot of two older gentlemen speaking Italian which seemed like another good indicator. As far as the pizza is concerned, I was transported to NYC with the first bite. This is the best pizza I've ever eaten in the United States.

Giovanni's makes a very delicious New York style pie! The one in the picture is half vegetarian and half Weight Watchers, but I requested the non-Weight Watchers amount of cheese! Both halves were delicious!

Giovanni's is a nice pizza restaurant located in the shopping plaza by Shell Gas station, Ming Tasty, and Saigon Seafood Harbor Restaurant.They have been serving authentic New York style pizza, Sicilian deep dish style, and other Italian dishes for decades.The restaurant is able to accommodate a large party or two. Also, it has many other tables for smaller groups for inside dining only. I've mostly had the NY pizza and maybe a pasta dish. Though, I keep gravitating to their pizza. Thin crispy edges, with a slight chew. But, with the savory saltiness of the cheese and tomato sauce. The more toppings you have on the pizza, the more it will be soggy. Just my opinion.Friendly, polite customer service from this family owned business! Overall, 3.5 stars.

Since the 1990s, I have been visiting Giovanni's Pizzeria; it has become a pillar of my life ever since. Simply precisely thin, crispy edges. If you wish something substantial and flavorful, you really should try the Sicilian deep dish. Every mouthful transports me to my early years; the constancy in quality over the decades is amazing. The personnel is friendly always, and the surroundings are pleasant. Giovanni never lets down a fast lunch or a laid-back dinner. This is a real jewel that has endured over years. Strongly recommend.
