Fresh Elements

Fresh elements is super unique and I recommend coming. I love the concept, where the fresh seafood gets steamed and the seafood flavor melts into the congee in the steamer and you get to end the meal with really flavorful congee. I recommend coming during off times and early because they do run out of certain menu offerings by the end of the day.

The food remained fresh as usual, but the service was a bit strange and off, especially when it came to larger parties (consisting of at least 4 people). We visited on a Sunday night, and the restaurant was relatively empty with no waiting line. The service was decent, but nothing extraordinary or particularly exceptional. After finishing our meal, we decided to split the bill into two separate payments, and we also split the tips accordingly. However, to our surprise, the staff insisted that we give additional tips, demanding at least an 18% tip for each bill, even though we were all part of the same party and had already given a 15% tip on each bill. Our total bill at the end around $300The staff explained that they needed to justify this to their boss and insisted that we couldn't leave until we complied. It was the first time I had ever encountered such a situation, and it left me with the feeling that the restaurant was taking advantage of customers, despite tips being discretionary and based on appreciation.

I was a little worried about trying this spot because most of the reviews are for the dinner and their seafood, but their lunch menu did not disappoint! We went in and there was no wait on a Sunday. I didn't have any issues with the service since there were only a few parties in the restaurant at the time. Our server was conversational and attentive. The food did not take long to come out. Our noodle soups were delicious and flavorful. It had the perfect amount of toppings. Restaurant was clean and had good ambiance. Will be returning!

Wow! I was surprised by this place! I didn't know they served delicious noodles for lunch! The service was fast and the ambiance is nice. The food was very good! Overall, I highly recommend!!

Portions are VERY generous here! My mom loves their oyster porridge and they have huge ones and atleast 5 big ones! I loved every noodle soups I've tried here so far (traditions, hot & sour, tomato beef) all has been super flavorful and filling for the $16-18 price point. We went back two days in a row. Their pig ear was delicious as well! Staff were friendly and efficient. All tables were clean and organized. They have many big menus displaying their steaming seafood packages and I want to try it next time! At the end of your steam meal the drippings get turned into porridge, what a cool idea! Glad we found this new spot :)

Absolutely delicious seafood - this is coming from a canton local born and raised. Get the king crab combo,Great service too.

The seafood here is most fresh in the Bay Area. You don't need heavy seasoning to make it tasty. It's full of umami on its own out of the steamer. Just dip it in some garlic soy sauce and it's delicious! Staffs are so nice and welcoming. Love the vibe and feel. This is my go to place for the best see food in the Bay Area.
