Feng Hotpot

Love this place so so much!!! The meat quality is delicious. The fish too!! Everything from the appetizers to drinks is also authentic and superb.I'm hoping they maintain this quality as I'm aware they recently opened. Like any other restaurant the quality is best in the beginning, fingers crossed it will be in the coming months and years to come.

One of my go-to's whenever hot pot cravings hit. Plenty of parking. They do get crowded during the evening and you can only waitlist in person. I like that there's a mortal Kombat arcade game machine in the waiting area, if you get bored. The interior has a similar old traditional Chinese feeling with wooden tables and benches and wall art. There is a sauce and snack bar, which I find convenient and worth the price (additional ~$3 per person). The service is prompt and friendly. They give a generous amount of meat for each order. My favorite is the beef tongue. Ordering from the tablet is convenient and there's a large variety of things to order from different meats, vegetables, seafood, and many other toppings. My go-to broth is the four flavor broth (spicy beef tallow + tomato + mushroom soup + sour soup). Also, their fried rice is delicious. I will definitely be back soon!

We got here right at opening and were seated right away, which was perfect because it got pretty crowded not long after. Everything was fresh and there were thinly sliced meats, crisp veggies, and a solid variety of sides. The soup bases were flavorful, and the sauce bar had everything we needed. We were all full and satisfied. The place had a good energy, and the service was solid. Definitely worth coming back for another hotpot night!

So authentic so good! Brought my mom here and we both loved it. The dishes were very well prepared and high quality. They had a lot of authentic Chengdu style items to choose from, some of my favorites being the marinated quail eggs, tender beef, and beef tongue. Also loved the four-broth pot option so you get to try the best of all worlds. My favorite was the spicy beef oil one at medium spice was perfect! Sauce/snack bar is extensive and had everything I wanted and more.Place itself was really uniquely designed. Lots of Chinese signs. Service was really good too! Might be a slight wait in weekends but well worth it. Can't wait to be back.

I had a very nice lunch at Feng. The service was overall good, although as usual the waiter didn't believe I liked spicy food - guess I proved him wrong ordering the spiciest base AND making spicy dipping sauces.Anyway, the so-called "spiciest" tallow broth is tasty, but I would call it 5/10 spicy. If you're looking for pain this isn't it.All the food items were fresh, although I didn't try any liver which is kind of the litmus test for me. If the liver is good, then all the food will usually be good, because liver that's even slightly old is gag-inducing.The interior is also nice, they have some old arcade games and I guess they are going for some kind of aesthetic with that. Chairs could be a bit more comfy, I'm not sure why but all hot pot places seem to have unpadded chairs, many times without backs.This place isn't all that convenient for me but it's a good option if you're in the area.

Best and my favorite hotpot in Bay Area. Beef is great. Veggies are fresh. Small dishes are good.

刚刚在冯校长火锅吃完，整体体验非常不错！首先，锅底的味道真的很正宗，点了经典的牛油麻辣锅，香气扑鼻，辣得够劲但不会过于刺激，麻得很过瘾，完全就是四川火锅的味道。朋友不太能吃辣，我们选了鸳鸯锅，清汤锅底也很鲜美，适合搭配一些口味比较清淡的食材。食材新鲜度很在线，毛肚和鸭肠特别脆爽，下锅几秒就能吃，黄喉的口感也很好，不会腥。极品肥牛的肉质很嫩，羊肉也是现切的，肥瘦均匀，煮完后口感特别好。蔬菜和豆制品的选择也很多，推荐他们的冻豆腐，吸汤能力超强，入口很有层次感。服务也值得点赞，上菜速度很快，服务员会主动加汤、提醒最佳烫煮时间，整体体验很流畅。店里环境也很不错，桌间距合理，不会觉得拥挤。我们是周末晚餐时间去的，等位大概20分钟，但等待区很舒适，店员也会随时更新进度，等得不算难熬。吃完火锅必须来一碗冰粉，真的太解腻了！里面有红糖、坚果和小料，甜度刚刚好，完美收尾。价格方面，人均大概$60左右，虽然不便宜，但以湾区的物价来说还算合理，毕竟食材质量和整体体验都对得起这个价格。总的来说，是一次很满足的火锅体验，下次还会再来！

I am so glad I found Feng Hotpot--this place brings true Sichuan hotpot flavors to the Bay Area! The broth is rich, flavorful, and just the right amount of numbing spice (麻) and heat (辣). It reminded me of hotpot back in Sichuan, which is rare to find!The ingredient quality is top-notch--fresh meats, crisp vegetables, and a wide selection of dipping sauces to create the perfect combination. The service is also great, with staff checking in regularly and making sure everything is just right.If you love authentic Sichuan-style hotpot, this is the spot to go. I'll definitely be back!
