I really enjoyed this winery. It was unpretentious. They served 3 wines, a Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and a Cabernet Sauvignon. I enjoyed the Chard and the Cab. But I'm not a pinot noir lover. The wines were reasonably priced. My friends were going to buy the chard but everyone must have liked it... they sold out.People there are extremely friendly. The gardens beautiful even for fall. And for passport weekend they served rosemary bread and a triple cream brie. Even if they didn't have wine, I would come here for bread.

Love this place. Will be attending their next event which is this weekend. Wonderful wines, great scenery and very friendly winemaker and his wife. They do a fabulous job of making you feel at home. You will not be sorry. One of the little treasures of Silicon Valley!

This review is specifically for Eric at Fellom Ranch. My boyfriend and I ended up at Fellom on a Passport day for a tasting, quite late in the afternoon. After having a wonderful tasting experience, we tried to get an Uber to take us home. After several unsuccessful attempts, we realized Uber was not an option. Eric, who is part of the Fellom Ranch family, saw our predicament and insisted on giving us a ride the 15 minutes to the bottom of the hill towards central Cupertino. He didn't have to, but it was clear he wanted to help. Definitely rescued us from a sticky situation and was just an all-around nice guy about it. Tl;dr: Came for the wine, will return for the unparalleled service and great family attitude and atmosphere. Eric is the best!

This is a favorite of mine. I first discovered Fellom Ranch on a Santa Cruz Mountain vineyard passport weekend. They are next door to the better known Ridge Winery, which is good, but pricey. I am a big fan of their Zins. They took a break in their Zinfandel production, which they have since corrected. Their latest Zin was amazingly smooth, although, slightly sweet. I had tasted in in barrel tasting, and it blew me away then, although a little rough on the trailing edge. Bottled it was super smooth, although, as I said, a little on the sweet side. I have also purchased some of their Pinot and Chardonnay. I liked their Pinot, which is never my favorite. I am not a white wine fan, but those who drank it liked the Chard. About visiting Fellom - The folks are super friendly. They really make you feel welcome every time you visit. They are typically only open only for passport weekend, (and for those who do it, it is a must visit winery), but they have been kind enough to open the sales room for me when I had realized that I needed more wine for Thanksgiving. I am always looking forward to visiting them, and can only urge every red wine fan out there to pay them a visit. They are that good!!!

I'd give more stars if I could! Went today on a passport day. It was our 3rd winery in that area and we wished we had gone there first. Probably a good thing we didn't since we would have stayed there all afternoon and getting down the winding road is challenging enough. Where to begin.....the people were amazingly friendly & informative. We got there at 4:30 (they close at 5) and never felt rushed- if anything they were kicking back and included us. They had a wood fire burning that smelt amazing & felt great as it was getting cold. The atmosphere was so beautiful & restful. In a little valley at the top of a mountain, overlooking vineyards- doesn't get better. Now the wine...tasted a chardonnay, 2 zinfandels from 2 different years & a cab. All were so luscious & well made- it was hard to decide what to bring home. They are not open for tastings unless you call ahead or it's a passport day. Can't wait for the next passport day!
