Our first time visiting here was Friday evening, Valentine's Day. We were well prepared for a set menu and holiday crowds so we booked a 4pm dinner reservation. The atmosphere is charming for a larger restaurant, the staff was friendly and attentive (even though there were only two other tables occupied when we arrived) There's also a private room in the back for larger parties. Everything looked inviting. They even had a 3 piece band that was very lovely. We ordered a couple of drink to start and some focaccia. The Old Fashion was good but the Espresso Martini tasted like a foamy Mudslide cocktail, which made more sense when I realized there wasn't any actual espresso in it, just coffee liquor. The focaccia was good with olive oil & balsamic. Most of the food was decent but lacked basic seasoning, like the risotto and the tagliatelle were bland. I had the Blue Fin Tuna carpaccio, which was delicious, however it was listed arugula, which was not there. (minor note but I was hoping for some)My Surf & Turf (petite filet & lobster tail) was ok. Filet was cooked good and had flavor but the lobster was overcooked! I couldn't even eat the bottom half bc it was tough and chewy. Desserts were good, especially the soufflé. The bread pudding was moist and warm but had an odd citrus taste, that wasn't described on the menu, which was slightly off putting. Maybe it was the fact that it was a special holiday menu and not their usual food, But we did have an early reservation and there were only a few tables occupied . I would have expected that early in the evening the food quality would be top notch. In conclusion, I really wanted to love this restaurant but it just missed the mark. Hopefully this was an off day and if I decide to come back and try their regular menu, maybe it will redeeem itself.

Food: 4.25 out of 5My partner and I ordered a burger and a pizza to share. Angus burger was ordered medium well and the pizza was Neapolitan style. The freshest produce one could ask for: aromatic basil on the pizza, heirloom tomatoes, and crisp lettuce. They have a rotating menu to adapt to the season and what local farmers have. Lastly, the bread! It is a must try! It's fluffy and warm on the inside with a crisp outside; handmade in house and baked in their oven. EAT THIS CARBOHYDRATE! You will not regret it! Service: 5 out 5We went during the heatwave of the Bay Area. Our server was amazing and attentive to our needs. Checked in a couple times for water refills and how our food was tasting. Environment: 5 out 5Indoor & outdoor seating at the restaurant. A full bar, open oven in one dining area, plenty of seating on the bar side, and inclusive restrooms. Such as welcoming staff paired with ambiance. Overall: 4.75 out of 5 The head chef sources quality and local ingredients to showcase the best of the area. A well designed and thoughtful restaurant accommodating to many. Great for medium size parties, but if you need more room they can also accommodate with private seating in the back. I always enjoy coming back with family and friends.

This was my first time coming here on my own after attending on two different occasions with yelp - both of which were fantastic. I'm not sure if I was visiting on an off night (they also had some event going on in the main dining room) but will update this review the next time I go back. I came in with some high expectations but it just didn't quite meet them for how much I ended up paying.Fattoria E Mar embraces the seasonality of different ingredients, so I was really excited to try the seasonal pumpkin menu (even though I'm not the biggest fan of pumpkin lol). The seasonal menu was a four course meal for $85. It came with an appetizer, a pasta, a main, and a dessert. Normally, if something had the word burrata in it, I'd be on it in a heartbeat. But they recommended the pumpkin soup. It was alright - a pretty good tasting soup, though part of me wishes I got the burrata instead. The second course I got the papparadelle - that was super delicious. The first half of my meal went fine.It was the second half where things started to go not great. I got the osso bucco - which was supposed to come with butternut squash gratin, pumpkin chips, and lemon. However, I didn't realize this until after I left the restaurant and was posting to Instagram and saw my picture of the menu. They gave me an osso bucco with just potatoes on it. I got it and was like "is there supposed to be pumpkin in this??" I should have said something to the waitress when she checked in on me but I thought maybe I just couldn't taste the pumpkin or something. The day after, I ended up calling the restaurant to ask and they said that they brought out the regular version of the dish by mistake. It was still tasty but I wish someone would have noticed or I would have spoken up. They had taken the menu so I wasn't able to re-reference it in the meantime. Then the dessert came and I dunno, I think the kitchen was having a very off day. I got the butternut squash creme brulee. I wasn't the biggest fan of the flavor itself. But if that was it, I think I'd probably go with a 4 star rating. What knocks it down to three for me is that the sugar managed to be both burnt and incredibly undercooked. Like, you could see the sugar granules still on the top, giving the creme brulee a super grainy texture which wasn't that pleasant. And that part that did solidify tasted burnt. To be fair, the waitress did stop by and asked me how I liked it, and I didn't say anything. I just told her that I was super full (which was also true). But I didn't want them to try and remake something I wasn't planning on eating more of regardless, and I wanted to get on the road back home. Creme brulee with a top that poorly torched shouldn't have left the kitchen though. To the restaurant's credit, when I called to ask the next day if there was a menu change or they ran out of the butternut risotto or something, they said the kitchen made an error and invited me back with the promise of being taken care of. I look forward to taking them up on that eventually and updating this review! I really appreciated the gesture. It was, however, a very leisurely meal - not the kind of place to eat in if you're in a rush. Part of the reason I didn't call the same day was because the restaurant had already closed by the time I finished dessert. It was just me, but the whole meal took like, two hours at least.

From start to finished our experience was 5 star. The staff is very friendly & helpful with making recommendations. We had the bruschetta & calamari to start. Followed by the Bianca pizza, butter leaf salad, House Made Pappardelle shrimp Alfredo & cabanaro. The presentation was beautiful and the flavors were outstanding! They really perfected every dish, the fresh pasta was to die for. Sebastian made drinks that were delicious! We will definitely be back. This is one of our new favs.

Came in for take out. Nice establishment, but wanted to eat in the comfort of my bed and breakfast. I ordered the pork chops with mash potatoes. I actually asked for the truffle-squash-potato galette instead of mash potatoes, but they gave me both. Both were delicious. The pork chop was absolutely amazing. The sauce on top was different and unexpected but delicious. It also came with focaccia bread which was warm and delicious. Highly recommend !

Service was great. Dined here around the holidays for a late night dinner. Waiters were nice and very attentive. Food fell a bit short of my expectations, especially given the price. Nothing stood out too much and for 8 people we paid roughly around $550. However if you decide to give this place a shot, their pizza was the best dish!

Cutest restaurant! Fiancée took a day trip to half moon bay and needed an early dinner after visiting Andreottis. Luckily this place was only about 8 minutes away.We did a reservation through Yelp but since we had dinner around 430, there were plenty of seats. We say outside because it was a beautiful day but the interior is adorable! Super coastal vibes. My favorite was the mussels, the flavor was very unique to be. Really fresh and I love how they added pork belly to it. Added more depth.I bad the squid ink risotto which was amazing. So much umami and loaded with seafood. The shrimp was cooked perfectly. I would pass on the bread pudding but that just be my tastebuds. I like mine really gooey and sticky but there's is a little on the drier side. Service was great, checked in frequently.

Excellent. Food is high quality, beautifully prepared. Everything is from scratch. The manager is a sommelier if you enjoy your wine. Desserts are next level. We did a flight of Port with a generous table side education that was completely unexpected last night!!! So much fun! Perfect place for dinner for two or bringing the family. We're pretty spontaneous and do not often make reservations and no matter what they always have a table for us whether it's just the two of us or a group of 10. The people are amazing. The owner makes us feel like family.
