What a cool find for Happy Hour! This is a short 5 min walk from the San Antonio CalTrain. Also located near a huge parking structure if you're driving in. Especially want to point out the service of Jimmie. We sat outside and he came to check on us so often, we felt so cared for! Made it super easy to order multiple rounds. Nice heat lamps outside and cozy padded seating. The drinks are just $10 at happy hour which I can't complain about! What stood out the most to me was the starters. The truffle fries were not only delicious but such a massive portion for just $10. The samosas were also super delicious (love fried food when drinking) and again only $10 for a portion of 5. A great deal!I was super surprised by this spot and definitely will head back for another happy hour.

Decoration and scenery is great but the food is mediocre and the service is terrible. The waitress told us to find a table in the back room, but when we asked if we could sit in the nicer lobby area she said "oh yeah sure". Then after we told her our order, she asked us again what we wanted because she immediately forgot, and after we gave her our order for a second time she just rolled her eyes. Also she asked if I wanted eggs with the avocado toast and when I asked if it cost extra she said "I think so?". Food is mediocre. The avocado toast is a bit soggy and lacks anything special. French toast is dry and could use a little more spice. Would probably not go again, especially for the price.

Date: Friday, May 26th, 2023Time: around 6:15pmParty of: 6-7 I believeWhat: Happy Hour / Before Dinner Drinks*Moffett Mule ($15)*Whiskey & Ginger Smash ($14)*Gilroy Garlic Fries ($9)*Cabernet Canyon ($10 happy hour) x2*Bulleit Bourbon Rye Manhattan ($15)*Smoked Maple Old Fashioned ($16) x2My group was meeting up for dinner but wanted to grab some drinks beforehand. A few in our party showed up first and grabbed a table outside on the patio. I joined with another friend a little later. One of my gfs is a wine drinker, so she grabbed a few HH cabs. I believe they were canyon road. Not a bad deal. I got a Manhattan. If memory serves, it was fine. Nicely balanced and not too sweet since I requested rye.I'm not sure if they were understaffed, but it was hard flagging down a server. They didn't really check up on us, so we had to keep following up on orders and such. And even the bill. We had a dinner rez, so we were trying to close. I believe I went inside to get the cc processed.I like sitting outside and enjoying a drink or two. But if you're coming here, make sure you're not in a hurry. It may take a while.REVIEW #3534

Quick SummaryPretty solid brunch option, especially if you're a globalist with the free breakfast. Solid food, large portions, cool interior and patio seating options. Food- 5 starsIt's a typical hotel restaurant which is slightly better than chain brunch spots. I very much enjoyed the free breakfast options here with their menu. Really can't go wrong with the standard options: eggs Benedict, omelettes, french toast, waffle. Tasted great and large portionsServiceI would say they are slightly understaffed here as we did have to flag our waiter down towards the middle/end of our meal. Otherwise, the service was pretty solidBottom LineGood ambiance, good food and portions, and pretty good service. A good and reliable option if you're staying at the Hyatt Centric

Mother's day. Prix fixed menu. Was pretty disappointed. Our waiter was all over the board- distracted, although it didn't seem busy. I ordered the prime rib, and tried to ask for it med-rare, but apparently this was all made the night before and you didn't have a choice other than the temp it was served. That said, it was served medium, so can't nor want to complain about that. The setting did come with starter, main, dessert. I won't bother to go into details on the food, as it was all just "OK" bordering mediocre. Food presentation was decent though, but nothing stood out as notable. I highly doubt i'll be coming back here, and maybe i just set my expectation a bit too high...

friendly staff, every single employee. Julia has been our favorite bartender and staff member who has been our friend for the past 1-2 years. sadly, she will be having a change of careers so we won't see her often much longer. sad to see her go.seasonal menu that rotates to keep the menu fresh.the BEST BURGER in the area or within a 10-20 mile radius. always perfectly seasoned which is a huge thing for me. if you want a bit more salt and flavor, add bacon to give it that little extra something. you know this is fresh beef and always seasoned and cooked perfectly.fries are goodchicken cordon bleu bites are goodKorean inspired wings, good. spicy, sweet, but not too sweet which is a huge pet peeve.calamari, goodmeatless bolognese, goodcorn ravioli, too sweet and will leave you wanting something moreseasonal salads are always nice and freshpoke tuna with chips, good and changes seasonally

First time here and the last. 35 minutes for truffle fries?? Meanwhile my date finished her meal before my french fries came, spent the entire dinner watching he eat. All I ordered was fries, not a three-course meal. Not sure why it takes over a half an hour to cook fries smh. That should be the easiest thing and should have came out first.

This is very likely the worst dining experience my wife or I have had, ever. The decor was nice, but the table was unattended. What looked like boogers wiped on the light, a ring of coffee and a smear of hollandaise on the table. My mom got the sliders, dad got the chicken. Wife got salad and crab cake and I got the steak. My mom was the only one who was accepting of the meal. Dads chicken had what looked like it wasnt cleaned properly and his gin and tonic came back looking like a gin hot toddy martini. The replacement was flat and questionable if it has gin. My wifes crab cake wasnt cooked properly. My steak was ordered medium rare. Somehow it was well done at one tip then bleeding the rest of thr way through. It was visibly undercooked on the outside but I didnt question a professional cook. Probably should have. At least I didnt get food poisoning. And of greater concern, they served it immediately with A1. Maybe they knew it needed to have the taste covered up? What self respecting place serves their steak with something to cover the taste of the meat and their seasoning? The fries were ok. But hard to screw those up... our second dinner elsewhere was better thoughEdit: I did end up getting food poisoning. Thanks Fairchilds!
