Such a beautiful, modern, and happy place to have brunch with the girls! We had indoor seats downstairs, and the space just felt very open and upbeat. We started off with a cocktail called Trix Aren't for Kids It was a an elevated yummy drink reminiscent of my childhood eating a bowl of cereal while watching Saturday morning cartoons. I wanted to try the Peanut Butter Jelly Time...next time for sure!!!!To share, we ordered the friends with Benedicts, plan B.....runch, and breaking b(re)ad. All were ridiculously delicious, I wanted seconds of each! So many other offerings I want to try, therefore another brunch date will need to be planned!I just did not like having a Male stall inside the restroom , but it was clean and tidy. Maybe I walked into a men's room, though I thought it was a community washroom. Other than that, I loved the greenery inside the entire restaurant and the contemporary feel of it all.Mos def recommend!!!!

Came here for a cute little girls night out. Off the bat one of prettiest restaurants in DTSJ. whoever designed this place absolutely ate with the interior design. We were able to sit at the bar with no wait and order from the full menu. Our bartender was so sweet and personable. I told them flavors I liked and they made such delicious drinks based on those flavor profiles. The food was really good. The bruschetta was nice a light- good starter. The pasta was a bit heavy but still really good, the noodles were cooked really well and had a good bite. The steak was cooked perfectly and the garlic herb butter with the roasted garlic made for a pretty perfect bite. Great spot for a nice dinner with friends or a cute date night!

You can't beat the ambiance of this place. They didn't miss a beat when it came to the atmosphere of the restaurant. The food was 10/10, no complaints, can't even make a critique. My only comment regarding the restaurant is the service, I found that my cocktail was always empty. It took so long to get another one. Even though there was a lot of restaurant staff walking around. Truthfully, they could have gotten a lot more drinks on our bill if they were a little bit more on top of that. In saying that the food always came out hot and quick, the serving sizes were great. We also had the lemon pie dessert, as I'm allergic to tree nuts this was the only one I could have. But 3/3 of the desserts did have some type of nut. They did have gelato though if you had allergies. The lemon pie dessert was phenomenal. Would I go back again? Absolutely.

I was excited to come to Eos & Nyx for dinner service. This place has been on my to go list since it first opened. When coming here, I would recommend parking at the parking garage at 150 S Second Street. It's the closest parking garage to the venue, which is only a few feet away. Unfortunately they don't validate.A reservation was scheduled a few weeks prior for a Saturday evening. I was running a little bit late, but the staff was understanding and still got seated in a prompt manner. The ambiance of restaurant is very beautiful and spectacular! It feels like you're in a rain forest. The menu is very simple, which makes ordering easy. For the dinner spread we had the following:- Oysters - Prawns- Salmon- Tagliatelle (lobster/beurre blanc/ tsar nicoulai caviar/ parmigiano)Before our entrees were even processed, we were given a complimentary salad that looked like miniature snacks. Very tasty. Right after, the appetizers came out. The seafood tasted fresh. Oysters and prawns were delicious! A palate cleanser was offered before the serving of the main dishes. Main course followed. The salmon dish I ordered for myself was light and delicious. Once we were stuffed, a complimentary dessert was offered and was a perfect night cap.I most definitely recommend Eos & Nyx! If you're looking for a place with an easy way intimate setting for small celebrations or date nights, this is a great place in DTSJ.

Brunch review! This place is absolutely ADORABLE and the aesthetic is gorgeous. I believe it was an old movie theater but its high ceilings gives such a grand and elegant feel for brunch.Food is like Asian fusion style and a little on the pricier side but still very delicious. I'm a huge fan of their cocktails too - very unique flavors like fruity cereal milk, pandan, and peanut butter and jelly. Super fun to experiment and try new flavors! Will definitely need to come back for dinner but overall brunch service was excellent!

Tough to characterize Eos & Nyx. It's hip -- at least compared to most downtown San Jose restaurants -- but with an easy going vibe. It's California farm-to-table with a distinctive Mediterranean flare (the chef is Greek). It's a dinner spot which might be better known for its brunch. On to the food...Everything carrots: I wanted to love this dish but it didn't quite work. Not enough truffle or hazelnut, maybe?bruschetta: the house-made ricotta is excellent. The mortadella was a pleasant surprise lobster tagliatelle: a little decadent but in a good wayBone in pork chop: confused? The bone wasn't in. This was slices of pork. Tender. More potatoes pleaseWine by the glass is limited but reasonably priced.Service was pleasant but a bit perfunctory.

We came here on February 12th for my partner's birthday.I knew it would be busy considering the earliest dinner reservation I could make a day or two before was 8 pm. As my partner was finding parking, I went in first and would not be seated until the entire party has arrived, fair, but the kicker was we got seated by the stairs at a small table (btw all tables are cramped). The ambiance was amazing; the restaurant is beautiful decorated, fancy and private, the lighting at the tables let you see the menu without pulling out your phone flashlight. The restrooms were unisex and amazingly private. We ordered the octopus, tagliatelle, and lamb chops.Octopus (2/10): too salty, we sent it back initially and it was remade without the white sauce, just for the octopus itself to be too salty. It was also bitter and sour like lemon zest, the flavor itself didn't make . We felt bad for sending it back and our waiter so graciously took it off the check. Tagliatelle (4/10): it was plain. The uni and caviar placed in looked nice but the blend itself is odd. It felt like a waste to the uni and caviar eating it with the noodles together. The pasta itself was deliciously made, definitely a fresh pasta. The sauce didn't add much flavor. Lamb chops (6/10): the lamb was gamey, and the flavor was simple. It was tender and nicely cooked, I do wish the bones were wrapped in foil as it had snapped off when my partner tried picking it up to eat. Loukomades (9/10): beignets and vanilla bean cream sauce were chef's kiss, they even added a happy birthday in cocoa powder (though I wish they had a birthday special). Teas (10/10): beautiful flavor, great pairing with the dessert, and fun watching it brew with a sand timer. I recommend the white tea (first option, forgot the name). The best part of the restaurant was the experience. The in between bites that were complimentary and the palette cleanser (delicious) really added to a welcoming atmosphere. I found this place off of an Instagram or Tiktok review. I do wish we had a better experience with the apps and entrees as this place is a 10/10 on the experience. Our waiter was great too, made us feel welcome and didn't make us feel bad for sending the octopus back.

Came here for brunch with some friends to celebrate a friend's birthday. We had made reservations ahead of time. When we arrived and were seated, our table had a Eos & Nyx postcard that said "Happy Birthday" and was filled with signatures. Such a nice touch! We wanted to try different dishes so we ordered five dishes and shared them all. We ordered: Friends with Benedicts, "Bo ne" Thugs-n-harmony, Breaking B(re)ad, California Dreamin, and Plan B.....runch.All of them were delicious!! So good!! I highly recommend all of these. It felt like all the ingredients were well thought of and put together. Also, we were seated upstairs, and it had a great ambiance! Nice and intimate. Our server was great! She helped suggest which dishes we should order, and was very helpful.

We made reservations 2 weeks in advance for brunch. I checked in and they sat us when all parties were present. We had sharing plates and everything tasted delicious! The Strawberry Spumoni was sweet with a bitter aftertaste, which was to be expected. I could've had another! Cute presentation. The decor inside was fancy. The guests were fashionable. The staff was welcoming and nice. The server offered their recommendations and anticipated our requests. They serve the check with a small bonsai tree which was a new experience. I'd definitely come back and recommend this place for a nice outing.
