I had a late night cravings so I came across this taco place from doordash and thought I'd try it out since it's cheaper than other taco places. The tortilla is okay, what I like about it is that it wasn't greasy or oily. The meat was okay too, although some were burnt a little. I requested for salsa but I guess I need to request to put on the side or purchase separately? The red salsa was a bit too spicy for me, so I couldn't really enjoy my tacos. I wish they would've put the salsa separately. Overall, it wasn't too bad, maybe I'll order again.

I had high expectations for this taco truck because of all the positive reviews but I was honestly really disappointed with my visit. There wasn't much of a crowdon a Saturday night (2 other people ordered) but I still had to wait for my food for over 20 minutes. I ordered the Asada Fries (replaced with Tripas) and a mix of 3 tacos (al pastor and carne asada). Unfortunately, every item was disappointing. All three meats tasted bland, lacked any seasoning, and the grilled onions tasted soggy - not sweet, salty, or meaty, nothing. The sauces were also a huge miss. The red salsa had a strong spice kick but no other flavor components but their green sauce was delicious - loved the creaminess and heat it packed. I don't think they bothered frying the fries because all the fries on the plate were oily and soggy. Maybe there was a misunderstanding about the "Tripas" option but I was not aware it referred to beef guts rather than the beef lining tripe I was expecting - what a waste of an order!

I moved and am no longer as close to this taco spot but every time I go to the area I make sure to stop! Fresh handmade tortillas, chorizo is my fave type of taco! The prices are decent, they do take cards/Apple Pay I believe there's a few cents of charge additional but still worth it

I was recently put on to this spot by family and it's the best in the area by far. Don't sleep on this gem.

The tacos are bigger than average tacos and cheap ($2.50 each)! You can tell that the tortillas is also fresh and handmade. I wasn't impressed by the taste of meats, but still satisfied my craving. I got asada, carnitas, tripes, and al pastor. Overall, the tacos are solid.

Best truck in sj, probably best tacos honestly. Not sure why everyone's so upset. Considering the price point to quality this spot beats everywhere else. Best tripas ive had personally out of the bay. Only other place i like is located in gilroy and they're way more expensive than here. Handmade tortillas, burritos always stuffed. And everything has great portions. Yall talking about mediocre tacos and willingly paying 4-5 bucks while el toro got em for 3 all day, plus they're actually good lol. Only other taco trucks ive enjoyed to this extent, and for this price are in LA, Arizona, And Mexico lol. I come here almost 3 times a week. The only bad thing I have to say is that its hard maintaining my diet knowing el toro exists lolI personally Go with the tripas, chicharon, cabeza. Its consistently good. Like beyond good. Stop hating, and go give this place a try. The owner works hard. It's usually only 2-3 of em cooking. Good food takes time, and yall be waiting 2 hours+ for cheesecake factory. Yall can wait 10-20 mins for some tacos lol And yall complaining about salsa is wild. It's 25 cents a pop. Get over it. Half yall don't know what the food costs are running a small business. Theres a reason why all her foods priced the best in san jose. If she puts out a salsa bar she's gonna have to up upcharge everything else because people be free loading all the time. They make everything from scratch. It takes not only money but time too. Have some consideration Thanks for supplying us with the best tacos in sj. I'll forever keep coming here. See you in a few days lol

So 8b ordered these from doordash. It's not their fault. They only driver. It took 11 minutes from pick up to delivery. So delivery has nothing to do with the quality. The chorizo tacos had no flavor. They were just oily af. Asada and carnitas tacos. Again no flavor aside from the oil and salt. I get the need for volume but we didn't even eat them. Threw that bs way I hardly write reviews. Even less this detailed. But Holy

Long time customer. Ordered quesadilla and burrito. Was given two small sauce and was denied when politely asking for two more. Owner recognized I've been coming pre Covid but refused. Speaks volume on how you treat your returning customers.
