El Taco Ranchero

The address needs to be updated. It's actually in front of 7-11 on California St. The food was not the best the tacos had little meat and the chips super hard. I ordered tacos and a quesadilla and only got 1 sauce. Service was okay didn't get notified of the address changed till I called to ask.

Always excellent. It's our go-to spot for local Mexican food. The carne asada and grilled chicken burritos are our favorite items.

Found this place on Yelp after our brisk walk around the Adobe creek loop. I ordered 4 tacos:-carne: 4/5 good-pastor: 5/5 great flavor! My fav one that I tried-carnitas: 5/5 great good too.I really liked their handmade tortillas. Fast service. $12 for 4 tacos. We are it in the trunk of my friend's car since there were no tables outside.

Really wanted to try this spot but despite the hours posted and address, it was nowhere to be found at 11am on a Thursday.

Had to give 3 because they are greedy with the salsa, also the prices on the Yelp review are outdated everything (as expected) Is more expensive the tacos are$3 sodas are $3 Although it was packed they were quick to serve and the staff was very nice

Carne asada quesadilla for the win!!! This place is great, I regularly get cravings for their food, it is so good!

I am so glad I found El Taco Ranchero through good old Yelp! I was in a bind to find a taco truck for a work event and El Taco Ranchero saved the day! They were so easy to work with, and they went above and beyond our expectations!We limited our tacos to beef, chicken, and veggie along with rice, beans, salsa, and chips. Their salsas are really good and their orange (habanero) sauce was sooo good but so spicy! The quality of their meat is so good, did not get any fat like I do at other taco trucks and taquerias.Lastly...the best part of this place (besides the service) is the handmade tortillas. Yes, even at our work event, there was someone making the tortillas by hand in the truck! They were so fluffy and delicious, not like the premade corn tortillas! Highly recommend to visit or have them cater your next event!

My coworker ordered to pick up called ahead for lunch. I got 2 pastor tacos no onions- was $6. The meat had great flavor and the salsa was pretty spicy I got the green but not overpowering where your mouth is on fire, had a great kick. I'd definitely order again.

Today I tried the taco truck on California St in front of O'Reilly its call El taco Ranchero, it was some of the best tacos in this area, hand made tortillas, al pastor tacos are delicious and Buche (hog maws tacos) so silky and soft, they were delicious. Just sharing in case you feel like eating Tacos, this is a great spot. $3 a taco. They are on this spot on California after 7pm. I would call before because during earlier hours they are on Charleston St

I love the al pastor. Both the tacos and quesadillas have been really spot on. The line can build up a bit but as expected. Service is relatively quick. People are super nice. Occasionally get an order mixed up but never really had complaints about what I ended up with.
