El Mejor Mexican Deli

Venturing out to new places and new neighborhoods is always adventuresome! I have seen El Mejor and had to stop by for some grub, I think this place is pretty authentic in that the food is not too bland and also not too overpowering with salt or fat. I came in 10 mins before closing, unaware the staff was wrapping things up for the day and the lady maybe owner was nice enough to make my order!I ordered a pollo asado burrito and the tortilla was nice and warm, the meat was nice and tender and not so charred or overcooked just right. I got some green sauce and added a little of that green salsa flavor and kick to the meat. Hands down the best menudo in town! The service is awesome as well. The menudo comes with hominy but I promise you won't be disappointed! Coming from a person that has a picky husband after trying several menudo spots we stay coming to this one!

I really love this place. Its the best place for delicious menudo. I really recommend right in the morning, with fresh hand made tortillas.

I passed by this place so many times and wanted to try it out since their sign states "best menudo in town". To me it was just ok. Small container for $17, very expensive! Not worth it.

Came here February 27, 2022.Friendly and fast. Menudo was good! Offered in two sizes, medium and large. Seating was for a few small tables. Light on the condiments. It is served with hominy, ( which I prefer).Locals seem to love it. A must try if you haven't yet.

The people are great and authentic, the food is just as good. Pozole and menudo for us, definitely will be back

Went in for the menudo and Lemme tell ya big dawg it's effn good. I mean gats damn. The service was great and inviting. The place is small but very relaxing atmosphere.. all I gotta say is go try it for yourself big dawgs..

You can never go wrong with the Menudo here. The owner of this place is always pleasant to deal with at the counter.

I love menudo and this is the best and closest to my mom's menudo. Hands down. Only thing is it is very small in terms of dining. Plan on to go. You will not be disappointed. They have a variety of food.
