Where else can you find a Super burrito under $10 in 2024? I'd eat here over fast food 100% of the time. My go to is the Carne asada super burrito but without the hot sauce. Parking is kind of difficult if youre looking for parking right in front. But I typically park in the large parking structure behind el farolito and walk through the alley to El farolito opposed to circling around the block multiple times looking for parking.I'm not going to say that their food is the best but when on a budget there's no comparison. I asked the guy working the cash register why they still offer super burritos under $10 in this day and age when it's super common to see super burritos for $13-15. And he simply told me "we don't want to raise the prices unless we absolutely have to since we believe in feeding the people at an affordable cost."I think this mindset is a "last of a dying breed" since most restaraunts are always chasing large profits. I always make sure to tip them since they are a hidden gem in terms of food prices in 2024.

In an unscheduled stop, I walked in around 6:15 pm on a Tuesday evening. Being absent minded, I went to the large Chinese restaurant across the street for a dinner meeting. I missed the memo in learning a few minutes later the meeting was cancelled. As I walked to my car, I glanced up and saw this restaurant across the street with a few people standing in front. Why deal with looking in the fridge for something when I can bring something home. The menu board is large but a sign posted on to glass partition caught my eyes. I brought the enchiladas de camarones (shrimp) (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&start=0&select=FojvA_lJcZndys8aylBBmw), choosing whole beans and red sauce. The meal came with a bag of complimentary tortilla chips (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&start=24&select=8czE5-81rGzV138Kq45T8g) which I dipped in the red and green sauces provided. Visually, it made my mouth water, with the sauce and avocado. Though nice to see the shrimp grilled, they were dry, cold, and tasteless. The sauce didn't help. I also tried the pineapple passionfruit agua fresca (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&start=0&select=vDwKv5eQ7SfcqGQCrXq4Vw) as I drove home which quenched my thirst. It's slightly on the sweet side but the fruit flavor didn't stand out. My favorite part of the food was the chile relleno, side order (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&start=0&select=Pwg888E3VD1fnKFaKor52g); I reheated (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&start=24&select=p8dgWcHpW9mQsJ365i4YSw) it in the toaster oven and, seeing the melted oozing cheese knew this would be delicious. This was my tie-over between brunch and dinner which really hit the spot. I would get this again. The dining room was half full and two people were ahead of me in line to order. For dine in, they will bring your food to you after you order and pay at the counter. The cashier was cheerful and helpful. 3 stars for my main meal and drink, adding a half star each for the chile relleno and cashier.

El Farolito started in SF and this location has a similar menu to the other restaurants. A no frills kind of taqueria. Order at the counter and wait for your order. I ordered a super el pastor burrito and it was really oily. The bottom fell apart so had to finish with a fork. For $9.99 probably the cheapest in the area. Cash/card acceptedStreet parking.

The prices are very reasonable....super burritos for $10 is like pre-pandemic prices! Love the prices, burritos are just okay, as another reviewer said, it is dry inside, not much flavor and the carnitas wasn't crispy; if you just need something quick and cheap, this is the place for it.

Farolito has been a renowned spot for burritos and the location on Mission isn't convenient for me. However, I was on South San Francisco and so glad they have a location there and parking is convenient. My go to for all Mexican restaurants is the Carne Asada burrito. I also enjoy Lengua. Unfortunately, they didn't have Lengua so I went with an Al Pastor taco. Both were flavorful and I loved the fresh green salsa. The only thing was the steak and pork were a little on the dry side. The restaurant had a steady flow of customers and I saw a lot of businesses buying lots of burritos for their lunches. I look forward to exploring more Mexican restaurants:)

Came here with my family on their recommendation. They recommended the super burritos. I had the Cabeza super burrito and a mango Agua Fresca. My burrito had lots of meat, rice, beans, fresh avocado, and was super delicious! Close to the airport and easy to find, easy to park. A little hole in the wall and a hidden gem!Order at the counter and they bring the food out to you. Both sides of this service for a quick, efficient and very friendly! Plan on taking a third of your burrito home with you because they are huge!

Stopped in around 9pm and the place was fairly busy. I ordered the chili verde super burrito, no sour cream. I haven't had a burrito this flavorful in at least a decade. They include a green and a red salsa both of which also tasted really fresh and homemade. And the service was so warm and friendly. I'll definitely be back to this location. PS. Had the leftovers with a fried egg on top the next day.
