El Cerrito 2, while cozy in size, the team seemed short-staffed, which understandably slowed things down, and the food was okay - decent but not remarkable. Giving some slack for the staffing challenges, it's a three-star spot with room for growth

Nice place. Friendly staff. Our waitress spoke no english but still understood us. Our food took so long to cook. There were people who walked in after us and got their food first, so that is why the 4 stars but the food was really good. Order steak burrito and enchilada combo plate. All was flavorful. Big portion size as well. If in the area again, will visit.

First time I ate there (couple weeks ago) I was hung over and got menudo. SHMACKED! Some of the best I've had. But again, I was hung over. A few days ago (not hungover) I ordered a super burrito with carnitas and my lady ordered a couple sopes with side of rice and beans. We ordered to go and when we got home, to our surprise, there were no beans or rice. My carnitas were so over cooked and hard to chew that it was like they scraped the bottom of the cazuela to use for my burrito. It took quite a while for them to even notice the line starting to form before anyone acknowledged us. While we waited we had a couple chavelas with the Tajin rim, and it was nice lookin with the slice of pineapple and orange but when she threw iced cubes in it it threw me off. I've heard great things about this place. Maybe I'll try a redemption burrito at one of their other locations.

I like birria! It's a moist dish and they make it out of goat here. Yum! So I got the super taco. Essentially it's a huge hand made taco with more meat and onion/cilantro. I thought the birria was well flavored. I happened to add hot sauce so it was spicy. My mouth was on fire! In a good way. The only thing that did dampen the experience was a bone! I bit down and there was a bone. Pieces are pretty big and generous. I found it juicy and I would definitely try their other meats. I loved the handmade tortilla!

Delicious authentic Mexican food. The menudo is amazing as well as the enchiladas and tacos dorados. Service is great!

Been here a couple of times now and interesting that it's unclaimed! Authentic Mexican food but both times the food was just slightly over cooked. Their drinks are affordable and service was fast. They can get pretty busy depending on the time of day but midweek wasn't bad at all, we were able to pick a seat right away. Employees are wearing gloves and masks and following social distancing protocol. Will likely visit again!

This place has great authentic Mexican food.The service and staff is friendly too.Tvs and music to boot

These tacos are awesome I visited many taquerias after moving into the neighborhood and their super taco is the best taco I've had. Everything here is cooked to order so they don't use pre cooked meats

My girl and I came in here to have micheladas and some yummy authentic Mexican food, and that's exactly what we got :) A friend recommended this place so we happened to be in the area so decided to stop by last Saturday afternoon. We came in right at rush hour with growling tummies and were a little skeptical because it looked very busy and we did not want to wait too long. However, I'm so glad we stayed!! The wait time for our food was not unrealistic at all! We first received our micheladas and exactly how I ordered mine (light on the Clamato). So 10/10 for attentive to detail. I received my pozole and my friend her enchiladas Michoacanas on a very timely manner. They were soooo good and we could tell they were authentic! The service was phenomenal, our waitress, Margarita, was very professional and polite. Although they were extremely busy on the weekend, the atmosphere, service, and food quality was outstanding!Don't sleep on this delicious food!

The service was great! But the menudo was bland and the pata was gooey. I really wanted some good menudo too....
